A time capsule of the greatest financial mania in the history of mankind, told in real-time by regular folks and patriots. May future generations better understand the madness of crowds, and how power and money corrupt.

I think it's time for another Presidential Medal of Freedom!
I agree everyone gets a medal for reaching new levels of incompetence, let's be proud of our stupidity.
Remember:
War = peace
Debt = Wealth
Outsourcing = Good
I think its time we bum rush the White House and remove the stench that lies in it's walls.
Our Founding fathers would have strung up this bunch for public display if it were the 1700's again.
The problem with todays society is they are all to busy buying things and worrying about gas prices..what about the country we live in..this administration has bankrupted our country to the point of no return..and morons comment on this board like its no big deal.
Your right it is no big deal you still have a job...wait a few years down the road when jobs will be tuff to come by, and a loaf of bread will be $5...ya no big deal.
Dick Cheney likes to be a tough guy... just wait til he faces his record in the history books. He'll run away as fast as he can to Dubai and Haliburton.
This situation is going to be sooooooo bad by 2008 Barney Frank will get elected president.
Woolfie will be out by next week
Borkafatty is alive!
Cheney's permanent sneer is a source of amazement (and worry) to me. What's it like to view the world with contempt. I guess it makes it easier to send someone elses children into battle.
Did anyone catch former president Clinton on Larry King live last night? Love him or hate him (I'm more just disgusted by the narcissism necessary to cheat on his wife and his country), it makes you remember what it's like to listen to a President who can string to sentences together with skill and forsight.
If I had one wish it's that Hillary would stay in the Senate. Why anyone would want to take over the coming train wreck is beyond me.

I can't figure out why anyone would want to succeed Chimp Bush in office either? The mess he is leaving behind is staggering. I predict it will be at least 20 years before another Republican can win the Oval Office again.
I expect someday soon those pictures will be America's "most wanted" and hanging on the Post Office wall.
No matter how bad Bush is, I'll still prefer him over 99% of Democraps.

Who cares?????
Ill be retired, and living the high life in Mexico by then.

Yes Clinton was a narcissist. But all politicians are. Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Reagan and Bush Jr. were as narcissistic as Clinton, only Carter and Bush Sr. less so. Bush Jr, for Christ sakes, thinks that he is literally the physical manifestation of Gods will during the end times.
As for marital infidelities, large number of every day Americans have cheated on their wife and the Republics can’t seem to find anyone to nominate that hasn’t. Not saying that cheatings a good thing, but whole Lewiski thing was a concentrated effort by Republicans and the main stream media to bring down Clinton in any hypocritical or absurd way they could.

I guess I am just out of touch but to me it was more than just "cheating". Cheating on your wife is a personal thing, it speaks volumes about your character and your relationship with your wife. Other than that, no law broken, i say.
It was the lying that got me riled up. Also, she was a subordinate though not directly under his management but still. I would be fired without getting to pass go for pulling the same shit at my job. Stunned that NOW still supported him after all it was out.
Oh, also the part when he was getting a hummer while talking to some other head of state or was it someone from congress.
AIN'T A NAPPY HEADED HO IN THE BUNCH!
I wise man told me:
Judge a man by the peers he keeps.

I agree.
The lid will blow in Jan '09. I only wish Rpublican Rudy will be there in make-up and in a dress. He could be our first female pres....
bread is $5 a loaf.

I remember the day when people knew the difference between "to", "too" and "two."
Whenever Bush had the choice between
a) doing the right thing, choosing the right person, or being on the side of normal people
or
b) being an asshole
can you remember ONE SINGLE TIME that (a) beat (b)?
I can't.

Mexico huh! on the beach ya sure... More like standing in the Walmart parking lot saying "Carriage Essay" Yup High life indeed.
And pardon my Ignorence on the $5 loaf of bread..I am not a shopper ..matter of fact I hate it..I just give the wife the cash and dont ask questions...Plus I am a cheap bastard hahahah!
Birds of a feather flock together
$5 load of bread, is that a lot? Last time I went grocey shopping I think Clinton was still fucking the fat chick with the blue dress
Given that a sandwich at chain restaurant is $7 or $8, a $5 loaf of bread seems reasonable
>>>Our Founding fathers would have strung up this bunch for public display if it were the 1700's again.<<<
There's a lot of flag burning Hippies that would have had our Founding Father's ire as well. The Gun Control crowd probably wouldn't be too popular w/ these armed revolutionaries, either. The Hate America crowd on our Left wouldn't have lasted too long in the late 1700's, either.
Where the f**k is Rumsfeld on your Bush-mobile of disaster?
I know. You didn't want to overload us.
Thanks.

The Sexual Harrassment laws we have apply to all. Clinton was being sued for sexual harassment and lied in a sworn deposition about sex in the workplace, which any attorney will tell you is going to be relevant in a S-E-X-U-A-L H-A-R-A-S-S-M-E-N-T L-A-W-S-U-I-T!!!!
I'm not entirley against these laws, but I think we'll all admit that these issues frequently become a Witch Hunt in many American workplaces. Apparently many think that these little spider traps should just be for the working man. I say let our lawmakers and leaders feel the sting as well.
Maybe they were all competent until Bush got a hold of them?
"What's it like to view the world with contempt."
I believe the term used by Skull and Bones for those not in the group was "savages."
Bush League America.
This white house proves one of two things: A) specially trained, uniquely experienced people are about 1% more effective in their area of expertise than, say, the average moron. B) the powerful only care about their own agenda, which is more power and dirty money.
Next time we should just hire the average moron for 6$ an hour. I voted for Bush once (but only in the general election); I hope I am forgiven at Saint Peter's gate. I hope future generations of Americans can forgive me too.
Yes, it will be much better when Hillary wins in '08, the White House is staffed by angry lesbians, and guys like Harold Ickes are running DHS.
This country is devolving into an ungovernable gaggle of pussy-whipped men, neurotic single women, and medicated minivan moms.

Funny but I largely agree with your sentiments.
But......PLEASE.....DON'T GIVE UP. We have alternatives beyond dummy neocons and dummy lipstick liberals. How about hoping for an independent, an actual conservative (and I am not talking about another Jesus complex redux), or just about anyone resembling the great leaders (Dems or GOPers) of days gone by.
We are the ones that are damm. Never in history such a few people succeeded to scam such a lot of people for such a long time, 2 terms. they are lol all the way to the next elections, they have enough money in their dish.
wonder what a Ross
perot redoux would look like???
