I have an AMEX card with a 3.99% fixed for lifetime. I consolidated my debt to it. I figure with inflation running at 6% and going higher all the time, why not? I also have student loans at 4.25% along with a tax deduction on it.

So same advice to those on this board who are "shorting" the mortgage companies. Isn't shorting some kind of "borrowing"?
