Vote for Ron Paul

Vote on MSNBC on last night's debate (RP running away with it, just like he did the last debate)

Then go here and rate the GOP candidates (yup, RP is winning bigtime)

Who says blogs can't make a difference? Eventually the MSM is going to have to take notice. I think faux news did, that's why they sent Hannity out to attack, and you know Rudy had that BS prepared.

Ron Paul is the only thing saving the Republicans from themselves at this point. Without him it'd be a bunch of pro-war zombies out there boring America. RP is must-see TV.
Donate here - give Ron $10. At least you did something.

if only this man could speak on television for a hour.......i bet they wouldn't even let him buy time on the networks with his own money.......they just do not want to hear what this man says...they think they can win by shutting him up and making things go the way they want them to go, just like it has been for the last hundred years, but i have news for them. it ain't going to happen.....that dog don't hunt anymore around here......either you hear the voice of the people or prepare yourselves for what comes next....there is not other way....either ron paul wins this thing or it is finished....it is ....just that simple....

How refreshing -- a courageous independent thinker. All is not lost! There is still hope for these great United States.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see Ron Paul's strong numbers in these online polls.

I first noticed him when independent economists I follow started posting links to his essays on the economy.

I just donated $25 to his campaign, and I'm considering giving a lot more.

The spin doctors are out -- TERRIFIED of Ron Paul, obviously!!!

Dennis Kucinich used to do real well in the online polls in 2004. The media picks the candidate. Unless your ready for a revolution, prepare for a big let down.

Ron Paul's adversaries had better figure out in a hurry that they should stop listening to their advisors and strategists and understand that the blogosphere is powerful and growing more powerful each day. The online polls should rattle their cages. The word is out on Ron Paul and they should be scared $h|tless if they understand what's happening.

Obviously the special interests do not support Paul as he is anti-special interest.

What corp would donate money to him when he is not going to push tax breaks and special laws for them? He is also not going to invade other countries to make Defense contractors rich.

He is president for the common man. He could win in a 3-way tie or something.

I mean look at MN- they elected Jesse The Body Ventura a pro wrestler as govenor!! Thats even crazier - its like voting for a stripper!

In comparison RP is very electable.

Sorry, but after RP's comment concerning 9-11 he just lost my vote. On top of that he then got bitch slapped by Giuliani, rightly so I may add. Lets stick to the housing bubble kids, ok?

Americans vote for who they think can win, as stupid as that sounds.

last anon on 9/11 didn't even hear RP's comments on 9/11, just the MSM spin most likely, or the words that Rudy tried to stick in RP's mouth

Watch the debate. Listen to what he said (he's right). Don't fall for the BS and spin like the 99% of Americans who do on a daily basis

Why is it that American can't take responsibility for anything? Muslims want us out of their land! And it's been like that long before 9-11.

People in this country just cling to the infantile reasoning that "they hate our freedom". We'll never be able to have a grown-up debate in this country and that's why Ron Paul has no chance.

If a bully finally gets his ass kicked does he run around like he did nothing to provoke it?

Limbaugh: I have power to choose GOP nominee

Says Ron Paul has snowball's chance, accuses campaign of spamming polls

Rush Limbaugh, the most-listened-to radio host in the U.S. and America's No. 1 voice for conservatism, says he alone has the power to choose the 2008 Republican nominee for president at this point, but he's avoiding pushing one candidate over another so as not to sound like a "cheerleader."

Limbaugh's remarks came today during his analysis of last night's GOP presidential debate in South Carolina, as a caller urged Rush to throw his support behind Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, as the caller claimed Paul was the most conservative of the field of candidates.

"I don't think Congressman Paul has a snowball's chance," Limbaugh said.

"You have the power yourself to make him the Republican nominee," the caller responded.

"That is very true, and that is why I must exercise this power responsibly, not as a cheerleader," said Limbaugh, "which is why I'm not picking a name right now. I alone have the power to move the [Republican] base."

Rudy Giuliani v. Ron Paul, and Reality

The Nation -- Rudy Giuliani made clear in Tuesday night's Republican presidential debate that he is not ready to let the facts get in the way of his approach to foreign policy.

The most heated moment in the debate, which aired live on the conservative Fox News network, came when the former New York mayor and current GOP front-runner angrily refused to entertain a serious discussion about the role that actions taken by the United States prior to the September 11, 2OO1, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon may have played in inspiring or encouraging those attacks.

