Dissent is not disloyalty. And true patriotism is dissent against a government's abuse of the people's rights

Ron Paul will not be elected president, but he helped start a revolution. He was willing to stand up and challenge the state, and our corrupt leaders and system. And he helped change the collective consciousness in America. We'll see where it goes now.

Happy MLK day. I hope to see more leaders who stand up for what is morally right, and fight back against the immoral and corrupt scoundrels and tyrants running the United States today, no matter the risks to their personal safety and freedom.

That Ron Paul speech reminds me of WHY I voted for Ron Paul in the Michigan primary last week, and WHY I will vote for him on the 08 presidential ballot.

If he is not on the ballot, then I'll walk out and NOT vote for anybody.

I do NOT support our troops in Iraq, bush, cheney or illegal wars with no end in sight.

I also do not support idiots, mass murderers, liars, elected officials who do not impeach bush and cheney, thieves, slugs, bushco network members and mass media companies.

Two true patriots

just finished reading RP's Foreign Policy of Freedom... sounds like we intervened in others' affairs throughout the entire 20th Century. our economic collapse and the free-flowing real time information available on the internet WILL NOT put a monkey wrench in that clockwork. basically, our country is run by idiots b/c that's who elects them- a nation of idiots. maybe, and this a big maybe, the youngsters rallying to Ron Paul at our colleges across the nation will learn the lesson that the youngsters who marched against the Vietnam intervention apparently DID NOT learn.

Ron Paul has beat top tier candidates in almost every state without the help of the MSM, and you throw in the towel already? He's got the money to hang in there when many of the others, except Mitt Romulan, may have to drop out soon since there is no clear winner yet.

Yes, the odds and media are against RP. You obviously don't want people to laugh at you for supporting him if he loses, but why rain on his parade before it's over? This isn't about supporting the sure winner. It's about supporting what is right.

If I had the money, I would pay to broadcast this entire speech in Florida.

My Question:

Where was Jesse exactly when King was whacked?

Anyone trace his movements the last 24 hours before....

Boom Boom out goes the lights...

Kieth,

I as a black man in America that has lived more than a few episodes of HBO's THE WIRE and a very proud HP'r. I would like to thank you for the post of MLK on his day. He loved us all,(you too DOPES)and stood up for what's right.

I am often asked how could I support Ron Paul when "we" have Barack Obama? The answer is simple...The man speaks the truth!
More people should try it, It feels good.

MLK and RP standing up for the little guy. Today, all Americans are being oppressed by Washington DC and Wall Street. I have a dream that one day, all the criminals are bounced out of DC.

I believe that you are wrong on this one Keith. By the time the convention comes around this country will be mired in a full scale depression. People will be desperate for a leader who can pick up the pieces and rebuild this once great country. By then, it will be clear to all that Ron Paul is the only candidate who saw this mess coming and the only one who can help this country rise from the ashes. This is how and why he will be elected.

Keith, it's better to be right than to just back a winner.

Until this post of yours, I thought that you believed as much.

I am saddened that we here in the US must soldier on knowing that you have abandoned the cause.

Ron Paul is a modern saint!

I am scared and now Europe is close to civil war and our NATO is considering using nukes against the third world...

RP might be well versed in obstetrics, freedom, and
monetary policy. I am not.

But I know enough to realize
that he falls short on global
history, law, and politics.

Dude, you can do better than that!

You can always write his name in. This makes more of a statement than not voting at all. If I can vote without standing in line for 2 hours, I will be voting for Paul in the general election as well, regardless of whether I have to write in or not.

RON PAUL GOT 2ND IN NEVADA AT 14%!!!

DOPES!!!

That was meant for the naysayers out there...

Also note that South Carolina's voting was done totally on Diebold machines with no paper trail. In case you were wondering why RP got only 4% there...
