December 16th, the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, is the date for the next Ron Paul Money Bomb

Oh, man, this one is gonna be even more fun than November 5th. December 16th is the day HP'ers. A money bomb for Ron Paul will explode the GOP race. Be a part of it.

Ron Paul may have raised $4 million thanks to the blogs on the 5th, but he got millions more worth of free press - he was EVERYWHERE this past week. And he's now raised as of tonight $8 million the quarter. Wow. John, Rudy and Mitt must be pissed! But just wait until December 16th. A day that will go down in US political history.

Folks, if you ever want to see the power of one individual with an idea, just look at what Trevor Lyman, who never worked for a campaign before, who isn't very political, did with a moment of inspiration and a great idea when he put up the November 5th money bomb website and banners (need more banners btw).

One man, with a great idea, which then caught fire on communities like HP, vaulted Ron Paul to the top tier of Republican candidates. Damn, that's beautiful. Wish I had thought of it! But glad to be a part of it, and I know many of you are too.

Get behind December 16th HP'ers. Go here and register. And drop the biggest bomb on the establishment you can that day.

Ron Paul 2008. It's amazing what's happening. Looks like the housing and dollar crash are (finally) waking some people up.

Conservative wildcard a hit with young voters

When ‘joke’ candidate Ron Paul raised $4m online, rivals had to take notice

TO THE front-runners in the race for the Republican nomination, Ron Paul is a joke. The Congressman from Texas is portrayed as a political outsider who once stood against Frank Zappa in the Libertarian Party primary, a barmy radical with no hope of influencing policy, much less mounting a serious challenge for the presidency.

Never mind that in seven televised Republican debates, Paul has won the online and text message vote six times, nor that his YouTube channel has more subscribers than leading Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Paul's surge no longer a surprise

"This guy has never been a conventional politician," said Dennis Simon, a political scientist at Southern Methodist University. "He stands up there at these debates, and everyone is defending the war but him. He stands out, and he seems different."

It's not just the war that is driving Paul's populist campaign. His exasperation with big government and tart denunciation of federal spending strikes a nerve with fiscal conservatives, particularly Republicans who have grown ill at ease with social conservatives' influence in the party.

With these immense successes, this Republican presidential candidate must be part of the GOP establishment and a media darling, at least on FOX, where surely they surely label him a "top-tier" candidate. Wrong on the first count. But on the second, a begrudging media has been forced to begin reporting what the rest of the country has already begun to realize.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul is for real. His tremendous momentum has unequivocally catapulted his candidacy into "tier one" territory.

Ron Paul summing it up

http://tinyurl.com/3y8ds4

"But all of a sudden that message has gotten out and has spread like wildfire - there was a vacuum sitting out there.

The war is going badly, there are more economic concerns that anyone in Washington is willing to admit, and the young people are inheriting this - they are getting a bum rap. Whether they have to go fight the war, pay for the war, not receive any Social Security - and now they hear this message of freedom and individual liberty.

They want to be left alone to make their own personal choices; their lives are their own. Let them spend all of their money the way they want. None of this income tax! Get out of Social Security if they want, bring our troops home, take care of America! Take care of our bridges here and don't blow up bridges all over the world and then pay to rebuild them.

The people have grabbed hold of this message. It wasn't like we had a grand scheme or that we had someone well known like a Ronald Reagan or that we had a lot of money. We presented our ideas, it got out, and every single day it's more so. It's way beyond my capability, so it must be the vacuum, the conditions that exist, and the message. I will never back away from the message.

Fox News will never acknowledge Dr Paul as a serious contender. Rupert Murdoch named it Fox for a reason you know, he's the fox and we are the sheep.

I was at the INDEPENDENCE MALL rally in Philadelphia on Saturday.

There were THOUSANDS of people there.

60% of the crowd was UNDER age 35.

In fact, there were large groups of college students and 20somethings. I saw logos from UPENN, DREXEL, TEMPLE, VILLANOVA and LASALLE.

