Will the Great Housing Crash make people hate this guy even more than The Great Iraq F*ck-Up?

Just asking...

Funny how our first MBA president was also the one who presided over the destruction of the US currency, manufacturing sector and economy. Guess that shows you the value of a fancy degree.

Note to the last few Bush supporters and hard-core GOP: This idiot has set your party back 40 years. Your party is no longer capable of winning general elections. You're now the party of fiscal mismanagement AND terrible foreign policy. Want to fix it? Ron Paul.

Bush Disaproval Highest on Record

A majority of Americans now strongly disapprove of George W. Bush’s performance as president, the highest number in the history of the Gallup poll.

Fifty percent of Americans now say they strongly disapprove of President George W. Bush’s performance as president. This marks the highest percentage of Americans strongly disapproving of his performance since Bush came into office. Although Gallup has not measured the intensity of job approval regularly over the years, this “strongly disapprove” number is among the highest Gallup has measured for presidents, going back to Lyndon Johnson.

A not surprising poll. But the emphasis is wrong--half of the americans polled seem to be o.k. Lets not forget that this moron was elected becuase a goodly portion of our fellow citizens are infact morons. Yes, they are. We don;t like to admit it. The current situation in housing, Iraq, credit, crime, immigration all arose becuase as a rule the citizens of our fair land are selfish, lazy, ignorant fools. The clever tenth game the system. Next we will have Mrs. Clinton--odd how the MSn says she is so smart--If she has ever said anything remarkable, memorable or intelligent word of it has failed to get out..... We need Ron Paul, but frankly--we do not deserve him. If we were honest, hard working and thinking people we would beat up most of the msn and insure that Ron gets the attention he deserves. But again, nation of imbciles will elect imbeciles.....

I've been saying this for 9 years and he's only been in office for seven. I knew this puppet regime was going to be the downfall of America and boy was that an underestimate. It's even worse that I predicted. God help us! In answer to your question though, yes the Great Housing Crash may be his downfall because there are no real ways to spin the truth on such a clear sore spot.

These days the business model taught to MBAs is all about short term personal profit. They are all focused on low cost, high volume, quick sales, and cheap labor. In the long term this is destructive.

Even if we had to pay more for the communist made goods at Walmart had they been made in the USA we would be better off as a nation for it. We would have factory workers in America who would be paid a good wage and would thus buy products and services themselves. Money needs to cycle within our economy for strength.

Globalism is just a code word for greed. Nice to see it will completely fail as energy prices surge and the dollar falls. This crisis will be our salvation in the long term.

BTW, an MBA is meaningless except for the fact that the tution was paid on the 36 semester hours signed up for. As with anything else you just buy a diploma with money.

If his failures leads to the wholesale rounding up and gassing of republicans it was all worth it.

Republicans are the scum of the earth.

This clown is a disgrace to all true Republicans or conservatives.
The amazing thing is how his followers blindly follow him, regardless what he does.
I voted for him in 2000, and thought he did a decent job till he got this crackpot idea to invade a country that never atacked us.
Because he's such a f-up, we are going to be subjected to another train wreck..
Hillary is going to win, not because she will be good for this country, but because the Republican party is so discredited in just about anything they've said or done in the last 6 years, so now they are basicly unelectable.
I dont agree with everything Ron Paul says, I believe we need a more realistic foreign policy based on reality, not what god wispered into a leaders ear, but I also dont want Iran to get the bomb regardless the price we have to pay, as tomorows price would be unbearably high.
Ron Paul cant follow a dogma of non interferance to the extreem, as this would be no different than what we have now, but in the other direction.
Policy must be based on realism, otherwise we get " insurgency in last throes" or MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, etc etc.
I donated to Ron Paul, and am going to vote for him, but worry that because of this clusterfck, little Bush, we will be second guessing, while the same type of low lifes that hijacked our planes and cut peoples heads off while chanting their demonic prayers will get their ultimate prize, a thermo nuclear weapon...

What I don't understand, is how our Nation was soooo quick to want to impeach President Clinton when he was caught with his pants down and NO ONE is willing to outwardly question President Bush?

Is it because when anybody does question, they are immediately shut up? or shut down? Are American's truly afraid to speak out for fear that the CIA, FBI, or some other secret service comes knocking on our doors, tap our phones, etc.?

There appears to be an iron guard on this fella like no other President in history. I'm just curious to find out why he's so special? Isn't fear a form of Oppression? Are we no longer a free nation? What has become of us in 7 years?

America voted him in twice.

Go ahead and blame 1 or 2 people, but Americans took on the suicide loans, the high interest credit card debt, the stupid gas hog SUVs, the investments in American companies that pay their CEOs way too much relative to the average worker bee.

hahaha to those of you driving gas guzzling SUVs to go to the grocery store and work. they're a pain to park around, they roll, and now you're going to be paying through the nose for that stupid selfish status symbol. already seeing them on sale by people desperately trying to get rid of them.

maybe we should rethink things before we try to violently force our way of life on others. oil is going to go even higher when more people start living like US.

Clinton lied to a grand jury to corrupt justice in the Paula Jones sex harassment suit. That's why the House voted to impeach him.

