Bush, the dumbest guy in the room, tries to spin his way out of the housing crash and high gas prices. Olbermann is there to smack him down.

Here's a good companion article about how the current dollar rally is not based in fundamentals.

http://tinyurl.com/5t3qmr

"More choice and lower prices are great benefits of globalisation. But real wealth is only added to when people make things and sell them. You can buy plenty of things once you're rich. But you can't get rich buying things. Great economies are built on production, not consumption."

8 more months to go. seriously though: why not drill in the ANWR to reduce our dependency on foreign oil?

Bush has become such a waste of air, that he doesn't need Olbermann or anybody else to make him look stupid!

Of course, what does that say about the American majority that gave Bush/Chaney two terms.

Too bad Olbermann is such a socialist.

Price gouging legislation? Come on.

This guy can’t even lie with a straight face. This video locks in another 50% haircut in home values with the new administration.

More regulation won't solve Wall Street's addiction to risky behavior; the FREEDOM TO FAIL will solve it. Only when risk takers are allowed to prosper AND fail based on real value will Wall Street (and would be homeowners) start behaving rationally. You can place most of the blame on the Federal Reserve's fiat currency and bail-outs for the both the mess we're in and the continued deterioration of real wealth of Americans. Yay government intervention!

The man has lost all credibility, I can't even listen to him. What a failure.

The ANWR issue is about as dead as it can get. The environmentalists have essentially won, even though it's probably only a matter of time before we drill there anyway. They won because, by the time any production comes online, it will be far too little to make any difference. Adding an extra 1 million barrels a day when we're using around 80 million a day now, and will need over 100 million by the time the ANWR production will be available won't help anything.

Bush is going to be ineffective at changing anything for the better for the rest of his term. The more he does, the worse things will get. More war and more corporate welfare will hurt the people a lot worse, but it'll reward more of the politically connected.

Because Bush and the GOP lost all credibility, FOREVER. So ANY ideas that come out of their holes should be ignored.

Oberman is missing that high oil prices are caused by the Fed lowering rates, commodities spectators, and congress overspending (as well as Bush overspending on the war).

All these housing aid packages (which are really bank aid packages) will devalue the dollar and increase commoditiy prices

A little humor...

Japanese doctor said, 'Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and have him looking for work in six
weeks.'

German doctor said, 'That's nothing, we can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him looking for work in four weeks.

British doctor said, 'In my country, medicine is so advanced that we can take half of a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have them both
looking for work in two weeks.'

Texas doctor, not to be outdone said, 'You guys are way behind.
We took a man with no brains out of Texas, put him in the White House and now half the country is looking for work.

Oberman just ranting his socialist view and a Bush hater. He makes one sided claims with out any facts other than his. The oil crisis didn't start last week, we had warnings 35 years ago when we were waiting in long gas lines to fill up. Since then we have elected both parties to office and we still haven't put America on a oil diet. I bet Oberman isn't driving a hybrid vehicle.
