Print those dollars folks! We need more!

Keith, you can't honestly think that bush thought up this whole war to "git the guy that tried to kill ma daddy" can you? What about perle, feith, wurmser, bolton and all the other blood-lusting jewish neo-cohens that have been pimping this thing since before they took office? What about the blood-lusting jews at AIPAC? This is a 100% jewish war for the jews in israel plain and simple. It's just a bonus for them that several thousand American goyim have been slaughtered on top of the Iraqis.

Honica take your jew bashing paranoia somewhere else

Yes, Bush, the dumbest guy in the room, did it to avenge his daddy

Welcome to America, 2006

Oh, man, Saddam swings by a rope tonight. Amazing. Never thought I'd see the day.

Anyone around when Mussolini got tied up?

It's been awhile since we murdered a head of state, eh? And even longer since a state murdered their own former leader (remember the Chaucheskus in Romania? but that was by the hands of the crowd, no?)

The hanging will be interesting. It's the reaction in the sunni world that's REALLY interesting I think

Anonymous said...

If that's the case then Dubya better hope Chavez doesn't have a son. What goes around comes around.

Is this really happening? It's just a bad dream right?

Sure, his academics got him into Yale, not the fact his dad and grandfather had gone there and he was a legacy admission. He got a Gentlemen C average... how'd he get around the waiting list for the 'champagne division' of the Air National Guard during Vietnam to fly a plane unusable for the Vietnam theater? Made millions in business? The case has been made he was a failed businessman and politics were his saving grace.

But alas, look what his brilliance has done:

W's great leadership in two great victories. How many pr blunders has he made along the way? Immediately after 9/11 he called for a crusade. What a time to bring up a reference to the European Christians mission into the Holy Land and all the lives lost in the endeavor - way to speak in terms of turning things into a bigger conflict. Or was it just a Freudian slip?!? Then there was "Mission Accomplished" and the fly boy photoshoot. Got to wonder how much that stirred sentiment on the Arab street Bush regarded them all as a pushover? But alas it was a premature celebration as the real fighting/war had hardly begun... Then came "Bring it on!", when the prez actually encouraged attacks on U.S. troops by insurgents in Iraq. [Thanks prez!] W made an attempted explanation of he's sometimes prone "to big Texas speech" to meander his way out of that one. How he remained Commander-in-Chief after such a blunder is a mystery... Then there's been the Abu Graib fiasco... all of which have been covered by Al Jazeera, the Arab cable news channel broadcast across the Middle East. These events have created no shortage of volunteers who've come to Iraq to fight the United States. Yup, W's been a regular success!

Further, Abu Alzarqawi, the recent feather in the cap, didn't join Al Qaeda until December of '04, AFTER the U.S. had invaded. So he's one of the many terrorists created by our incursion. Meanwhile Al Jazeera broadcasts casualties of American collateral damage in Iraq across the Middle East, feeding the insurgency with inexhaustive numbers of recruits. Funds for reconstruction have disappeared on a massive scale... yet only Donald Rumsfeld has been replaced. This goes higher.

When the Commander-in-Chief says to go, the troops have to go. If they don't, they get courtmartialed and prosecuted. Where's the accountability for the Chief, so that the troops are used in an honored way? W should resign, so should Cheney. It's a shame what's happened...

Honica is a bigot but nonetheless it is hard to discount the disproportionate influence of a small group of Jews on American foreign policy over the last 5 years. The PNAC Iraq overthrow letter signatories are about 45% Jewish, and Jews played a disproportionate influence during the run-up to the war. Read Tom Rick's "Fiasco" and see how much Wolfowitz was concerned about Israel and not his (supposedly) fellow Americans lives, in his own words.

Israel is not the 51st state. It is a foreign country that shat its own bed. America and Americans really have no obligation to clean up the mess that Jews made for themselves in the Middle East.

America's other interest in the Middle East, besides god, is obviously oil. America could choose to end it dependency on oil (from the Middle East, Venezuela, Nigeria, and a host of other unsavory places) as soon as it chooses to. The technology and the ability is there Unfortunately, Americans believe they have a god-given right to cheap oil as much as they believe that god plays favorites amongst the Semitic tribes of the ancient Middle East. Both beliefs will come to bite America in the end.

Let the masses get Saddam in a vengeance mob killing.

By trying to create a sentiment of a so-called legitimate trial, without the international courts involvement, this will be remembered as a wartime (or non-wartinme) Kangaroo court by history despite the fact that the plantiff deserves his fate.

Solodan Milosevic, a much more sadistic dictator (at least with respect to his length in office), was treated in a more dignified way which made his trial and departure (though for natural causes) as much of a closure on that monster's life. This trial will not get that treatment since it's been under the auspices of the occupying forces.

Anonymous said...

In other words, hire a professional to take out SH, with a narcoleptic concoction, while he's on trial in Holland and thereby, wash one's hand of the whole incident. That's cold war style espionage.

Don't forget the Iran/Iraq war that killed millions...

Anonymous said...