Giuliani led the crowd of contenders on attacking Texas Congressman Ron Paul (news, bio, voting record) after the anti-war Republican restated facts that are outlined in the report of the The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States.

But congressman did not back down, and for good reason. Unlike Giuliani, the Texan has actually read the record.

The 9-11 Commission report detailed how bin Laden had, in 1996, issued "his self-styled fatwa calling on Muslims to drive American soldiers out of Saudi Arabia" and identified that declaration and another in 1998 as part of "a long series" of statements objecting to U.S. military interventions in his native Saudi Arabia in particular and the Middle East in general. Statements from bin Laden and those associated with him prior to 9-11 consistently expressed anger with the U.S. military presence on the Arabian Peninsula, U.S. aggression against the Iraqi people and U.S. support of Israel.

+++
There's a great deal of truth in that, it's not stupid. People want to be associated with a winner.

But maybe, just maybe, a guy like Ron Paul can pull it off. He's very smart, and he might even be so smart that he can figure out a way to not let his smarts work against him. However, if some major character flaw is revealed, he is toast. He is fighting against the odds. People do overcome the odds at times. I know three people personally who were told by doctors they'd be dead in a matter of months, but have lived for years, with more vitality than many of you reading this blog, I'm sure. THEY BEAT THE ODDS. Ron Paul could, too.

Anonymous said...

Funny -- Limbaugh's extreme statements about how HE controls who becomes the Republican nominee could turn out to work very much in Ron Paul's favor.

Anonymous said...

"I just donated $25 to his campaign, and I'm considering giving a lot more."

I gave $25.00 last time and $125.00 this time.

Primarily because "for us to win" we have to be Ron Paul's "gift horse" or else the media will ignore him.

The right-wing churches survive only because the right-wing invest in them and bush gives out "faith based" rewards to hate-mongers.

So, given the incomes that people claim to have, shooting at $100+ should be a no-brainer and nothing to sweat.

He will get his chance to, I'm sure of that.

Let's hope, REALLY hope, he makes the best of his opportunities.

Anonymous said...

"Sorry, but after RP's comment concerning 9-11 he just lost my vote."

but a big donation from he. ron paul successfully turned around bush's bullshit line of "if we don't go over there, they'll come here" and it made a lot of sense.

many of us think that "if we go over there, they'll come over here" because that's what happens during a war.

"Dennis Kucinich is not Ron Paul -- let's get THAT straight right now."

I spent hours on the kucinich campaign and, as much as I admire the man, he has trouble activating people and getting the right people working in the right spots.

so far, in my opinion, Ron Paul has a team which is on top of things and isn't all about sentimentality and activism. they look level headed and like a family.

Ron Paul is the only honest candidate out there. I wish he could become President, but I don't think that will ever be allowed to happen. If the "Powers That Be" can't stop him with their controlled MSM, the will stop him the same way they stopped JFK. Ron Paul is risking his life for his country! He must know this.

I guess that makes him honest, smart, and BRAVE.

So if we left Saudi Arabia today according to Ron Paul al-qaeda would fold up shop, go home and leave us all alone.

Sure thing Ron.

Anonymous said...

Oh wait I forgot there is no al-qaeda and no such thing as terrorism according to the HP crowd.

Anonymous said...

Anybody that is bashing the 911 comment obviously isn't listening to what Paul says, rather what Rudy and MSM claim he said. Be smarter than that people.

Anonymous said...

Let's suppose by some miracle Ron Paul gets the nomination. No way he wins a general election. Remember 50% of Americans pay $0 income tax. That 50% will never vote for someone who says he wants to eliminitae the IRS since there's nothing in it for them. That 50% will as usual vote for the guy (or gal in this case) who will promise them the most stuff for free, ie social security, medicare, "free" health care, "free" prescription drugs, etc.

people like limbaugh, hannity, savage.....etc........they all work for the same people.......globalist is the term i hear batted around. they are bought and paid for shills whose only jobs are to fill the airwaves with nonsense everyday..they act as pressure relief valves for the angry voices of the people who are tired of this crap coming out of washington..i know....i used to listen to them all......i used to hang on every word they said........then one day, i woke up.....i cannot explain how it happened or why...but it did.....and my life has never been the same since....now i see clearly...the blinders that controlled my vision for so long fell off......the ear plugs that were in my ears for so long that prevented me from actually hearing what is said, fell out......i understood how this world works, as if in a instant.......it became all so clear to me....for so long i searched and wondered......why......why is it, we continue to vote and nothing good ever comes out of it..why......why is it things always seem to get worse no matter who is in office......yes i know now why these things happen...i truely know......

