HousingPANIC Quote of the Day

"There is technically a deep pocket. They've (BofA) acquired them (Countrywide), they assume their liabilities"

- Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, suing Countrywide Toxic Mortgage but expecting the check to come from Angelo's new owner Bank of America, July 2008

Here's a very revealing story on the propaganda network that arose from Iran-Contra and how it still operates today through Faux News and other media outlets.

Yes, we have a very controlled media in the USA and that is why we are fed a constant stream of bullsh!t.

Iran-Contra’s ‘Lost Chapter’ by Robert Parry

As historians ponder George W. Bush’s disastrous presidency, they may wonder how Republicans perfected a propaganda system that could fool tens of millions of Americans, intimidate Democrats, and transform the vaunted Washington press corps from watchdogs to lapdogs...

Till now Time-Warner buying AOL was the worst deal in recorded history. Maybe this is a new high watermark for stupidity.

Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN. It's all the same BS.

Hey, don't you worry, there's some scam to make money at the bottom of all this somewhere. At the very least, they know they will be bailed out by Congress...

Keith--

Believe it or not, this is a Sweetheart of a deal for Ken Lewis. He is given so many tax write-offs, and the taxpayers will pretty much pay for any losses above 10%. They will become a bigger monster than CFC ever was now--

That's why I say--

BANK OF AMERICA--"The NEW Countrywide"!!

Oh those poor innocent niave Democrats and press--- they were so taken advantage of even even though they have the majority in the house and senate. Oh, and lets not forget that secret propaganda machine --- so many people are supporting Bush right now. It must really be effective.

Now, personally I think the economy stinks and we will likely end up in a serious depression (possibly never recovering to economic superpower status)-- but lets start telling the truth. I am sorry it takes far more than a President to mess things up that bad. It takes a complete corrupt political system. Stop being so foolish and recognize that both parties are equally to blame and the absolute fact is that Bush has very few friends in the main stream media and even less in the blogosphere. Maybe, just maybe its time to recognize where most of the opinions held by the masses of Bush came from --- the media. You are probably more influenced by them than you think. If an effective propaganda machine existed then Bush's approval ratings would be much higher. Fact is the press is definitely left leaning --- look at surveys of the press on their political tendancies. It is a fact. If any effective propaganda machine exists its direction must lie in where the opinions of the masses are funneled--left leaning. Unfortunately, I know that both parties are in kahootz and will see to it that this country is systematically destroyed.

By the way --- who was responsible for NAFTA. My how quickly our memory fades. Maybe its time to see that just perhaps what we are now reaping in this country may have been sown long before the easy target scape goat Bush got into office.

And taxpayer yet even deeper pockets.

An anonymous moron wrote, "By the way, who was responsible for NAFTA. My how quickly our memory fades."

That would be the Republicans. I was amazed that Clinton signed the bill but NAFTA had been in the works for some time BEFORE the Clinton Administration. It was a Republican initiative.

Stop listening to Rush. He just makes you stupider.

Stop listening to Rush. He just makes you stupider.

And don't forget, all the morons that blindly consume Rush's non-sense enable him to personally pull down a cool $400 MILLION dollars in his next contract period.

Now that's what I call mass delusion and stupidity of the masses that allows one person to make so much money for doing little more than reeling in the stupid and clueless on a daily basis.

And yet, the brainless followers don't for one moment realize they are simply the tool he uses to make himself insanely rich.

What fools this country is full of.
