Watch this pre-housing-crash video - "Let's Make a Boom". WARNING - you're gonna get sick

Straight out of the textbook HP'ers. Bidding wars. Lines of sheeple. Tony Robbins. "It's different this time" and realtors saying "there is no bubble". Hell, even Nicholas Retsinas shows up to cheerlead and say prices wouldn't fall. 'Nuff said.

Here's the video. (on the BNN - takes a few seconds to load)

The scenes of housing gamblers yelling and screaming and dancing at the get-rich-quick seminar will turn your stomach. And make you even madder at Congress and Greenspan calling to bail out these "poor people who were taken advantage of". People gambled, they lost, and now it's time for the market to do its thing.

Bleech!

Can you say EUPHORIA?!? This is textbook. When people in the future study this period in the real estate bubble, this video should be required coursework. I love it when the real estate professional dude says there might be adjustments but there is no bubble... "won't happen". Um, based on what? He just states it like a command. Wonder what he's up to now? And that home buyer... she didn't know how lucky she was that she was overbid.

Classic! These wheel spinners acting like carnival workers are just carnival workers now.I remember the commercials for these seminars

I sure hope the asshole who bought the south central LA apartment complex pulling out of section 8 and making his tennants pay another 1200/mo lost his ass big time...and the SOB that bought the mission and kicked out the homeless

Strange how the dancing fools at the Get Rich Quick seminar looked like the dancing fools at religious revivals eh?

Strange how both types of events are led by people getting rich telling others how they can get rich (financially or spiritually), eh?

Truly a fascinating indictment against news reporting. Everything in that report was misleading. The expert at the end epitomizes the wrong thought within the piece: "at the worst prices will stagnate", "real estate is local not national", blah, blah, blah. Before I discovered blogs like this one, I had to rely on reports like that one.

I liked the part of the video when the narrator says houses sales are fueled by demand.

What about speculation?

Wait until the sheeple learn that they were had.

I am actually about to throw up. Were these rallies staged? Did human beings really behave this way? I find it hard to fathom that these weaklings bought into this.

Thank goodness we are returning to reality here. These realtors and cheerleaders should have been prosecuted a long time ago.

Is this a picture of a human being or just a messed up looking piano??

I was laughing the whole way through that deal. Love to check up on the gal who I am sure eventually bought a house. How much has she lost year to date? That tool Restinas contradicted himself several times in his interview. He talks about supply and demand and bla bla there is no bubble. He should go to the Altos Research site and check out some Phx cities if he wants to see some stagnat prices :)

Just in the last 7 months Phx has lost 50K. Check it here...
