Keith,

I must say that I find it a bit odd that you like Obama so much given the fact that you're one of the few people in America who's actually aware that we're $53trillion in debt. I don't think Obama has the ability to open his mouth without spending another $trillion.

McCain is dishonest as hell when he talks about "earmarks" and "gov't pork" being the problem, but other than ending the war in Iraq, I don't think Obama has said a single thing that could possibly be construed as fiscally conservative.

They aren't "sheep" you idiots. They're people fed up with 8 years of hell and are desperate for change. The way people also wanted change from Clinton. Were crowds for Bush 'sheep' also? Why do you have an issue with one and not the other? Oh, I guess you see the anti-Dem/Clinton crowd in 2000 as informed, rightly angry citizens, right?

Hypocrites. And don't start about blow jobs in the Oval Office, like you're some kind of moral compass. Do you prefer 4000 dead and your grand kids paying off a war that were admittedly based on, er, 'misinformation'? Do you consider pro-war rallies filled with 'Sheep' also?

You probably foam at the mouth on your sofa as you pop your glucontrol meds for having over weight-no exercise induced type 2 diabetes as you call anyone you disagree with traitors and then hop in your SUV to buy a truck load of Chinese crap from Walmart.

And quit whining and blaming Clinton for everything. After 8 years, your chosen boy should have been been able to change a few things. He didn't. Can't even get his best-friend-Saudi's to return a favor and increase a little production. Get over it and admit it your boy was a HUGE mistake.

Hypocrites. Clinton stunk but Bush and Co. is a downright toxic fume. Don't blame people for being desperate for change.

I hope Obama wins for one simple reason:

Piss off the angry, middlge aged, evangelical redneck retards.

The bible and guns crowd, American version of Muslim fundamentalist.

After Obama wins, I hope all these people move to Isreal and fight Palastine for the rest of thier lives waiting for Jesus to return.

Then Americans can finnally live in peace and rebuilt our society.

Here's why America is doomed:

* Yesterday I was watching, on National Geographic, a comprehensive and touching TV special about the 9-11 event. Everyone seemed so distressed, reaching out for reach other, especially the Wall Street workers.

* As soon as Greenspan made the housing ponzi scheme possible, all those alligator tears were gone fast, and Americans couldn't have enough of screwing their following man, and the country as a whole for that matter. All those people, who were supposed to be so touched by 9-11, were flipping, cheating, lying, stealing, giving phony appraisals, doing Liar's Loans, issuing false ratings, etc. And happened just a few just a few months after the 9-11 attack.

So when you see that Obama crowd, don't get too excited about it. Nothing changes.

Anonymous said...

I wonder if that crowd is going to be enough to elect him, since Hillary voters are voting for McCain or staying home coming November. Good luck!

My wife and I tried to get into the rally, it was held about a mile from our loft.

I was amazed at the number of people standing nearby that didn't get in. They were standing about 10 deep in various enclaves and the surrounding businesses with a view were full. Mostly bars, and hotels.

The bridges were packed and there was generally a sense of hope and well being.

I will be happy to see this country return to the path of righteousness after 8 years of turmoil and darkness.

OK its only been 7 years because for the first year W. was generally on vacation or playing golf.

And just like the first blogger said: its cold and rains everyday so don't move here!

I too watched that 9/11 special and thought of how much people rallied around Bush at the time and how we longed for him to lead us out of that dark time.

People cling to anything during a crisis and often reach out in hope to find someone who can make a differece. I think the current downturn combined with a useless war is a bit of a rallying point for many. Obama has played it perfectly, just as Bush did.

Not many saw the disaster coming that would be the Bush presidency post 9/11, and not many see the potential for even more harm with Obama. He simply represents the hope that people crave right now, not necessarily in the future.

His message resonates, but few people take the time to realize that, as one poster mentioned, outside of his anti-war stance, he will only coninue to spend and increase the defecit while raising taxes.

I like Obama and his message, but looking at thing logically, he may not be the odds-on best man for the job as many emaotional voters perceive him to be.

Vote with logic and scrutiny, not emotion and rashness.

Yeah, that's why I hate Oregon. The remnants of the hippy culture alive and well - still singing Lennon's Imagine as an anthem for a socialist's utopia.

Just so all of you know, when Lennon wrote "Imagine no possessions..." he was sitting at a priceless 24 karat gold-trimmed Steinway grand piano. At his Manhattan mansion where he had a 1000 square foot temperature controlled room designed just to hold his real fur coats.

