The Sarah Palin interview was also heavily edited, in order to make Charles Gibson look good and Palin say things that when you read them in context, she never said.

For those of you too lazy to read through the whole thing, Sarah Palin:
1. Hates war, and mentions her son's deployment in that context.
2. Does not desire to go to war with Russia, as has been reported ad nauseum, but prefers economic sanctions if things go that far, and correctly understands the role of NATO if Georgia were a member. This is the most egregious mischaracterization of Palin's positions from ABC.
3. Does not believe the war in Iraq is a "holy war." That is a misquote that Gibson kept pushing on her. Kind of like, "When did you stop beating your wife?"
The sad part is that most Americans will look at the headlines and not pay any attention to the content. Typical MSM. I don't know why anyone takes them seriously anymore.
