Buckminster Fuller claimed it can be shown that, as energy costs increase, it would be cheaper to pay office workers to stay home. Some of us would be more productive and useful to society. Clearly there must be a point at which this becomes true. Anyone care to do the math?

It's actually going to be funny watching the reaction of all the Mexican illegals in Southern California when out of work white people start getting desperate enough to settle for their slave labor jobs. 10 years from now, all of the orange/strawberry pickers will be unionized making $30 an hour while we pay $20 a pound for our produce. Next big epidemic = Americans with scurvy.