As you may recall, he was also disbarred as a lawyer by the AR Supreme Court for the same reason.

This is true.

But how is it that he ever found himself in front of grand jury over such a trivial situation. This is where the republican trickery and shit leadership played its part.

And Newt got that ax he so richly deserved.

Sad indeed that the only public figure willing to put it on the line to impeach Bush has been tarred as a flying saucer nut by the Corporate Media.

People give way too much credit or blame to a president for their daily lives. In reality the president has very little influence on most Americans' lives. Sure at the margin he'll influence things. But for 95% of Americans a broom could be in the White House and it wouldn't make a difference.

I would guess 55% are mostly people in over their heads with credit card and HELOC bills. Sure blame Bush. Or blame Clinton. Or blame HP. Blame someone, anyone. God forbid anyone actually blame themselves.

Unfortunately politicans read these polls and their first reaction is "what can I do to help" which translates into "how can I waste more tax dollars".

So go ahead and rejoice at the bad Bush numbers. All it will mean is President Hillary will tax you more to make that 55% like her.

Look, I don't like Bush and never did. I saw what we were getting when he said "Dead or Alive" for Osama. Idiot. I mean dead is fine with me, I just want Pres. to be more dignified about it.

I didn't want to go to Iraq, and I did send emails to Congress and Bush cautioning against that action. Freedom Fries? Horse sh*t. Ok?

Ron Paul, however, is no fix. His foreign policy appears to be no better than Bush's. It's a mirror image of it actually. Ill conceived and the implications not thought through.

RP is a Social Conservative to the extreme. I'm as tired of Nanny Gov't Social Conservatives as I am of Nanny Gov't Liberals. We need a moderate that can pragmatically get things accomplished. If we need to have compromises, give and takes, and pragmatic politics, then let's have it.
Ron Paul? I don't think so.
Roidy
P.S. I do like RP's 2nd Amendment support though.

To Princess Monoke.... you wonder what kind of forcefield George Bush has around him that makes him free to get away with all of his crap... I'd say he's made a bunch of powerful, wealthy people more powerful and wealthy. They can buy people off, influence editors, and contribute to political campaigns. And his pandering to religious zealots like nobody's business has been a success. His wedge issues blind people to vote for him while shooting themselves in the foot many other ways (or getting their kids shot in trumped up wars I should say). Bush is Charlie McCarthy to Cheney's Edgar Bergen. We are not free, they have chipped away at so much of our civil freedoms that we can only hope it isn't too late. My question is...who are the real evildoers?

BushCo has been 50 years in the making.
Our best presidents have always fought for the common good. That's what 'good' government is all about.
When you have a government dominated by special interests, there is nothing common about it. Collapse and failure is inevitable because what's good for 'you' may not be good for most of us.
Beyond this, BushCo has to represent something like the height of gross incompetence for an administration. People knew this going into the '04 elections, but yet a slight majority still voted for him.
To the half that voted for Bush-twice. Do they really 'know' what they want? How many 'knew' Bush would be-well-Bush? Do they want democracy, a dictatorship or a theocracy? Do they know the difference?
What does this say about our country?

Problem is most of them are too stupid to see that they are becoming indentured servants and those trappings they wanted so badly have become a prison.

In the S.F. bath houses and NY City, you are right. In the rest of the country, ie outside of the far left, America hating coasts where HPers live, it's more like 50 to 60%.

Do yourself a favor and travel inland about 100 miles some time. You will be shocked to find a whole country. A country where aborting an 8 month fetus and then getting a Cafe Au Lait 10 minutes later is not seen as a constitutional right. You will discover a country where America is not always blamed first. A country where the military is respected. And you will amazingly find a country where the vision of a Hillary clinton socialist utopia is not seen as a positive.

You, like the MSM live in an isolated far, far left bubble. Try exploring a little outside of it and learn something.

---Consumes massive government aid through welfare, farm aid and other handouts but talks shit about being "independent"
---Couldn't name 1 foreign leader and is spoon-fed their reality by FOX
---Watches reality TV cause, in reality, their life is boring as hell
---Consumes all the meth, cigs and alcohol such that we pay for their medical care
---Has barely traveled 30 miles outside of their hometown
---Thinks anyone that doesn't look like them or has an accent is a terrorist
---I watch on Jerry Springer

NO THANKS. I'll stick with the coasts and the modern metropolitan areas inland. Just because ignorance and hypocracy is everywhere in rural America, doesn't mean I actually want to see it.

Is that Republican scam not a form of tax on the HONEST taxpayer? Who do you think is paying for that humongous bill and interest on the bonds from China and Japan?

You disgusting Republicans (who should have been aborted, by the way) like to create bogeyman. Do you really think that all the Bernanke bailout of Republican bankers/gamblers on Wall Street, with taxpayer money, is not a form of tax on us? Or you really think that all that money is free?

Boooo, the bogeyman tax...booo the bogeyman terrorist under your bed...booo Iran is gonna get you...booo socialists dropping from sky. Meanwhile, the Republican bankers are getting bailout with taxpayer money because they were gambling and cheating...but that's not called socialism by Republicans.

