The two biggest hypocritical liars and losers that started the new milennium.
All true consevative Republicans should be embarrased and apologize big time. If not...time for the idealogical fanatic right wing faggots to join the military, shut up, suit and go to Iraq to fight for Bush, the corporations and Israel.

NeoCons are LIBERAL Republicans. that is them. They are to the left of JFK. and the Democrats are to the left of the left of BushCo.

All corrupt. God save our country.

Can we get a true patriot, who will save us before we are MrChina's sissy boy?

Bush rating at Nixon-level low
23/01/2007 17:15 - (SA)

Al-Qaeda deputy mocks Bush

'I can call Bush a terrorist'

Bush rejects pullout timetable

Iraqi PM 'told US to withdraw'

Bush has 'damaged the world'

Hillary rejects Bush plan

Al-Qaeda predicts US defeat

Troops 'will go home in coffins'

'Worst blunder since Vietnam'

Washington - US President George W Bush is more unpopular than any US president since Richard Nixon, who resigned in disgrace in 1974, according to several polls out Tuesday.

A CBS News poll has Bush's overall popularity at just 28% - a record low - with 64% those polled disapproving his performance.

Don't worry - we will figure out how to blame the democrats for everything now that they are back in power...!

In a few months, he'll run against whatever Congress proposes and his numbers will go back up, probably to the 40-45% range. Right now you're seeing the Congressional-honeymoon phase in the polls. Then, presidential campaign politics will kick in, and those idiots will make even Bush look more palatable.
And please don't mistake Bush for a 'conservative'.

Don't ask me to feel sorry for Dubya and Cheney. Our country came perilously close to a dictatorship while their ridiculous policies were fashionable and the Republicans goose-stepped after them. Maybe America, now that Congress is under control of the Democrats, will have a chance to undo some of our country's impending disasters brought on by the policies of the Neoconservatives and the rest of the right-wing fundamentalist extremists....

Anon 9:40

Exactly. The imbeciles that voted for Nancy and Co. have no idea what they have got themselves into. All Bush has to do is veto one or two tax increases and his popularity will jump 15%.

Anon 9:49,

The very fact you can freely spout your stupidity without any fear shows that you're a complete moron. If this were a true dictatorship like you liberal fucknuts keep saying it is, you'd be in jail or dead...you know like they do things in Cuba, N. Korea, China or in your old pal's Iraq.

It would be tough for these two to have done a worse job

Hmmm is this the same CBS that forged Bush's national guard docs? Yea real credible indeed. Unlike say LA Times poll at 39% or Rasmussen at 40%. Nah, the 28% by Dan Rather's CBS is a better story.

Obviously a group of welfare collecting socialists here. My taxes were cut signifcantly thanks to Bush. I make a lot more today than I did in 2000. I make more, pay less in taxes and therefore am happy. So go on kep bitching about Bush, I've heard it all before and it's getting pretty boring.

I don't give a rat's ass about Iraq or any pesky crap that you people are so fixated on like China or illegals. These are non-issues to most Americans with the exception of paranoid white middle aged men such as yourselves. Get over it. China is a superpower and Mexicans are here to stay. Don't like it, tough shit, those are facts that are here to stay. Your constant crying won't bring back the 1950s.

KEIF,

At what point did your blog about housing turn into a dailykos rip off?

If I want Bush bashing all I have to do is turn on CNN, ABC, PBS, CSBS, MSNBC or read any major newspaper in the US except the WSJ.

Dude, stay on topic or you'll become just another Bush hate machine which is fine if that's your thing, but instead of a uniqye kind of place you'll be nothing special.

I'm not trying to defend the Bush admin because that would be beyond my abilities, but the picture below your "Failure" headline should be of the American people (minus those of us who rent). Saying Bush is responsible for the state of the housing market is like saying Hoover was responsible for the increase in drunkenness after prohibition was lifted. Although Bush deserves plenty of ridicule, its the American people who have dispensed with common sense, gotten drunk at the get-rich-quick housing party, and ABUSED fiscal policies that were intended to give a jolt to a receding economy...not to allow middle income families to purchase $800K houses. All politics aside, it is WE who are to blame.

WAAAA!!! I can't afford a house! WAAAA!!! It's George Bush's fault! WAAAA!!! It's no fair! WAAAA!!! Why do I have to rent for the rest of my life! WAAAA!!! Vote for Hillary, she'll give us everything! WAAAAAAAA!!!! What a bunch of whiny-ass crybabys.

China just shot down an old satellite. Take a guess which administration sold them the missle technology.

Take care, thank you for paying my mortgage, all you renters.

"Is there precedent for the leader of a Country to be Mad???"

Yes. His name was Nero, though he led an empire rather than a country. You also could include Josef Stalin in the 'mad' category.

What some people (28%) fail to grasp is that the failure, incompetence and corruption of the Bush administration is DIRECTLY TIED TO THE LATE GREAT HOUSING PONZI SCHEME.

It was on their watch that this monster grew unchecked. And it was Bush who actually CHEERLEADED the bubble with his stupid "ownership society" - encouraging the poor to buy houses at the VERY TOP OF THE MAKRET.

Get it? It all goes together my friends.

Here are the GOP talking points if you didn't get your copy yet:

The President is exuberant and determined. The President will tackle the big topics in an innovative and bold way that will capture people's imagination.

The President is also going to address another question many Americans have – whether their leaders in Washington can work together. The President realizes there's an outcry to get things done, and believes both parties can find common ground without either party compromising its principles. The Democrats' reaction will be a test of their imagination, determination, and political courage.