There were also many veterans and many current Marines.

It was awesome. Right outside the Liberty Bell with Independence Hall, where this Nation was born in the background.

It was also a diverse crowd that had atleast 15% minority representation.

I'm Donating $500 on Dec 16th.

Should we make donations in dollars or gold certificates? By 12/16, $4M might buy you a Starbucks.

All they have to do is declare that Ron Paul is a terrorist, and all you gullible idiots sending him money will go to prison under the Patriot act for giving him financial donations.

Suckers!

Remember this.

When Ron Pual been Mitt Romney in the Nevada Straw Poll by 33% to 16% the MSNBC headline was: Romney Losses Straw Poll. The story then talks about Romney and his issues and then mentions Ron Paul only once! If you think that there are no biases in the Mass Media you are a fool. HP'ers help ron paul not just by sending money but by making sure the mass media gives him coverage. A study showed that McCain was newspapers 95,000 times and Paul only 5,000. Call your local paper, your local TV--fax them, post comments on their web site, call in to those douchebags limbaugh and hannity. Send money and spread the word.

It's time to wake America the freak up. All of the mainstream political candidates only want to continue the status quo. More illegal immigration. More destruction of the middle class. More outsourcing of American jobs. More unfair trade to destroy American-based industries. The rich will get richer with either Democrooks or Republiscams in office. Ron Paul, even though running under the R, is really an Independent. That's something Americans used to be before the political crime families took over and brainwashed the masses.

I contributed the max of $4,600 for myself and the spousal unit, who is a tree hugging commie liberal (and I'm not even a registered voter). S.U. will love the new mail that will be coming to the house. Oh well, sacrificies must be made for liberty.

Ron Paul is anti-semitic as are the Nazis who support him. You would all hide behind your "Constitutional rights" while another Holocaust happens at the hands of Islamofascists.

The Constitution is an obsolete piece of garbage. Get over it. The government needs to protect people. You Nazis belong in jail, and you will go there, too, just watch!

How on earth does Ron Paul do it? What is the man's charisma? Is the Internet driving him to success, or is it simply flexing its own muscles?

Last week, supporters outside of his campaign raised $4 million for him online. According to this news report, the World Wide Web may be taking Ron Paul for a ride. It may end up as just another online game of sorts. Or, it may end with success at the finish line for Mr. Paul, who is seeking a Republican nomination and is mustering a surprising amount of support for it.

In the real world (if we can still separate the virtual world from the real, physical one), has anyone noticed how many posters and banners supporting Ron Paul have mushroomed in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood? I notice a number of his supporters are young people, students.

To my mind, this phenomenon speaks, at one level, to the simple spectacle of the Internet. At another level, it seems like a cry to reclaim politics, to channel it away from its hidden corridors and bring it into newer portals.

Similar to the Republican race itself, site traffic to GOP candidate sites seems more topsy-turvy. After dashing past his Republican opponents and gaining the top traffic spot in September, Thompson fell to third place in October, dropping more than 24 points in traffic share. Paul stepped back into his long-held top spot, scoring nearly 40 percent of traffic share, up from around 26 in September.

The Libertarian-leaning Congressman's site also attracted nearly 40 percent of site traffic among Republican candidates back in July, when October's second ranked candidate site, MikeHuckabee.com, was in fifth place with just 8 percent share. Between September and October, Huckabee, a potential Iowa caucus dark horse, gained nearly 10 points, moving from third to second place with more than 20 percent traffic share.

Rudy Giuliani rose a couple points and two notches since September to fourth place. Mitt Romney and Senator John McCain both fell. Romney slipped from 4th to 5th place, and McCain moved from 5th to 6th; both also dipped slightly in traffic share. Congressmen Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo brought up the rear at less than 5 percent.

The GOP candidates may have benefited slightly from the mid-October dropout of Sam Brownback, though his site garnered less than 2 percent of traffic share in September.

