Home Depot home to the illegal alien messycan unwashed felon hords menacing the parking lots.

F*ck Home Depot.

F*ck Illegal Aliens.

I hope they both die soon.

We've got one here that was built in '06. It drew a lot of attention back then... I went there today for a pair of Channel Lock pliers and it was nearly empty even here in South Carolina.

There were some trash bag tumbleweeds in the parking lot, though.

You can now haggle with the salespeople and they will knock a few bucks off your purchase. Just tell em you will go over to Lowes and see what they have.

Kind of like a Mexican Bazaar.

Anonymous said...

Who in their right mind shops at Home Depot? I mean they are known for selling "first, seconds"...

Anonymous said...

Not where I live in. HD is packed every Saturday. I never go in the place but I drive by it and man the parking lot is overflowing each time.

Enjoy your home "equity" while you can buddy. Within a year you'll be paying off a mortgage on a home worth half of that mortgage.

DOPE!!!

They're going to try but they can't do what Japan did because they were creditors and had savings to ride out the deflation in home prices. All the US can do is print money and steal from tax payers.

HD lost it's formula. All the store help is gone. Can't even find a checkout person. I'm in the Dallas area and all HDs around me look like ghost towns except on Saturdays. Also gone are all of the clients...illegal aliens. You can clap now.

It is not as busy as it was before. The one I shop is in Pasadena Texas. The one near my home is a ghost of what it once was. I hope it closes and the traffic is eliminated.

Same for Lowe's They just opened a store here in town in Central Florida. If there are 10 cars in the parking lot at any one time that is a lot.

Just had some big discount coupons they floated out that helped but then that went away.

Even my barber is hurting. The majority construction industry crowd in my town can't affort haircuts.

Great Depression II,"
WALL STREET JOURNAL

(by the actions of bush/cheney et all.)

HERE IT IS:

The past 10 days will be remembered as the time the U.S. government discarded a half-century of rules to save American financial capitalism from collapse.
On the Richter scale of government activism, the government's recent actions don't (yet) register at FDR levels. They are shrouded in technicalities and buried in a pile of new acronyms. But something big just happened. It happened without an explicit vote by Congress.

Read here in full:

My take:
1. Fake an attack (9/11)
2. Invade 2 nations delcare WAR
3. Allow massive secret home loan bank fraud to keep the economy going short-term.
4. Crash the financial system.
5. Attack Iran, start WWIII.
6. No more US elections. America operated by the bush-con neo-network, freedoms suspended.

Nobody can stop bush. Nobody!

Bwaaaa!!

Get that popcorn popping!

It wasn't that great a store to begin with. The store near me had lots of people issues witht eh retail staff recommending the wrong products occasionally. Several boxes were getting opened up and little parts pilfered out.

Im not sure if the problem was the store management or the deadbeat customers messing the place up. But even when the stuff was right there the hardware stores ACE and a local one) often had much better prices.

I always thought Lowes was better.

The overpaid/ underproducing CEO of Home Depot now is at Chrysler and going to screw up the show there, too. Watch some recent departures...

I'm in SW FL and I was at Lowe's the past two Saturdays. At 2:00 in the afternoon, the parking lot had less cars than going there at 9:00 on a Monday night. It was empty inside with the sales people wandering around in a stupor....

Love the comment about the drunken boomers! Not all of them are drunk. They are heavily medicated on scripts. At the HD by me it used to be filled with contractors and mexicans. The contractors are not there anymore, but the mexicans are always there. They are illegally committed! I hate Home Depot by the way! I think it is the orange paint. Lowes is soo much a better place!

What amazes me is how fast and furious things are changing.

Now you can hardly keep up - it's a natural disaster per day.

A HUGE Home Depot is currently under construction in Palmdale, CA. only 4 blocks up the street from a Lowes.

The Lowes went from boom (06') to total bust (today). You literally can shoot arrows up and down any isle with out worry to hit a thing.

Many housing tracts that were SUPPOSED to be under construction by now, surrounding the new Home Depot are a long gone planning memory.

Looks like they might have to change the HD purpose to more like HomeTown Buffet.

Opps, on second thought, nobody's going out to eat either? Damn...

What now?

I just came back from a Lowes (Carson City, NV area)tonight. I counted 6 people walking around and three workers. They had a nice array of lawn tractors with nifty cup holders. I bought a couple of metric screws to help them meet analyst estimates for the third and fourth quarter.

HD when they go bankrupt next quarter should be forced by presidential fiat to let the illegal alien felon invader scum and their families and children who are allowed to live outside in their parking lot congregate INSIDE the empty stores.

Round them all up along with any stray liberal politicians you can find.

That way, we could lock the illegals and liberal politicians inside, lock all the doors, close all the windows and drop the Zyklon B pills in through the roof...

Give them the "Special Treatment" they all so richly deserve...

Its faster and cleaner than chopping off their heads.

The Americano remembering his weekend outings to Home De(s)pot will think it is like bad dream when he is sitting in his half-fixed fixer wondering what happened to his equity. Like his realtor, he will be eating ramen.. maybe witha side of roasted Snapping Turtle! He will truly be skewered from head thru the ass, dripping his juices onto the hot coals of the fire (burning his furniture for heat!) I like you Americanos, you crack me up with your crazy pyramid schemes. When it all falls apart, you'll be as poor as the Messycans hanging out at Home De(s)pot!

In the past 2 years, I dropped over $100K at a Home Depot in Central Ohio purchasing materials to remodel every room in my estate.

Two years ago, there were always long line at the checkout, despite ALL LANES OPEN.

Today, you have self checkout lanes and NO WAITING at all to checkout.

The crowd is long gone. I wonder how much longer the store will stay open as there is no way possible that with the light traffic of the past 6 months that they are turning a profit out of this or any other store in the Ohio valley.