::Don't forget the Iran/Iraq war that killed millions

It doesn't matter. Remember, he's a legitimate, absolute dictator. The only thing they can try him on are war crimes, genocide, etc and that will have to be determined and tried by the international court at the Hague. Anything else is a kangaroo court, from any political science pov, which may cause even more liability to the US in the future.

Yep, so wasn't Pinochet, Suharto, and Abdullah. But they were cooperative so their individual cruelties were well tolerated by our govt.

As long as one doesn't get on a shit list like Noriega and Qaddafi did during the 80s, one can continue to be a cruel dictator indefinitely.

In the future, when the US tries to strong arm either Russia or China into favorable deal, financial or otherwise, they'll bring up the fact that the US invaded a sovereign nation under false pretexts and executed its legitimate leader via kangaroo court. That's how this event will stand in the annals of time.

It would have been a lot easier had there been an "accident" on the way to capturing him.

The firing squad style execution of Romania's Ceausescu was during an uprising, and one from within a nation. And his execution was used by the revolutionaries to silence the other communists in the countryside to end the former Soviet satelite govt's resistance.

That's a whole lot different than what happened in Iraq or even Kosovo where Slobodan Milsevic was handed over to the Hague, by the invading nations, and for all we know, he might have been assassinated with a chemically inducing heart attack. As a result, today, Kosovo's legal and legit, Iraq isn't.

The point is that according to all the world's govts, Saddam was the legitimate leader, albeit absolute 'iron fist' dictator, of Iraq. A foreign army invaded, deposed, and executed him on its own terms. That's the issue and it's a big one on the international stage.

What kind of democracy is the US trying to create in Iraq? Saddam Hussein has been hanged after a speedy trial found him guilty of mass murder. That's not the way we do things in the US.

If Saddam Hussein had been tried in the US, his endless death penalty appeals would keep him alive indefinitely. Wasn't capital punishment declared to be cruel and unusual punishment this year?

Had things been different from the onset and we focused our total efforts and war making abilities on Afghanistan, he could have been tamed and used for our purposes in the Middle East. Had we made an example of Afghanistan and it's government of the time and not "left one brick on top of another" from the onset, we would now be rebuilding what was once nothing put a poppy growing backwater into a gem for the rest of that area to see. Hussein could have been pressured to give the Kurds autonomy and their own country and could have been moderated with the reality of a very large (and possibly permanent) American force on his back door and a cadre of CIA spookies lurking around the corner - these are some bad mofo's if they are allowed to do what they are trained to do without apology. He would have "seen the light" - IMHO.

No person is completely right, nor completely wrong. They are all somewhere in between.

Though I think the war in Iraq was a big waste of the worst kind (of young American lives, Iraqi lives, money, and credibility), and the mortgaging of America will precipitate a disaster soon, the execution of Saddam Hussein was the right thing to do.

It sends a message to the world that even the rich and powerful must face justice. Without that message, things like the invasion of Iraq become necessary. If leaders know they will be held accountable, merely the threat is good enough to make them adjust their behavior and actual military action becomes unnecessary.

You Anti-Bushites are completely ineffective because you have been crying the sky is falling for so long you only listen to yourselves anymore. If you'd saved your whining for choice times where it could be effective, your background chatter wouldn't be drowning out your message. As it is, you sound like people who whine about everything so you have no credibility.

While I myself have no great admiration for the man, I recognize he is our president and attempting to undermine him only makes him try harder to exonerate himself to history. His only way out is to go for broke in Iraq. He cannot admit he was wrong because then he would have to admit you all are right.

That's not how governments and powerful people work. It's sad that the big egos are the ones we elect but don't look at me. Some of YOU elected him. I don't vote. The other choice was just as bad.

Just read an artilce on the Arab Times about Iraq. It was about the "mini economic boom" and talked about how the economy has surprised everyone in the gulf states with its dynamism and growth. It also stated that despite the "negative press" 80% of Iraq is secure and that investment and money is flowing in Iraq, oil revenue at a record despite the primitive oil industrty and lack of infrastructure. An Arab press said that most interviewed from merchants in Iran to Kuwait to Iraqi's want the Bush administration to stay the course to prevent the jihadists from ruining the party since they are all making money fist of fist and fear if the jihadists win that Iraq will become more like Afganistan under the Taliban instead of like Bahrain or Dubai or Kuwait.

They say the biggest problem in the press is the "anti-Bush" hate campaign that paints the conditions in Iraq to suit their political agendas rather than help the Iraqi people or help rebuild the country.

It pretty much accused the anti-Bush campaign as willing to sacrifice a secure and stable Iraq just to punish GWB. Interesting the points of view you get reading the Arab Times, the Arab News, Al-Jazeera instead of the western press.

Even though I don't support the Bush admin, I do feel that confusing deaths, due to war conditions, versus an active genocide/massacre is a misdirection.

The US military did not intentionally kill over half a million Iraqis in cold blood in an attempt to eradicate their ethnicities, however, against the Kurds and Shiites, Saddam did do such a thing. That's a key difference which people forget when they look at the war and say "OMG, 1/2 million dead, a genocide was committed on Iraqis."