Lennon himself said of the song, "it is virtually the Communist Manifesto" and "So I have 150 million dollars, what would you have me do? The Buddhist says, 'Get rid of the possessions of the mind.' Walking away from all the money would not accomplish that."

I want to burst the Socialist bubble before it's too late. Look at the size of that crowd that no longer believes in the American dream! It's no longer "work hard, dream hard and make your fortune through self-reliance." Now, it's "take from the rich, give to the government, make the poor reliant on the government." Welcome, to Socialism and the downfall of the West. If only we could guarantee that Robin Hood won't turn evil.

Unless...

something happens to Obama.

In that case, it'll be the lowest turnout in American history, as most of us retreat into our shells. Let's hope that Bush's Secret Service does its job.

Any more mass rallies with no protection like in Portland, and the USA goes with Option B. I love these scenes like the one from Portland, but damn, how about some bullet proof glass anyone? Amazing.

That said, if something happens to McCain (he is the oldest ever btw), and the GOP puts someone like Gingrich out there who the real GOP actually likes, then turnout goes through the roof.

Here's the historical data. Call it the Bush effect - 2008 Obama/McCain will turn 'em out on the Dem and Indy side, while the right wing stays home. Bush has fired up the left and the Inds, while he's demoralized the right.

All the people in that picture are lemmings. All of them. Idiots to a man. The government schools have done their job well it would seem. Critical thinking is in short supply when some guy comes along , as usual, and promises the moon and the end to your problems. tell me, how many times has this happened. then you compare that to ron paul. a man who promises nothing and will give you nothing but promises you constitutional government. Dare I say, if the founding fathers could see that mass of morons standing there in oregon, they would scratch their heads and ponder how in a little over 200 years that we have gotten to this point. of course they would know the answer to that question. the same forces that they were aligned against then are still at work today. it is generational and never ending. when good men do nothing , evil triumps. perhaps it could be stipulated that the founding fathers worked in vain to help us achieve liberty and now we have lost it. God help this blind and stiff necked nation.

Can't we just accept that all of the candidates are a joke?

McCain is a lying senile old nutty fruitcake that wants to bomb Iran and with his economic knowledge couldn't tell you the difference between supply and demand.

Hillary is a power-hungry lying charlatan that will say anything and do anything to be elected and let's face it - she's not going to be elected.

Obama is intelligent, a great speaker, is black which is great for race relations but is equally clueless when it comes to the economy and is the biggest socialist of the bunch. Just last week I heard him saying the stimulus checks weren't big enough! Well Mr Bobamba-boombama why don't we just run those economic stimulus check printing presses day and night and enjoy eternal prosperity!

In summary, they all suck hard.

McCain is the scariest by far however because he really is as dumb as he looks and you don't want someone that pro-war and senile anywhere near controlling the greatest nuclear arsenal in the world.

So here's what you have to choose from:

McCain : Good chance of WWIII. Enhanced police state. More death and destruction to innocent families in the Middle East and more needless deaths of US soldiers. Economic collapse.

Obama : Socialist utopia leading to economic collapse.

true, the white male is a endangered species. the world is against him because of political correctness and multiculturalism and diversity and cultural marxism which is running rampant in our society. and it will not get any better. we can sit and argue moot points about this and that, but it doesn't change anything. you look at south africa and see what is happening there now. or look at what has happened in Zimbabwe. i dare one person to tell me things are better over there now than before when those places had white governments. the people there are starving now. the economies are dying. there are rolling power outages. when the power goes out in a area, the blacks come in and steal the electrical lines while they are turned off so they can sell them to the metal dealers. on the freeways, you can get robbed while waiting in traffic. blacks come on farms and mercilessly kill white farmers and commit all manner of crimes and not a word is heard. no, the white western european culture is under attack and the white american male is a endangered species and i don't care who says what. that is the way it is and nothing but revolution can change that. you go in black areas in the cities and i would like one of you, just one to tell me things are better there than they were before civil rights laws. they are not. nothing has changed. it has only gotten worse. civil rights was not for helping the blacks but for destroying the white race. that is the only reason those laws were passed. and when the white race dies, so goes the nation. a dirty little secret that no one wants to talk about....but a real situation that is happening right now in the times that we live in. when times are bad and things are rough and food is scarce, i ask you. where will these mexicans and blacks go to look for money and food? will it be like south africa? that is a very good question. is south africa now, like the united states will be in the years ahead. perhaps the summer will be a long and hot one here. i suggest some of you, to go and examine the rodney king riot videos on youtube to see what happens when society breaks down. it is not pretty.....

