HousingPANIC Stupid realtor Quote of the Day

"I'm not a real estate bum. I wear diamonds, Rolexes and necklaces. I'm a classy Realtor."

- Liz Seither, President of Executive Preferred Properties

(check out the full article HP'ers - nice to see realtors were among the biggest housing gamblers. Like crack dealers doing crack. Not a good idea.)

My ex used to love FL and the people there. This is the sort of person she wanted to hob knob around with and she was dead set on buying a condo in the area where this old skank does business(see the full aritcle - 60 plus years old and a diamond anklet?? Gross with a capital G). I so dodged a bullet not being married to someone like that anymore.

VERY ARROGANT. I write insurance and my office was in a remax office and the realators were buying toys like clasic vetts ect the manager of the office was the biggest liar I ever meet even though he wore 1000 suites to work
we did work insurance work for some of the realators they allways
were using us at the last minute I have a RE licence in florida but I knew in my gut this would end badly

Substitute the word "Whore" for "Realtor" and I have a much better understanding of her psyche.

Time to trade in the bling & the bling-machine (mercedes) for a huge supply of ramen!

"flaming orange hair . . ."

Oh, for a picture of that wench.

Wow. Just Wow.

I felt pity and sympathy for a second after reading that article. Then I said, "nah" and learned the true meaning of the word schenfreude.

Bling has nothing to do with the issue, if anything it reinforces the fact that your part of the problem!!

Dear Liz,
If you were poor, you would know it's
long past time to cash in those
diamonds, rolexes, and necklaces and
use the money to dig yourself out of
your mess or at least have money for
a lawyer, because you soon won't have
any credit..the money you have will be the money you have...no one will
extend you credit...oh, maybe the
FED will hold your mortgages and
give you a longer rope...is the FED
being part of this musical chair thing scary, or is it just me?

You either have class or you don't, you Can't buy it or act like you have it!

A True person of 'Class' doesn't have to tell you they have it!

Are you serious?

This old withered clam needs an attitude adjustment!

Equates class by way of irrational impulse purchases!

Bet ya she feels she's worth every penny of that 6%

There is some goof on the SanDiego real estate "investors" board named Smithosity whose signature is:

"Stay Classy"

Why are these real estate folks so into "classy"? I haven't really heard the word in a long time now its popping up all over.

Here is the link to the original article as it appeared in the St. Petersburg Times. The photo at the top is of Liz and a client. She's a classy broad alright.

I'm a woman, first of all. Why do women act like this? It's embarassingly irrational. I just don't get it. This is why I love men and married a great one. "Liz" should have been diligently saving her money for retirement and not wasting it on stupid crap. How much do you want to bet that this silly idiot has NOTHING saved for retirement? HERE'S WHAT I'M WORRIED ABOUT: all of the greedy, idiotic people like "Liz" who will inevitably get sick and need care. I'm tired of bailing out idiots like this!! It has NOTHING to do with Bush or politics and everything to do with stupid choices. The peak of boomers retiring hits in 2010/2012. I am so freakin' tired of cleaning up the other people's messes EVERY SINGLE TIME. Why should I have to give up even more of the 65% we probably already give our huge government to "help" people like "Liz"? Why? This chick only knows how to waste money and act superior. No morals. No common sense. She's made her bed, people! Other people suck it up and sacrifice to pay people back and move on with their lives, living to fight another day.

Pretty much anyone who uses the word "classy" has no class. Just sayin'.

That a tough deal; at 67 years old, its not like she can go back and work at the strip club like her younger former competitors are surely doing.

Pearl necklaces?

That reminds me. Hey big shot realtwhores, we HP'ers are interested in buying your Rolexes, diamonds, and other assets for pennies on the dollar. Don't be a stranger, we have lots of cash.

That's why I'm building my nest egg overseas, in an affordable paradise. Good luck to the ones staying put in this lie.

"Hey you bottom feeder you. Call Liz. Call Liz. I'm still your best Florida friend!"

"I am not a street walker whore, I am a high class lady who works for an exclusive escort service".

One thing I noticed locally are realwhores who get into the "high end" gig with 1 millon+ houses. They become "executive" realty agents and do the same work as regular real estate agents, but live off of large commissions. I wonder how they get into this gig, with their Mercedes instead of a Ford, etc. Maybe its the former cheer leader, etc, with the little bit of "deal with me and you might get lucky..."

My father was a land broker and resale agent in San Diego from 72' to 94'. He saw the highs and the very lows. Did very well for himself and did it all driving a Ford Pinto stationwagon in the early years, then a Dodge van later!
Face it, nothing says success like Pinto or Dodge!
I'm not terribly sure but I know he wore either a Timex or a Citizen watch while doing all this.
Rolex was for doctors and lawyers, while Mercedes was for the rich old ladies.

You should add Marty Donovan - and remove Liz Seither.... Fact is Liz believed in the market - our island community & invested in it.
She has been on the island over 37 years.... fact is you do not stay in business here that long if you are not good at what you do. Liz is more a victim - not a scammer.
She is still hanging in - she is a survivor. Your posting as a Real Estate Bum is HIGHLY INACCURATE.
