I believe it's time for Yun to step aside. Just another sad chapter from the National Association of REALTORS on COMMISSION.
Yun has ruined his life, at a young age. Never to be trusted again. Such a shame. But there's one way out Lawrence - TURN ON YOUR EVIL MASTERS. BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU. ADMIT TO THE CORRUPTION AND LIES. COME CLEAN.
Or not.
Special Note: Google/Blogger has locked down LawrenceYunWatch and we can't post. Yes, they have the power to do that for absolutely no good reason (or at the request of their REIC advertisers). We're currently "under review" which they say can take up to a month. If anything ever happens to HP, I'll relocate the blog to www.housingpanic.com. FYI.
Here's the anti-Yun editorial today over at SeekingAlpha:
NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun continues to prove he's lost in the woods.
I'm sure most of you who have followed the real estate market recall his long list of ridiculous predictions. Do you remember when he claimed house prices would rebound in 2007? His quotes continue to supply stand-up comedians with new material.
One could reasonably argue that Yun is committing consumer fraud by trying to entice people to buy into a market that is poised to fall further. I suppose he thinks his ridiculous predictions will restore confidence in the real estate market. If in fact his role is to spread optimism, the NAR should be legally required to post an appropriate disclaimer stating their real purpose.

Arrest Him immediately.
There's got to be a way to start a class-action against the NAR. Got to be. Even if there's no explicit fiduciary duty of realtors (there might be, I've never read their contract), there is at least an implied fiduciary duty that a reasonable judge would uphold.
I'm not talking about suing realtors for "they didn't tell me the house next door is worth half!" ... I think those are sham setup suits ... but against the NAR itself for misleading the community at large for their own profit motive.
OMG, Keith! I had no idea Google was doing that! It's beyond infuriating. Whatever happened to FREEDOM OF SPEECH????
I told you Google was evil.
Yun is corrupt, but Google is pure evil.
That's pretty bad for America when the truth is suppressed and lies are given a platform by the MSM.
How did the worst element gain control of this country? It's one thing the electorate to screw up. It's another for hacks and shiessters to gain positions of power in the MSM and business enterprises (like google/blogger).
We have to turn this thing around. Now is no time to let up.
Thank you Google for silencing the bubble bloggers! Thank you Larry Page. I appreciate your fine work!
And Doctor Yun is the 5th most accurate economic forecaster in the country, so you HPers ought to respect him.
He will just get another job as RE pundit, and like David Lereah, will not go away. Then they will hire another spin man.
What a lovely insight into how disinformation works in many other areas, too, no doubt.
Keith, ready to take back your past assertions that Google isn't evil? They stand for censorship every time someone's expression might lose them a few bucks. Look at what they do in China
we should have a mass email to bring back lawrence yun watch.
We're currently "under review" which they say can take up to a month. If anything ever happens to HP, I'll relocate the blog to www.housingpanic.com.
WOW!
Oh great. Now we are threatened by software terrorists like Google who use computers as their weapons of choice.
America = China
It takes a PhD at Google to come to this conclusion. ( drum roll )
NEWS FLASH * *
ICEBERG ALERT!!!!!
Tuesday, late night:
May 13 (Reuters) - Mortgage fraud is an escalating problem in the United States, the FBI said on Tuesday in a report that cited the subprime lending crisis as a key contributing factor.
The total dollar loss attributed to mortgage fraud is unknown. But 7 percent of the suspicious activity reports filed in 2007 indicated a specific dollar loss exceeding $813 million, the FBI said.
"The $813 million loss denoted in this report is just the tip of the iceberg, reflecting only a small percentage of financial damage suffered by victims of mortgage fraud," said Assistant FBI Director Kenneth Kaiser, who is in charge of the criminal investigative division.

Just the tip of the "iceberg"?.....
OMG, WTF???????????
Bush-Co better start packing it up soon. Real soon.
I'm getting pissed at his criminal leadership style. Enough is enough.
I am to consumer fraud what Casey Serin is to mortgage fraud. I just wish I had orange dude's tan, then I could really make some cool predictions.
Do no evil?
Were Lawrence Yun and John Yoo roomates in college?
Did they say what the Yunwatch blog was "under review" for, exactly? Hell, given that Yun is a public figure I'm under the impression that you can say things about him that would never be permissible if he were a private citizen. Unless somebody made threats of violence against the guy, I'm not really sure why they'd do this.
thats it. I am done with using Google as search engine.
If the realtor add on the home page is any indication... i think google is siding with the NAR...
sad what goodles turning into...