He is a socialist, and socialism is a feel good philosophy that never comes true. Massive entitlement programs will spell the end of the American dream. That's what I blame Bush for - squandering the promise made to citizens who worked hard to earn America's place. Still, each and every voter must take responsbility for casting a vote for The Socialist States of America. There is nothing "progressive" about Obama's point of view. The Democrats are voting to create that perfect hippy commune they imagined back at Woodstock - and they are all asking about what their country can do for them (by taking from the rich). Becoming pathetic, left wing, pacifist victims. For those of you paying attention - that is a sheep.

"Readers... will recall that from time to time in covering an election cycle I have referred to a voting bloc that political analysts of more delicate sensibilities would rather not mention, to wit, the moron vote. It is a constituency composed of politically ignorant citizens who nonetheless feel very intensely about political issues once their respective demagogues have notified them of the issues, suitably transmogrified. The moron vote’s rank and file might, in point of fact, not be morons at all. Some might be marine biologists or interior decorators or professors of romance languages, and in their chosen field they might be very knowledgeable. Yet when it comes to politics they are in the dark. They are very angry but still in the dark. We can all feel superior to these poor souls, if we are bereft of charity, but we might also feel a twinge of compassion for them. After all, they are not totally to blame for their ignorance. Most have been misled by their political messiahs, or should I say by their seducers? The fact is that in many elections clever politicians shamelessly prey on their supporters’ insecurities and the gaps in their political knowledge".”

The answer is that the urban centers in the Pacific North West (Portland, Salem, Seattle, Tacoma, etc...) have populations that are largely White AND largely educated. The percentage of people with advanced degrees and post graduate research exposure is among the highest in the country and in the developed world.

It is common to find bartenders with Master's degrees. They are underemployed but happy. Those I have spoken with say they have chosen the life of a working man...so go figure?

Educated people are inquisitive and seek to validate information more then those who are not. So we are not the "Sheeple" so commonly referred to here by the various Anonymous posters.

After observing and studying the Bush administration and their proxies it is clear that these people have deceived and cheated the very people who supported them. Many of us are former Republicans that have seen the light.

I have been to the puppet show and I have seen the strings.

Those in West Virginia, Kentucky, and the rest of 3rd world America may vote their prejudices first, but by general election time they will vote their wallets and their stomachs.

Because if that happens, THAT MANY PEOPLE will be out in the streets saying NO WAY to another LIAR and loser like GWB.

Bush Lies, 1000's Die
Bush Lies, 1000's Die
Bush Lies, 1000's Die

Oh, i'm sure THAT sounds ridiculous to YOU, right?

Decent book, reading it now. I'd say that's two out of three right there in the photo.

The most over confident, over promising (obama) always draws the sheep away from the more cautious and skeptical (ron paul).

"Why are the whites different in Oregon than West Virginia?"

I'm in Portland now. There is a liberal sort of virtuousness I guess. I recall feeling that way when entering Jr. High school during the first years of integration, but soon learned that it is not enough for me to be open minded, because the blacks certainly do have good reason to hate whites, and they are indeed very prejudiced.

Anyway back to the liberal hippie oregonians, I think it could just be that same sense of naivity, they do not understand because they have never been confronted with the ugly truth. They have been properly brought-up to think politically correct.

It is amazing because Bamma sounds like a southern preacher selling snake oil to the idiots. HEAL! I COMMAND YOU! It is such a corny pitch and the last bastion lap it up like dogs. I thought liberal ideal a cross and wrapped in the s conflicted with religious fundamentalism...no?

Who said that when fascism comes to America it will come carrying a cross and wrapped in the flag?

Did Bamma say that he was very committed to Africa? Picture this...America gets invaded by African illegal immigrants just like happened with the South Americans. What do they call them...the Jangaweed or something? Islamic fundamentalists who are committing genocide in Africa. America could get swarmed with them just like EURABIA.

What some whites fail to realize is how much blacks really do hate them, and not necessarily without just cause.

There are no decent candidates this time, Amerwika is doomed.

OMG I lived in Portland and this crowd is no suprise. Portlanders will gather in droves for anyone who is a Democrat or left or whatever. Hillary would get a equal or larger size crowd showing up in Willamette Park if she does a portland rally, Do you realize how many feminists and lezbos are in Portland????.

If McCain showed up he be beaten to death and tossed in the river! When Cheney came to PSU in 04 they rioted so much that Cheneys motorcade bailed while objects were thrown at it.