someone said above......all is not lost.....

let me tell you something my friend.....you are correct....all is not lost ......yet......

but today i went for a long bike ride and as i was riding i looked around and noticed things that perhaps others do not notice......

you know what i see.?

i see fat and lazy retired people playing golf and farting around....i see them living off of their mutual fund investments, living in their 500k retirement homes...and acting like they do not have a care in the world.

what i am telling you is this...these same bastards will one day be scratching their heads and wondering what happened to them and what happened to this country as their little worlds collapse....they have slept on the job for a very long time, and perhaps they do not care now......they have it made, or so they think......they are fat and sassy and so what ....about that damn war........it is always someone else's kids who are dying now........but when those mutual funds blow up and they are fleeced like the sheep that they are.....well all bets will be off then......and they will come to anon and say....why didn't you tell me about all of this and give me something to eat for i am hungry......

my answer to them will be two fold......

i told you and you didn't listen.
and you must leave now or i will kill you...

and so it will be soon in this country....perhaps some of you may not believe this.....but i see it coming.....food and water will be scarce....the money will be worth nothing.....this is our world soon.....

and what of the golf players and lazy retired folks.........well what of them? hmmm.......where will they be?

ladies and gentlemen, the time for talking is almost over now....this government does not listen to us nor do they care about us..the people who we elect are traitors almost to a man....they are cheapy bought and cheaply sold....they are relying on us not doing anything out of the ordinary......you know, just bitch and go on.

this is not acceptable anymore to many.

i predict they will cheat ron paul out of this thing. on that you can be sure.....and therefore as they cheat him, they cheat us.......again...

folks, the rebellion is coming....get ready......

well the dirty little secret out there is that the arabs had absolutely nothing to do with 911. how could they? to carry this out, you would have to have a level of complexity at your fingertips, that arabs do not access to...

so if the arabs did not do it, then who did.???? perhaps the answer lies with the dancing israelis....oh my...

ron paul knows this but he cant talk about it....but he knows.......i can assure you there is no way this guy thinks that a bunch of arabs carried this suicide mission out......no way...

>>>People in this country just cling to the infantile reasoning that "they hate our freedom". We'll never be able to have a grown-up debate in this country and that's why Ron Paul has no chance.<<<

This type of reasoning is comforting. It makes one feel that WE AMERICANS can end all of this scary terrorism stuff if we just adopt an anti-war, anti-Bush agenda. But there is no mention of us converting to Islam or the FACT that these terrorists have demanded we do so. Yea, it sounds nuts to think that Osama and Co. want 300 million Americans (and other Westerners as well) to convert, but this is what these lunatics want. Are they being realistic? OF COURSE NOT!!! They're friggin' nut-job terrorists!!!! Of course they're not realistic, but they are dangerous and they are not going away b/c we vote for Ron Paul or Hillary Clinton or Mitt Romney, or anyone else. They're not hung up on Republican/Democrat like we are; they hate ALL Americans.

Ron Paul is an idealist. He lives in a dream world and wants to reverse 100 years of the global economy. He may make a fine president in the movies, but we need a more pragmatic leader, a leader who is principled but still accepts the realities of the world.

No Shit.

That and a little puddle called the Atlantic ocean might hamper their efforts.
What are they going to do paddle over here in dinghy's?

I was in the first gulf war. Navy. These clowns would suicide run a destroyer in a dinghy full of bombs. The Marines would light em up w/.50cal at 300 yds. Toast.

They are absolutely NO threat unless you are in their neighborhood.

I am for the war, if war is what we prosecute. This is not a war. We are using our boys lives to help the islamists to train tactics.
If we are not carpet bombing and flying our flag, then we don't go.
If we find ourselves in a "political action", we leave.
Simple.

For example, Kerry was the back up for Bush. Both are Skull & Bones members. That's why Kerry never put up a fight against the boat thing and other attacks. He was supposed to lose, as planned by the Secret Society, which is composed by members of the Skull & Bones from Yale University. It's all rigged, my friend sheeple.