You Republican conman are pathetic. Unfortunately, this country is filled with hicks that believe in your bull$hit. Honey, git my flag and my NASCAR hat!

Now go back to do your "family values/Christian" games in public bathrooms while the rest of us carry the country on the back, Republican pervert and conman.

- Borrowing money to fund phony wars that enrich Republican crooks is a form of taxation.

This is not free money and this huge bill will come due for you taxpayers to pay with your stagnant salaries (thanks to the greedy policy of outsourcing and open borders by corporate fascists and corrupt politicians), so there you have it:

Too much disrespect going on here based on where you live.
I've lived in Southern California, and enjoyed it, if I could I would have spent more time up north, loved the bay area, napa, mendocino, very picturesqe up there.
Many people stereo type the area as way liberal, but the smaller towns are very much like small towns in the rural midwest.
I eventually moved back to my small town were I grew up in Colorado, and I couldnt be happier here.
My father is a cattle rancher, and I will be taking over the operation soon.
I find it very ignorant when big city people call us hicks and belittle our way of life, if you dont understand it thats fine, its not for you, there are a lot of benefits to a more slower casual way of life where you actually know your neighbors, and dont have to live in fear of crime, or live like sardines stacked 200 per acre.
{we have 1500 acres,4 people}
Having said that there are great benefits in living in a world class city, like LA or San Francisco, at this point in my life its just not me.
There are a lot of people here that are very angry with baby Bush, he couldnt carry Colorado if the elections were held over.
I am life long NRA member, love my AR-15's, M1A Super Match, love to reload my own ammo, love the flag, served in the Marines, till I was injured in a car accident, thats how I lived in California, Camp Pendelton.
But I dont have blind allegiance to any politician, I voted for W, the first time only, till he showed his hand for who he really was, fool me once ok, but not twice.
As a conservative how could I vote for someone who wants an open border, or ammnesty.
I may be remembering incorrectly, but the Republicans used to be for less taxes, and LESS SPENDING.
Bush invented a new way, less taxes, and spending through the roof!
And the Marine in me looks with utter disgust at the handling of this Iraq debacle, I know a few friends seriously wounded, and 2 KIA.
There is a reason Ron Paul has recieved more donations from military personel and family members than any other canidate, for you Bush disciples, look it up, and than ask yourselves why.
My buddies that are still active love him, and believe it or not he is not for this war.
Too many wackos on either side of the political spectrum, one side says 911 was an inside job, no planes involved in pentagon attack, and dynamite planted in towers, in broad view of 50,000 office workers.
The other side think Bush is the greatest thing since sliced bread, even when he has shown himself to be utterly incompetant.
The revulsion this country is having toward this administration, even here in the sticks, is going to result in another revolting scenario, Hillary our next president.
Way to go Mr. Mission Accomplished.

"The GOP will win if the Dems are dumb enough to put up Barak Hussein Obama. The core of America is not ready for a half (not) black (enough) ex-muslim for president."

We see here the desperation of the hardcore Republican/Bushbot: a false smear about religion. Even if it was true that Obama was a Muslim (it's not, moron) what would that matter in a country that allows freedom of religion?

Anonymous said...

Oh please stop the coastal vs. inland war. I was born in California and spent most of my life there. But I have also lived in Colorado, Indiana and a very small town in Oklahoma. All four places have pros and cons but all had some wonderful people. The small town in Oklahoma had the nicest people I have ever known and even though (compared to them) I was a flaming liberal we all got along. (Well, once they got over THEIR notion that as a Claifornian I most have wanted to go club-hopping and coke snorting every night.) Every place in the US has wonderful and horrible people. (The horrible people are usually the ones who disagree with you. :D)

There is a growing indifference to the problems of the world and a growing reliance on simplification as the world gets more complicated and more dangerous. I love California but am thinking of leaving - the lifestyle is not worth the cost to me. And like lots of other former Californians I will land in "flyover country" with a beautiful home and nice and not so nice people around me.

This is America. Stop hating people for disagreeing with you. If my friends can put up with the fact that I am pro-choice and pro-gun, socially liberal and extremely fiscally conservative I can put up with their choices. Stop blaming the other side for all the problems. Over the last few years Republicans have lost their fiscal responsibilty and the Democrats let them. I personallly think Bush is a bad president for a variety of reasons. But he has never done anything but what he says so it is our fault for not being watchdogs over our elected officials. Start being proactive instead of picky. And instead of tearing down candidates tell us who you like and why.

"what would that matter in a country that allows freedom of religion?"

Because a person of dark skin whether it be once Muslim or Hindu, evokes an intrinsic xenophobia. So South Asians, like Bobby Jindal, are also unelectable nationwide because people will see it as his parents (and their ethnic enclave in India) running for office than him.

The only half-black/half-white to be elected President will be a Latino-American (more likely of Cuban than Mexican descent) who looks like an Enrique Iglesias but with a more olive undertone. In other words, it'll be a person who appears more Sicilian (Catholic/White) or Georgian (Orthodox/White) than African-American like Vin Diesel who most certainly looks more Latino than Obama even though he's part black.