Im fucking sick of Obama all ready he gets a free media pass everywhere while Hillary the much stronger candidate gets more negative press especially from closeted little blonde weasel aka Chris Mathews and his pal Olberman

I still hope Ron Paul runs as a independant but either way in protest im gonna write in Paul since he seems to be blacklisted on MSM

BTW Chris Mathews and obama worshippers Hillary is not losing only behind by a small amount of delegates so why should she concede to that pompous metrosexual autobiography writing bringing up race issues yuppie inexperienced baby senator who reads a teleprompter while making his marvelous SPEECHES???????

Lot of white people turning out in Oregon for Obama

Why are the whites different in Oregon than West Virginia?

Serious question.

A year or two ago I saw a paper online about the different groups that settled the US and how the elites had very different ideas about religion and class and that those differences still echo down today. And then there is the huge schism caused by the civil war. Further the west coast is much younger than the East and more mobile.

The upshot is that people on the west coast don't tend to identify in terms religion, race, or family. Obama may be nominally black, but what they see mostly is a well dressed professional man.

PS: I love the frothing comments by 'anonymous' cause it means they're freaking out. And more what they are saying only makes sense to their fellow coolaid drinkers. To everyone else it's the raving of madmen. It's a good sign that Obama is on the right track.

Finally a woman posted something insightful about this election. I can't comprehend how women bow to these boy's club shenanigans.

Women work more for less pay, including household chores, while the boy's club treat them like trash. Women love it!

The boy's club denied them the opportunity of having a woman as president who could influence legislation in their favor. And the women fell for it. No wonder a men's haircut costs $15 (unless you're metrosexual Edwards), while women's costs $100. Suckers!

Right on. Obama and his group are seeing that the Latino population has grown larger than the black population in the US, so they're in a mission to flood the place with blacks, hence one of their 20 points being "Unconditional Devotion to Africa".

There's no way to fix social issues when black single mothers are having 6 kids by the time they're 23. There's no way to keep up. No matter how hard we try or how much money we throw at it, every single thing will always be the white men's fault.

And the Democrats' approach is to condition everyone as victims, instead of empowering them. Just look at how the Obama's camp pulled the race card on this election, to no other than Clinton, who even has a presidential office in Harlem, and best friend to several blacks for decades. Calling the Clintons racists is a stretch and an ungrateful insult. Hey, but everything's always Clinton's fault, right?

Interesting how the Japanese gets a nuclear bomb on the head and in a matter of a couple decades they rise as a superpower from their once totally ruined country. The same for Germans. Sony started by making rice-cookers at home. But in America or Africa, no matter how much money or how much effort we throw at social issues, nothing seems to work.

It's such a hogwash that people in red states like Kentucky are racists. White families in red states always receive thousands of exchange students from Latin America and Asia, no matter what color they are. They bring them into their houses to live amongst their kids, go to high school, travel on vacation with them to show the US, feed them, etc.

American farmers participate in those programs all the time. And no, there's no money to be made with that. That's a fact. Red states receive much more exchange students from abroad than Oregon or California. Does anyone here, from a red state, ever met an exchange student living with an American family? You probably saw some of them in high school.

Now ask if any black family receives any exchange foreign student from abroad, or form Africa. Ask if P-Diddy, Oprah, Jay Z, Hollywood Celebs, etc, bring any foreign student to share their American culture while paying for it. Thank you ladies and gentlemen, I rest my case.

So there, a little common sense thrown at you.

Well here's some video evidence that doesn't appear to support your argument:

Red State West Virginian: "I just can't vote for a black man. I'm not prejudiced or anything. I just can't do that"

Red State West Virginian: "Obama is a Muslim"

FYI here's some info regarding black on white violence. The media tries to cover it up.

www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/racewar.htm

Here's one about Alan Senitt, who had his throat slit by a black gang in Georgetown, Washington DC, while trying to protect his girlfriend from rape. Naturally this because a cause for black outrage about discrimination!

Seriously there are stories about this stuff happening all the time, but if you say anything you are branded "racist".

This is a real and present danger, folks, and those who ignore the danger do so at their own peril.

Notice that the blacks including Hopra automatically vote based solely upon race.

But wait, not all. Here's a black website that does not support 'Bamma

I'm curious as to why Obama supporters are so mesmerized by him. Surely, the "charisma" and well-performed speaches can only go so far before you start to take a serious look at his qualifications, or lack there of.

How many of the Obama supporters are aware of:
1) The number of times he declined to vote for or against a bill, and instead chose the politically safe route (and cowardly) "present" vote

2) Has a record of changing his vote so he can be on record as being both for / against an issue (he did this repeatedly during his time as a state senator, citing that he made a "mistake" when he casted his vote and later wanted to change it)

3) He lacks any sort of executive, foreign policy and business/economic experience. While his rise to success has certianly been amazing, he has nothing significant to show for his time in the state or US senate.
Although, he didn't spend much time in the state legislature because as soon he got into that office, he immediately began running for US Senate. And how long was he in the US Senate before he ran for the presidency?

