Romney wins Michigan, "Uncommitted" almost beats Hillary, and the 2008 race for President is getting really kinda funny now

I'm enjoying this race thoroughly now in a sick kinda way.

300 million people and this is what we end up with. But you gotta love the process - at least we get to pick our leaders, no matter how fake and incompetent they are. Unlike our friends in the UK, who just get stuck with some bloke without any say in it.

USA! USA! USA!

Mitt Won, Authenticity Lost

By RON FOURNIER, Associated Press Writer Tue Jan 15, 10:38 PM ET

WASHINGTON - Mitt Romney's victory in Michigan was a defeat for authenticity in politics.

The former Massachusetts governor pandered to voters, distorted his opponents' record and continued to show why he's the most malleable — and least credible — major presidential candidate.

And it worked.

The man who spoke hard truths to Michigan lost. Of all the reasons John McCain deserved a better result Tuesday night, his gamble on the economy stands out. The Arizona senator had the temerity to tell voters that a candidate who says traditional auto manufacturing jobs "are coming back is either naive or is not talking straight with the people of Michigan and America."

I'm a Massachusetts resident and I think Romney did a good job here. I'm not crazy about him but I think he's our best bet for president. He took in office in MA as the dot-com bubble was crashing and the state was facing some hard times. Against A LOT of opposition he cut spending. He also lowered general taxes and offset them to some extent with more focused user fees. He has flipped his positions on some social issues, to be sure, but at this point in time we need a guy like Romney in office who can make some tough economic choices.

Don't worry, most people here are borderline retarded.

They elected Granholm as Governer and Debbie Stabenow to Senate... TWICE!

I can't wait to graduate college and leave.

Hey Folks,

With the exception of Ron Paul, if you vote for any of the Rep/Dem candidates, NOTHING is going to change in Washington. You're as phony as they are...

Of course Michigan voted for Mitt, he’s a “native son”, and the son of well-known former Michigan governor George Romney. His victory in MI wasn’t the “turn around” that the media was claiming, it was a man simply winning his home state.

Ron Paul better start spending some of the $20 million we gave him. He should skip SC and Florida, and focus on Super-Tuesday. He should stop talking about everything but the economy He’s the only one pre-positioned for the crash that everyone has suddenly discovered.

Ron Paul has the right ideas, and should run as an independent!

The new economy where all Americans are third world slaves except the greedy stupid wanna be investers who thought they were going to be masters over the newly created third world slaves (the American middle class). Well, get ready for the deppression you illiterate pig, it will be here before 09. You will then understand that you were always just another pig to be slaughterd. Getting nervous. Take whatever few coins you have left after your fortune (what a joke) disappears and get yee gone to Mexico along with the illegals your globalist masters brought here. John McCain is a fool, a fat old man who sold his country out for thirty pieces and a shot at the crown. There will be standing room only in hell.

First, Cramer complains about the
Fed not cutting, so the Fed cuts, and Cramer is still complaining?

He's finally seeing that no matter what the Fed does in the form of cutting rates, it doesn't resolve the problems in the market.

Consumer spending is down, lay offs are on the rise in the sectors of our economy that actually produce something, and housing is no longer a viable way of preserving or creating real monitary wealth.

The markets will continue to drop.

The elections are rigged.

Americans only get to pick who they want from amoung the BANKER CONTROLLED POLITITIANS.

That is why votes for RON PAUL were not counted in NH.

The system is crooked, broken, and America is controlled by the european based international bankers.

VOTE FOR RON PAUL. LET 'EM KNOW HOW PISSED OFF YOU ARE AT THE B.S.
