I wonder if Suzanne got kicked-back to sucker these sheeple into a negative-am, interest-only option ARM on a house they couldn't afford?

Yun, a worthy successor to Liarreah. He appears to attempt the scientific word bamboozlement technique as opposed to David's hemming and hawing with fingers and toes crossed methods. "stabilizing in a broad cyclical trough and moving in the right direction" -drools-

I get goosebumps every time I watch that. "This house is special John", you little wussy!

Realtors are our friends.

Sadness in the air here in SD - just biked past "The Yacht Club" out in Pt. Loma - big condo conversion - developer is trying to unload the last 5 or so with huge signs on every block - "Massive Price Reduction". . .meanwhile the sheeple who bought there - literally every third window had a "for sale" or "for rent" sign posted. Can you imagine buying a condo for 600K only to have the on-site developer sell your similar unit for 499??? Wonder if Suzane reseached THAT???

A fat beer gutted spineless slob married to a screaming materialistic bitch. I know a couple just like them. Up to their eyeballs in debt, no sex in months, an empty shell of a life.

From MarketWatch:

NAR President Pat V. Combs said in a statement that the flattening in home prices is encouraging.

"It appears the worst of the price correction is behind us," she said. "More stable home prices and declining mortgage interest rates are increasing buying power, which should encourage potential buyers who've been on the sidelines."

NAR's senior economist, Lawrence Yun, also took an optimistic view of the report. "Essentially, we see that the existing-home market is stabilizing in a broad cyclical trough and moving in the right direction," he said in a statement.

TCPVC and TCLY?

Is it any wonder why his life expectancy is so much shorter than hers? Guess whose responsibility it is to make sure the bills are paid while she stays home to take care of the kids?

(Who is going to be the genius and point out the 1 in a 1000 Mr. Mom role?)

There is something really quite disturbing about that advert. Not being familiar with the series (now I understand the Suzanne references though!), it wasn't light and fluffy like most real estate stuff... this was hard core psychological intimidation. Enough to put one off both marriage and buying a house! Love all the hot buttons - kids, schools - yep, never mind if you can't afford it or you'll be living on the edge for 30 or 40 or 50 years so you can be a 'home owner'.

Great advertisement for staying a bachelor.

Suzanne won't be returning their calls when they default later this year. Also the kids will have a hard time going to a good school, or for that matter any school at all when they're homeless. But hey at least Suzanne got her 6% for partially filling a few pages of paperwork and suckering in two losers that don't deserve money.

So I guess it's all good.

Yuck the worst wife in the world and a disgusting real estate agent...

What Suzanne neglected to mention was that the "research" she did was surfing the web to set up a vacation to Tahiti, which she is going to take once she gets her commission on this sale.

I feel sorry for John. His pushy wife will no doubt blame him when they are drowning financially, and make him go get a second job. No vacation to Tahiti in his future.

I had to watch that thing three times; it's like a train wreck. I'm not sure I've ever seen an ad that has so turned me off of the product that it's selling.

Nothing like watching a tubby eunuch getting slapped around by a sneering idiot of a wife... oh yeah, makes me want to sign right up!

You being from Boston would make that assenine conclusion.

God - thats as funny as the first time I saw it - it never gets old.

That ad makes me thank God for my wife. She may not be Milton Friedman (thak God for that too), but neither is she a greedy, have-it-now financial moron.

Men, never marry a woman who is financially irresponsible. Make it a priority in your serious relationships, just like any other value.

Women, never marry a fat p#$$y who will trust Suzanne more than he will trust himself.

This is a post from agentsonline.net blog:

Stated income loans are for people who actually make the money but may have multiple businesses and investments, excellent credit and do not want to take the time to pull all of this years paperwork together to get a mortgage.

If they do not make sufficient money to qualify and you counsel them to "state" that they do its loan fraud and you can go to jail with them if they get caught! And they are working diligently to catch people in that trap. I had a client who lied and got caught and they had to pay the taxes on the income they "stated" or the loan would have foreclosed. Fortunately their mother was able to lend them $18,000 to pay it.
-----------------------------------
The IRS should investigate every liar loan out there and give the offenders the option of paying taxes on their stated income or face fraud charges.

Hey it's a way out without going to jail. And the proceeds go to a "good" cause.

That couple does not have a healthy relationship. The wife is, if not downright domineering and bullying, at least "pushy". The resolution was for chubby hubby to cave in against his best instincts.
In a loving relationship, you compromise, such as: countering Suzanne's biased "research" with a a reality check (from HP!), then, if the neighborhood is so hot, rent there. Agree on criteria for when it will make sense, based a little on emotion and a lot on the market, to buy. A win all-around.
I hope that's not a female-bashing read of the scenario. It's a poorly-done commercial, along the lines of commercials that are tone-deaf to women (less common these days).

Question: We all know what the American dream is - does anyone know what the Canadian dream is?

(With gentle patriotic humming of the Canadian anthem in the background)

The Canadian dream is a big dream. One which ecompasses all peoples of all faithes. Where everyone has a place under the sun. And above all, it's....

Ah screw it...

Just pass me a beer and switch to the hockey game on the boob tube.

Canadians are realists. It's the Americans which came up with such wonderful and wacky ideas like "Manifest Destiny".

That's why we had to bitch slap you back in 1812.

T'ain't no bother tho! As long as you keep suckin back that Alberta oil.

Suzanne RESEARCHED this! And just what did that fu*king bitch research?

Which loan product would generate the biggest kickback for her?

Where to get the highest phony appraisal?

How much to exaggerate her victim's income on the liar's loan application?

Or "American exceptionalism" what ever the hell that is supposed to be. Maybe the ivory tower version of "it's different here."

Is that the same actress who plays the wife of the guy that can read thoughts on the tv show "Heroes".

She must have on her resume "specializes in playing the part of the bitchy demanding complainer who rags her husband all the time".