Perhaps not surprising to political observers, right-wing Congressman Paul's Web site attracted more males and older visitors than Clinton's younger, female-heavy site audience, according to Hitwise. Around 27 percent of RonPaul.com visitors were 18 to 34, about 36 percent were between 35 and 54, and approximately 37 percent were age 55 and over in October. Seventy-three percent were male.

"while another Holocaust happens at the hands of Islamofascists."

honestly, I think you have it backwards and that's why the december 16th tea party is so important!

I heard bill clinton suggesting that the world would be a healed place without "islamofascists," whatever that means-- but it sounded like the same promise that hitler promised with the final solution.

we need ron paul because he'll get us out of the pre-world-war-2-like-sesspool that were in; george, unfortunately, seems to think like like the elite germans did, that imperialism leads to salvation-- NOT!

anyway, think about it: we needed ron paul yesterday but we'll have to wait till december 16th to let the world know, through our collective action, that ron paul was needed yesterday!

Anyone who actually thinks Ron paul would make a differnce is a sheeple.... all the politicians are corrupt and misleading... history has proven it... he may speak smooth words but ultimately he is the same as the rest don't fool yourselves... it's absolutely naive to believe he is different. Anyone smart enough to see the housing bubble can surely see this... giving up your hard earned money for any politician is rediculous go spend it on yourself you earned it... (while you can)

Ron Paul has been sticking to his principles and defending liberty and the Constitution for 30 years and has the Congressional record to prove it. If he's just like all the others then he'd have to be a very patient scam artist.

I think your logic is completely flawed. Are you saying we should just assume every single politician is totally corrupt (I agree the vast majority are) and therefore just go with the flow and vote in a Hillary or a Rudy who both have a myriad of criminal connections and scandalous histories?

What the hell are you on about? Anti-semitic because he doesn't want to waste American soldiers lives and trillions of US dollars on defending Israel from "islamo-fascists"? Give me a fucking break dude!

What do you call the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi's that have resulted from this war for oil and Israel? That sounds like a real holocaust to me but to the pro-Israeli crowd Iraqi lives don't count because they're "islamo-fascists". News flash dickhead - they're not all fucking terrorists!!

Yes yes yes! Why don't hundreds of thousands if not millions (when you count all the damage done over the decade by sanction etc...) of people WE have paid for with our TAXES to be killed count as a holocaust? It is one, make no mistake.

November 10, 2007 7:00 pm EST

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA– Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul today addressed a crowd of over 5,000 enthusiastic supporters in Philadelphia. The Veteran's Day weekend rally took place from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Independence Mall.

Hundreds of veterans and their friends and families heard country music superstar Rockie Lynne open for the Texas congressman and rising
GOP contender, Dr. Paul. John Holland, the founder of Rolling Thunder, a leading advocacy organization for troops, veterans, and POW/MIAs, delivered an enthusiastic endorsement of Congressman Paul, before the congressman addressed the crowd.

The rally coincided with the launch of the Veterans for Paul Coalition, which is composed of several hundred war veterans.

"Dr. Paul's support among veterans is extremely high," said Paul campaign spokesman Joe Seehusen. "These great patriots who have
fought for our country know that only Dr. Paul's foreign policy of peace and secure borders can guarantee true national security, and they want him fighting for our country's freedom."

Congressman Paul himself is an Air Force veteran who served as a flight surgeon in the 1960's. He receives the most campaign
contributions from former and active military and military affiliates of all the 2008 presidential candidates.

Ron Paul may be better than the rest but he is too overpowered by corrupt forces to ever accomplish any lasting good no matter what... there is not one government in history that has brought true peace and security to the people... thinking he can is just hiding your head in the sand... Everyone who comes along and tickles your ears do you believe... get real Sheeple!

Think about the irony here.

A potential presidential race where

the Democratic candidate (Hillary) was in favor of the Iraq war

the Republican candidate (Paul) was against it.

Now that would make you think you'd done some choice pharmaceuticals!
