Happy 4th of July




While realtors, mortgage brokers, appraisers, home builders, banks, politicians, lobbyists, the NAR, investors, flippers and the mainstream media conspired to game the system and create the biggest Ponzi Scheme of all time,

While the Dems and the Reps and Faux News and the New York Times got everyone in America to hate each other, while funny enough everyone around the world hates us,

While the US Congress, bitterly divided between lobbyist-corrupted Dems and Reps, got absolutely positively nothing done for a generation,

While Wall Street financiers and unchecked immoral CEOs came up with groovy cool new ways to make money (for themselves),

While crime paid,

While the Supreme Court got hijacked by radical religious jihadists,

While Americans got hypnotized by their televisions and dumbed down by their failing education system,

While tens of millions of illegals stormed across the unprotected border,

While the US$ got more and more and more and more worthless,

While our manufacturing base withered away in an orgy of Buy-Chinese Everyday Low Prices Wal-Mart consumer spending,

While we went $60 Trillion into debt, fudged the numbers and hid M3 and nobody believed it,

While Paris Hilton got more press than hundreds of thousands of dead people in Iraq,

While musicians and actors and sports stars and other celebrities with a platform decided to go for the almighty buck versus standing up for what was right,

While we lost the right to a fair trial and the right to not be tortured by our government,

While Americans went on a debt-fueled orgy of consumer spending while not saving,

While Bush & Cheney ran roughshod over our Constitution and our liberties,

While all this was going on...........

You (we).

Let.

It.

Happen.

So, isn't it time you (we) did something about it?

Happy Fourth of July.

Wake up America.

It's getting late.

Unfortunately most people are fascists. They say things like '___ should outlawed!' and '____ should be put in prison' So thats whay we have, everything is illegal. Get caught or piss off the wrong people and go to prison. I'm talking about for victimless stuff: pot, file sharing, carrying a gun, etc! come on! let freedom ring-grow hemp.

I work at a commercial bank and today I got a call from an appraiser who needs a cash out refinance on his free and clear, now get this....CAR, not house, but on his CAR!!!!!


That's how bad things are getting, and we're getting similar requests from real estate agents and mortgage brokers. Folks, it's much worse than you know. I have inside info I can't disclose that would scare even the bitter renters here \"/

Can everyone just think about this a little? How about if we all, each and every one of us, right now, begin to practice the Golden Rule?

There is nothing stopping us from living Christ's command. It's so simple.

Love God, first and foremost.

And love your neighbor as yourself.

Stop going to church. Think for yourself. The true worshipers worship in spirit and in truth, not in a building.

Turn off your TV. Don't you realize what that thing really is? Once again, think for yourself.

Don't recognize human governments, period. There is only one government, the kingdom of God. And it's here, for anyone who wants to find it.

If we all started to do this, what a revolution that would be.

Everyone hates us because we are the only superpower. It's called envy. Nobody hates Honduras or Tajikistan because they don't give a rat's ass about those countries. Plus it's cool to hate the USA and has been since the 1970's. It's an easy way to get attention. Nobody pays attention to you if you burn the flag of Iceland or Congo. If you burn the American flag, all the media dopes show up.

Right on! The Founders new what they were doing. With all the bad news coming out of the tube even the people that don't read know something is wrong. I went out to buy a Old Smokey for the Fourth and had to go to Five Big Box stores before I Found One Down at the local hardware store. Made in USA. I hope the people at the Old Smokey factory have the day off for the fourth and will be here next year.

Hopefully when the spending orgy is over and the debt has to be repaid, U.S. citizens will confront the task at hand, to stop substisting on debt. I can't see the borrow now, pay later mentality going away in anything less than 30 years.

Me? I'm goin' norf where there is water and cold. Solar power, wind power, grow my own food while hyper-inflation clobbers the country. All my cash is going into hard assets as soon as real estate bottoms.

Long as I have high speed Internet I don't care what happens!

Things are not at a precipice actually.

Our spending orgy is being supported by the Chinese buying our bonds, lending us our own dollars.

The Chinese are savers, not consumers. Until that changes they are using us to consume the goods for their growing industrial machine. This probably won't change rapidly. While they are building up their infrastructure raw materials, like iron, copper, zinc, minerals and especially oil will get more expensive because of competition. Whoever is willing to pay more will get the goods and with the dollar losing value, we are constantly seeing higher and higher prices (more dollars) for the commodities that the rest of the world also wants.