The President will present bold new proposals on health care and energy.

The President will continue to insist that schools provide opportunity for rich and poor alike.

The President will talk about immigration in a visionary way that should unite both parties.

It's clear that the United States strategy and operations in Iraq can only be sustained and achieved with the support of the American people and with a level of bipartisanship in Congress. Since the President announced the new way forward last week, we have seen violence against Americans – but we have also seen important actions by the Iraqis on military, political, and economic fronts. The Iraqis are taking action against both Sunni insurgents and Shia militias.

WELL THE REAL OR PALEOCONSERTIVE AKA CLASSICAL LIBERAL says, YOU are a sissy boy for NOT ONLY NOT wanting to talk politics (takes balls, i know), but you also lack the brain capacity to realize that, YES INDEED politics IS connected to the housing bubble.

IN FACT.... POLITICS, THE POLITICOS, AND THEIR CRONIES CAUSED THIS DAMN HOUSING BUBBLE.

But I think Keith's point is, depsite the fact that those politicos caused it, they will keep eating steak and lobster, while joe sixpack is thrown out in the street because he reached a little 'too far for the once real, now fake, American dream.

...and just for humor, if you saw the State of disUnion speech, did you notice how fat-faced all the politicos were.... IT'S FROM EATING ALL THAT STEAK AND LOBSTER AND CHIVAS REGAL ON THE ROCKS WITH LOBBYIST SCUMBAGS ALL WEEK LONG.

AND, btw, NeoCons and NeoLiberals(mainstreamMedia/DNCtypes) are two wings of the same birds.... both socialist leaning or alterior motivated facists.

First, let's be clear and honest. These two did not create the housing and credit bubble that this blog was created to discuss. Second, their singular error in the war on terror (poet and didn't even know it - HA) was an underestimation of the consequences of invading and occupying Iraq and ignoring or denying the error for far too long. This error will cause them to be remembered for this event just as Nixon was remembered for Vietnam though he didn't create the problem there (JFK and LBJ did) and actually disengaged there during his presidency. Bush is not a conservative in the true sense of the phrase and neither is Cheney. They are a product of a class of Americans who were baptised in the corporate waters and who are "group think" and consensus builder types of leaders and not truly independent thinkers. The Democrats are much the same and in my estimation, missed out on an opportunity in 2008 by distancing themselves from Howard Dean too soon. He not have had a much better showing than Kerry in 2004 but at this point - with the "I told you so" factor and his track record in Vermont, he would have been a shoe in (IMHO).

It all makes sense now! Renters = liberal democrats.

-I dicked around in high school and didn't go to college. Now I make $12 an hour assembling widgets and my job is off to China any day. It's Bush's fault.

-I'm too poor to buy a house, must be Bush's fault. I was also too poor to buy a house during Clinton but doesn't matter, it's still Bush's fault.

-I'll be renting my decrepid 1 bed/1bath apartment for the rest of my life. It's Bush's fault.

-The great housing crash that Keith keeps yapping about is not happeing. San Francisco, LA, NY are all up YOY. All Bush's fault.

-Bush only likes rich people that's what CNN tells me. And they are right. Despite the fact that I pay no income tax to begin with due to my mediocre income, Bush didn't give me a tax cut. Therefore he hates poor people.

-Mexicans are to blame for everything. It's Bush's fault they are here, even the millions who came here during the 8 years of St. Bubba Clinton. It's still Bush's fault.

Here's a thought: instead of bitching about your shitty life and blaming Bush, Mexicans, REIC, Greg Swan, China et al, get off your asses and do something with your lives (aside from posting on blogs all day that is). Trust me you'll be much happier.

"Ownership society" was more Larry Kudlow though Bush said it louder.

As for America, think British Empire 1914. Who would have thought that in the following 60 years that the entire thing would fall to shreds? Or perhaps it's really 1945, with a great deal of damage already in the mix with only twenty years left till the deterioration. Realize, with the loss of Bahrain in 1971, the British Empire went from controlling much of the world's continents (sans South America) to being the protector of Hong Kong, Macau, Gibraltar, and the Falkland Islands.

I busted my ass in high school, Ivy League college, hard science PhD, fellowship awards, prestigous university (but soft money) position, yadda yadda yadda.

Now I make $0 an hour with $1k+ a month health insurance costs (soon to expire anyway) busting my ass for two years trying to get contracts and proposals and jobs (not one call back).

And yes science and engineering jobs ARE going to India and China---when the economy is going ""well"". What happens when there's a recession?

And yes, it is the hypercapitalist globalist Republican ideology which is at the core of this economic system, with US tycoons having the same class interest as Chinese tycoons.

To the right wing know nothingists: go Dick Cheney yourself.

Hey Bush douche.

I'm a long time commited renter that has more money in my checking account than your entire net worth. You need to work 3 lifetimes to get where I got in 20 years.

This is probably truer than many of us want to admit. If you want to get ahead in life, dump the bong, take a bath, brush your teeth, clean your home, delete the porno, and do something to improve YOURSELF. You can't change anybody else, and exaggerating his or her faults doesn't make yours go away.

Evidently you did not catch VA. Senator Webb's Democratic response to the SOTU speech. Perhaps you should take your own advice and do something with your life besides posting on blogs to berate others with a legitimate beef (IMHO). P.S., you don't seem very happy given your style of writing so I'm on the reluctant side about trusting your advice about how to go about pursuing happiness.
