The correlation is actually quite bizarre. I guess freefalls after meteoric unjustified rises are just part of nature. Kinda sad on both fronts, but oh, so predictable. I think Britney can get help and recover. And I think housing is beyond help.

Here's another comparasion. Lenders knew what they were doing with the loans could hurt them in the long run, but greed took over. In Britney's case her manager's and agent's knew she needed help, but greed again took over and thats why things got so out of control.
