Boston Legal takes on the housing bubble and mortgage meltdown. "Kill all the bankers"

When the housing crash finds its way into silly little primetime TV shows in America, game on. The collective consciousness on housing has changed.

Now even housewives and grandpas on Main Street who don't read the newspaper are coming to understand that something really bad is happening when it comes to housing prices, debt and the American financial system.

No matter what realtors on commission and Fox News broadcasters tell them.

It's an OK show, but the freakin' soapbox speeches are ridiculous. No judge in the country would let trial lawyers pontificate during a trial like they do on BL! A typical judge would say something like:

“Excuse me, counselor – is there a QUESTION in there somewhere?”

OR

“Counselor, if you want to TESTIFY, then get yourself called as a witness!”

Perhaps the ministry of information should use play acts such as this to communicate with the dumbed down Americano and assorted illegal resident population to advise them that the free money is over, and its time to return to their country of legal status before such barristers seek them out with their lawsuits and deputies that serve them that may just get a two-fer and be able to bust them and deport them after trial.

When you are a permanant liiegal tourist from Mexico, you had to just love the no doc mortgage system of the bubble. But now, "!si se vuelvamos!"

That was fantastic. Love the look on the banker's faces as reality starts to sink in. They are screwed, and trying to bluff THEMSELVES into mental oblivion, while trying to convince/intimidate the opposition. Love it!

Does the camera operator have ADD? Stop fiddling with the zoom! Keep the camera still!

Also, why does the bad guy lawyer talk with a sing-song voice? Very unnatural.

I guess that's the modern style. Why don't they make more shows like Hart to Hart? "She's a lady who knows how to take care of herself". Now that was good.

You mean that in real life they don't catch and try a murderer in less than an hour?!? Gee, thanks for setting us straight!

Now our side is Sooooo mainstream - I'm bored.

It was much more fun last year when we were the "tin foil hatters." Maybe we should shift into HousingRECOVERY blog mode just get back onto the contrarian side again.

The writers are becoming much less edgy. They would have in an earlier season had the Shatner character busted for soliciting a housewife-turned-prostitute in her HELOCed-home-turned-bordello.

Still a good way to show the sheeple which way to run.

Just read an AP article about serious concerns that this is spilling over to credit card debt. People late on their payments is way up. The "experts" actually seemed suprised by this.

If all the FB's would just walk away and rent, then most of the damage would be contained to the financial sector.

that was good

See, legal predators can work both sides of the deal and perhaps, after paying their bills, get back to square one.