So after one gets through all the hope and change hype, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of substance or relevant experience. And while it may be exciting to get caught up in the buzz, doesn't that matter to you that the person in office doesn't have a track record to prove to you that he can deliver a better America?

Well here's some video evidence that doesn't appear to support your argument:

So what, because one guy is racist in the state, the rest of the state should be too? Nice fallacy. We find plenty of racists in blue states too, including racists who happen to be black and who hate Asians, Hispanics, and Jews. Nice try, Obama's obedient b!tch.

Anonymous said...

So, let me get this straight. Hillary keeps winning, by large margins, all the important swing states, plus substantial votes from important demographics such as Hispanics, Asians, blue collars, women, seniors, lower income, Jews, Catholics, Reagan Democrats. And she's ahead in the popular vote, while being bashed 24/7 by the media and outspent by 3 to 1.

Meanwhile, Obama wins in red states that will never turn blue during GE no matter what. Plus the only reason Obama is ahead in the delegate count is because of trickery with the pathetic system of Caucasus that don't reflect at all the popular vote during a GE.

The DNC and its biased delegates based their decisions on the NC primary, which according to them and corrupt pundits was a huge win for Obama. An unusual state in which 40% of the population is black and 91% voted for Obama. If you take the white population of that state, huge margins voted for Hillary and very little for Obama. Big win? Depends how the media helps Obama to hide the alarming data.

But even so, with all this alarming evidence, the DNC has decided to pick Obama as the nominee, while splitting the party in 2 by having types like Richardson and Kerry bash the Clintons on national TV, and allowing the Obama camp to pull the race card in a desperate attempt to get the black vote (only 12% of the population and most don't vote).

Oh man, that makes a lot of sense!
McCain will be elected in November, no doubt.

"No wonder a men's haircut costs $15 (unless you're metrosexual Edwards), while women's costs $100. Suckers!"

There are women's haircuts for $15, too. However, many if not most women are too vain to go for that. The average man settles for a $15 haircut not because he doesn't know full-boat service will make him look better, but because he is frugal. . . whereas only a minority of women would settle for that. You actually think a man would not enjoy a spa and massage if money were no object? In a typical household, the woman spends much much more money on herself than the man does on himself, despite their income disparities the other way. On the income disparity, average women make less than average men because the average woman takes 2-5yrs out of the career path in the most critical period of a typical career. A guy who quits his job at age 32 to be a stay-home husband full-time raising baby then re-join the work force at 37 won't be highly paid either; heck, he may not find a job at all.

John McCain’s chief media adviser said Tuesday he is stepping down rather than campaign against Barack Obama.

Mark McKinnon said last year that he would leave McCain’s campaign after the primary season if the Arizona senator were to run against Obama.

The Illinois senator is not the Democratic nominee, but he has accumulated a significant lead in the number of delegates required to claim the nomination.

In a 2007 interview with Cox News, McKinnon said he would vote for McCain, but "I just don't want to work against an Obama candidacy." He added that if Obama were to reach the White House, it "would send a great message to the country and the world."

Hey, it's not your fault that you're an idiot. It's the education system that pushes socialist agendas and worship of the state.

Capitalism ie free markets have brought all the luxuries you take for granted into existence. Your fancy car, your fancy coffee, all the choices you have at the supermarket, modern healthcare etc. etc.

Those things do not develop under state controlled socialism. Socialism totally destroys innovation and progress. Just look at all of the examples throughout history.

I couldn't agree with you more. Most idiots despise capitalism because they don't know the hazards of socialism.

Let me give you one example. When I was living in Paris, while attending Sorbonne, I bought a cell phone. A couple of days later the phone stopped working, so I took it back to the same Orange store (no relation to Mozillo) to replace it or find out what was wrong.

After waiting for about 45 minutes, while one French clerk was chatting away with a customer about nothing and the others were faking busy, the French clerk told me that it would take 2 weeks to fix the phone.

When I asked her to replace with another unit because I needed the phone and it wasn't my fault that she had sold me a defective unit, the clerk told me in a rude manner: "This is not the US, we don't replace defective things with new ones. You'll have to wait for two weeks without a phone until it gets fixed."

So they got my cash, gave me a defective French cell phone that lasted 2 days, refused to replace it with a new unit, and gave me the finger. Orange is a huge company in Europe.

This is your socialism at work.
