A time capsule of the greatest financial mania in the history of mankind, told in real-time by regular folks and patriots. May future generations better understand the madness of crowds, and how power and money corrupt.

It's a little silly really. In order to have the money to buy a home, you should also have the money to able to furnish it. Everyone has their own taste in furniture, and having a home full of "not your furniture" isn't that much of a draw.
A simple line of credit with a well known area furniture store might have been better. Though they likely brought all the stuff or rented it all to stage the house.
It's really a common builder mistake to think of a house as a product to be advertised than as a commodity that is sold on a market. Markets as we all know go up and down.
commodity that is sold on a market.

Dear Mr. A$STroll,
Your on crack, if you think housing is a commodity, imo.
Go find a realtwhore Bull Blog, it is not here at HP.
Fook off.
Lets say you finance the house using a 30 year loan, and you keep the furniture for 15 years.
See the problem? You will still be paying for that furniture long after you haven't got it anymore.
Not that people see this sort of thing as a problem, but they will. Just wait and see.
The furniture in this ad is heavy and old fashioned. I would pay them to haul it away. However, it is the perfect fit for the typical mcmansion.
Here in Southwest WA, a builder was offering a brand new Volkswagen Jetta with the purchase of one of his spec homes on Sat. He even had a bright red one conveniently parked at the entrance to the subdivision to "entice" would-be buyers. The houses in this subdivision are listed for around $400k. According to a friend of mine, construction has mostly halted and there are a few partially built houses just sitting there, even though they have no siding on them and the siding has been sitting there ready for weeks.
why do realtwhores put their picture on everything?
If the complaint about pictures is aimed at me, thats simply the picture that Blogger slaps on any comments I make signed in with my Blogger ID.
I've changed to signing in under "Other" which links back to my website.
My apologies for my Sith-like visage gracing these pages.
Hell with furnishings....I want my pizza!
LOL PIZZA FOT ALL FB's.
Thank God HP is getting back to normal, what ever that is.
heheheheh
I prefer a reduced sale price so taxes, insurance and interest will be lower.
It's going to take more than furniture. One big-name national builder just stopped work on a large new condominium on Lee Highway in Arlington, Va., and walked away in mid-construction leaving Tyvek paper on the exterior walls. The same company also pulled out of plans for construction of another condo complex in the same county. It's going to take more than furniture or a Jetta to get people to buy here. In spite of the turnover in Congress, there are evidently no new buyers.
It's going to take alot more than furnishings!
I want a large pepperoni and black olives...WITH a side of twisty bread!
LOL, oh anon. Are you a lost troll looking for Pizza.com???
Maybe! :)