As to product quality. I buy the basics (lumber, concrete, hardware, brand name tools, european imported tile, etc.) none of these are seconds, and they are all of equal or better quality than sold by HD's compeditors.

But as to my future purchases? They are falling off a cliff, for 2 main reasons: (a) my income is dropping like a stone as the housing bubble pops, and (b) I've completed most of my remodeling projects.

Before all you renters laugh your a$$ off at me for both owning a home during the bust, and putting over $100K into it that could never be recovered in a sale.

My home is my estate, my hobbie, my life. It is NOT my investment. I expect to die in my estate and leave it to my heirs.

My entire cost of living in style in a spacious 3000 sq. ft. cosy rural Ohio home, including all utilities, is less than what the cheapest 1 bedroom rat infested apartment would fetch. Thus is the power of near true home ownership, where you own the property outright, subject only to property taxes. No HOA fees, no water/sewer assessments, no sidewalks to maintain, no city or village regs to deal with; only limited zoning to keep residential areas residential. A rich man's heaven.

Anonymous said...

"where you own the property outright, subject only to property taxes."

Then you really dont own it.

If you have to pay the government and ever increasing annual tribute just to keep your home, you dont own it. You own the govt lease for that home.

Not where I'm at Norfolk, VA went there yesterday (Friday) to buy some gate parts and it was crazy. Lots of people buying stuff ( lots of lumber and pressure treated stuff for fences and decks) Then I asked my wife what is happening at the restaurants Packed I mean PACKED. Tons of traffic and people out spending money. Just a report from the field.

What Home Depot did is enable low-end flippers to "renovate" all the old bungalows in my area...They were really nice before they were done over...1920's with the old fixtures and wood floors. The flippers "fixed" them with laminate flooring, laminate cabinets...took out the old tubs, sinks and doors and charm. Quick and dirty and ruined. Awful work done by tasteless flippers. (ie: MLS ID# 409245)

The HD boobs figured out that their performance didn't matter. Their salary wouldn't change either way and they were just going through the motions.

Nardelli was a greedy SOB who wouldn't share the wealth with some better incentives. CEO Nardelli robbed that place blind. I was told that Lowes paid front-line people better. What a shit-head. Now he's doing product planning?? Car company??

Im not a retail savior , just observed how the peons felt as a result of this income disparity occuring at the same time that their company stock was going nowhere. So many people felt like why try they had no chance. Awful to watch the demotivation that causes in those peoples careers at Home depot and also as it spills over into other facets of their life. .IT s poisonous to democratic society and can't end soon enough.

Good Riddance to HD and Bushco's crony capitalism. It can't end soon enough.

Unknown said...

The anonymous who smugly outlined the story of his home in Ohio is delusional. His heirs will need jobs, not in Ohio, so they will sell that house very cheap and move.

For all your bluster, your $100,000 in remodeling and hard work will be practically given away one day by your "heirs".

A 3000 square foot, fully remodeled house, in central Ohio is pretty much the most worthless waste of money and sweat equity you could think of.

When Americans are walking the streets searching for food in garbage cans, jobless, homeless will the Bitter Renters have a job to pay that mortgage at 1980s prices? Will you have cool parties in your crib, will you have th only green lawn on the block?

You are the very as the flippers, you are actually worse. You want others and your nation to fail so you can rewrite your karma. You create websites in honor of your wishes, you cast spells and forcast the downfall of your neighbors.

Bitter Renters:
Some things suck, its the accident of birth. You could have been born a boomer and drafted to fight a war in a place you never heard of.

Life has a way of teaching us the lessons we need to know.
This whole website is mean spirited, bad karma and just plain ugly.

"You are the very as the flippers, you are actually worse. You want others and your nation to fail so you can rewrite your karma. You create websites in honor of your wishes, you cast spells and forcast the downfall of your neighbors."

Cast spells... WTF!? Many of us got to this site because we were just living our lives and at the point of purchasing a home (not a get rich scheme just a house), then we realized that, due to criminal actions by the Fed (charged with regulating the mortgage industry), and unlimited greed by mortgage/real estate industry and the Trump-wanna-be-masses, that we be forced to enter a state of economic serfdom just to buy a simple starter home.

Happened to me in 2003. I have been watching this disaster unfold at the rate of paint drying for years now. Don't you understand, we forsaw this outcome (and worse coming soon) and, after surviving as islands of logic and sanity during the past 5 - 10 years (depending on location) of insane greed-fueled-bubble-culture, we now have the right to take some small satisfaction in the fact that we were correct all along.

This is the largest credit bubble in human history. What we visitors to a web site "wish" "forcast" or "cast spells(?!?)" for is completely inconsequential.

You sound like a Johnny-come-lately who just noticed the bubble when his equity vanished.

That is good. They can be reposessed faster and put up for auction in a big lot. FB, the bell has rung for you.

Bye Bye, Dick.

The anonymous who keeps posting about our "bad karma". You are looking at everything backwards.

The past 8 years were not real, the economy was based on nothing tangible. All we want is a return to the structure that worked very well for decades, affordable housing, proper lending, and a rent to buy multiple that makes sense.

Somehow you try to turn HP proponents into the bad guys when the complete opposite is the actual truth. A severe recession would be great for future generations so they can ride an economic wave back up again, as the boomers have left them nothing.

To the homeowner in Ohio...

fellow, you live in the rust belt so there will be no jobs for your descendants. In other words, if you're not either independently wealthy or running a web site a/o day trading operation out of your home, the chances are that your kids will leave the region for an area with employment. This has happened to every region which has gone through this phenomena in history. There are a handful of places like Buffalo which has endured thirty years of a downturn w/o major urban blight but most Buffalonians work for the govt or university so it's really a socialist system over there anyways.
