The flaw in both of your logic is that Americano's are the most productive workers on the planet & if the Americano worker goes in the tank then all the damn illegals, as well as all the cheap unskilled laborers of the rest of the developing world, are going to be in even DEEPER DOO-DOO.
On the plus side, a US recession will probably do more for reducing illegal immigration than all the laws we have on the books as well as proposed.