Anything that people compete for will go up in price. Wherever there is more demand than supply we will lose out because our dollars have been devalued by the activities of the U.S. government, borrowing like a 20 year old with temporarily good credit and doing stupid things like refusing to let friendly nations spend their dollars on U.S. assets, (like managing the ports).

I suspect many on Wall Street know the party will come to a bad end but while the music plays, everyone keeps going, hoping to be the first out the back door when the cops arrive at the front.

Anyone who is honest about history and current events can clearly see that the USA is the Nazi Germany of the 21st Century. There are differences, but those are largely cosmetic with the overall political outcome. The Republic is dying and a vicious Empire (is there any other kind?) is taking over. Like boiling the frog, the transition to the Imperial form has progressed for some time.

Any learned man can pick a favorite point where the Imperial transition became unstoppable:

The Spanish-American War. The formation of the Federal Reserve. The economic collapse of the 1930s and the attempted coup (ref. Major General Smedley Butler, 1933). The reaction to European Fascism in the last 1930s. The formation of the military-industrial complex during WWII. The early Cold War. The Cold War itself. The standard use of political power against learned dissidents. The imposition of price controls and the confiscation of gold. The transition into a purely fiat and banker-contolled economy. The blatant shifting of focus after the Berlin Wall fell. The acculturation of financial fraud during the 1990s. And now, the imposition of Fascist methods via the Executive Branch.

We've been losing the Republic all along. Those who deny it are living in denial itself. As Ralph Nader's father Nathra has said, what ensures that it happens here is the widespread feeling that it "can't happen here". Our complacency has allowed the Imperial model to form around us. "Papers, please. Show us your papers."

The downward spiral of Western Civilization began in the late 19th century. We are in the death throes. There is no telling how long this period will last.

Before World War One, the mood in Europe was that western civilization had peaked.

America was younger and more optomistic and insulated from Europe to some extent.

But in the end, we are part of the decadent and dying West.

There is really nothing we can do to stop the cycle. We entered this story in medias res.

We delayed the end temporarily when we emerged as the strongest country after WWII.

But it didn't take long for history, and historical cycles, to catch up with us. It seems inevitable that we are headed for a dark age.

After 9-11-01 I put a print of Picasso's "Guernica" on my wall. I cannot think of a current artist that portrays so well the Zeitgeist of our times.

I am so sick and tired of simplistic analysis. I'm Canadian and I don't envy America. America gets to impose its standards on the rest of the world because of its strength and size. But is the US model good for Canada? I don't think so. We are not America, firts of all, we have a different geography. America's system does not account for the laws of nature.

At the end of the day, entropy will get the best of the world. Will it take a decade or a century nobody knows.

Actually, hatred of the guy in charge is simply built into the human psyche. You get to blame the U.S. for every problem in the world.

You have to put on your rational thinking cap to realize all things have pluses and minuses and the overall value of a thing depends on both.

If you removed the U.S. from the world, imagine what you'd have.

We are spinning our wheels in the U.S., spending time and effort on stupid things. Our military is only effective against armies and governments. It's helpless against a suicide, kill the innocent mentality. We are pinned down by ideology, not capability. Our government is deadlocked. Solutions die or get compromised so badly they are no longer solutions. Complexity grows until no one knows what is going on and the clever ones find loopholes in all this complexity to exploit the rest of us.

While we were busy with IPODS, Britney Spears and DOTCOMS, some other countries were grabbing reality: Oil, Metals, Natural Resources, Shipping, Chemicals, etc, things you can't reproduce with the touch of a button.

Will we recover? All countries go through cycles. Our arrogant old folk voters, midwesterners, southerners and back east powers that be who believe everything the government tells us and and believe the U.S. is always right will keep the status quo going until it collapses.

The first sacred cow that needs to be butchered is that we as Americans have a BIRTHRIGHT to prosperity. It makes it so we think the world owes us a living. That's got to end right now and people better realize they need to produce in order to be successful. No one owes you a job. No one owes you health insurance. No one owes you crap. You better get moving and make yourself useful.

You have American satellite states just as the Soviets controlled the Eastern Bloc countries. Now we are headed towards socilized healthcare where the government will tell you which doctor you can visit and what treatment you will receive. There will be no second opinion or alternative to what the government feeds you.

Am I missing the order to dress conservatively?

Are unwed mothers going to jail?

Are we having group prayers in classes in public schools?

Is homsexuality banned?

Are we levying fines on non-christians?

Are fallen away christians' families being encouraged to murder their apostate relatives?