Leave Saddam alone. He was elected with 99.9% of the vote. Can any of your so called elected officials say the same thing?

1.5 years later, whites are rebuilding homes/businesses. Niggers are still on welfare and complaining that they ain't be gettin no help from da gubinment.

So shut the fuck up asshole.

The mistake is Bush didn't have the country united to attack Iraq compared to Afganistan. No one questioned Afganistan. From his highest perch (State of the Union speech in '02), Bush said he wouldn't stand by while the world's most dangerous regimes threatened America. Turns out the evidence to the contrary of WMD was there all along and just a victim of selective action. Now, after many killed, more wounded, and untold billions spent, the reason for going to war hasn't stood up. For shame. And now the impaired are out and they can't handle the criticism which comes with being wrong. Get used to it.

Here's some very, very appropriate famous quotes that I find relavant to the war in Iraq. The only problem is that for those of you that understand the dilemma already need no explaination. Those of you who cannot see the problem will not see how these quotes relate to it. So we're still in a pickle until things bad enough that we are forced to learn the error of our ways.

"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." - Benjamin Franklin

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt

"Be wary of the man who urges an action in which he himself incurs no risk." Joaquin Setanti

"Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." Voltaire

"Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception." - Mark Twain

"A society of sheep must in time beget a government of wolves." Bertrand de Juvenal

"Speaking the Truth in times of universal deceit is a revolutionary act." George Orwell

"Of course the people don"t want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to greater danger."

--- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials.

Here are some other quotes I find interesting regarding the Iraq war:

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." -- Ted Kennedy, September 27, 2002

I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force - if necessary - to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." -- John F. Kerry, Oct 2002

It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security." -- Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002

600,000 dead Iraqis according to....

In the 4 years since Iraq was freed from Hussein, how many people were NOT killed by Hussein? Oh that's right, Saddam was a benevolent man who wouldn't harm a fly.

I'll bet you imbeciles would have protested WW2 since Hitler wasn't a threat to us.

The wmds found in Iraq weren't the sexy stuff. Rather what was found was old and degraded and not of practical use. This explains why the administration didn't highlight it's finding for fear of embarrassment as it wasn't what they sold to the public. Only the deep in trouble Rick Santorum globbed onto the wmd find. He didn't win reelection. 'nuff said.

Guys leave Saddam alone. A Democrat told me he was beloved by his people with approval ratings of 99.99%.

I saw this movie made by an obese Midwesterner that showed Baghdad was a peaceful, tranquil place before the savage Yankees invaded.

I don't get it.

Bush planned 9/11. Then Bush blamed Saddam for it and hoodwinked Democrats like Hillay and JFK (John F Kerry) to vote for the war against him. And then he stole the election in 2004 after stealing the 2000 election.

For an idiot Bush sure is smart.

Identify which Democrats, you
moe-ron republican

Explain just what the republican-controled senate, republican-controled house, & republican controled white house has accomplished.

Republicans are good at making idiotic statements with no facts to back them up.

You're just another idiot who can't admit that you man is dogs__t.

"..Saddam was a piece of shit who is burning in hell. Anyone who is defending that garbage will be there with him some day..."

Explain exactly who is defending Saddam

Then explain how Saddam was a great-enough threat to the U.S.A that we needed to kill thousands of U.S solders, maim 10's of thousands more, and expend hundreds of billinos of dollars of tax payers' money in order to eliminate just one of dozens of despot dictators that exist in the world.

What made Iraq different than North Korea, Iran, Cuba, China, etc. etc.???

Are we going to elimate all those "pieces of shit" as well?

At what cost in treasure & humanity?

Defend the presidant that YOU put into office, you moe-ron.

Expain just what good he has acomplished

"...cerin was found in IRAQ and is ..."

Cite your source, otherwise YOUR comment gets added to the Lie List,
Mr Bush (or is it Mr. Cheney or Mr. Rumsfeld?)

You republicans can't seem to agree with each other:

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." -- Ted Kennedy, September 27, 2002"

".. disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." -- John F. Kerry, Oct 2002"

".. Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002"

----- vs.------

"...Hmmmm? Democrats keep telling me Saddam was a great man..."

"Guys leave Saddam alone. A Democrat told me he was beloved by his people with approval ratings of 99.99%."

Perhaps that is why the republicans could not accomplish anything (except war $ fiscal insolvency) even though they controled the senate, house & white house?

Perhaps that is why they lost the election?

Another thoughtful republican speaks his mind (what there is of it.)

Is there now any question how an incompetent like Bush can get elected?

Let’s get this party started right. Get your revolutionary blood pumping and name the President who gave this speech:

“For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covet means for expanding its sphere of influence; on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system that has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published, its mistakes are buried not headlined, its dissenters are silenced not praised, no expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, and no secret is revealed.” Watch the Video Clip

Democunts are still mourning today. No not over the death of a US President. That was great news to Democunts as an old white man died. No the mourning is over a wrongly accused democratically elected Muslim man.

RIP Sddam.

All I can hope for is that the FBI is watching, taking notes and recording IP addresses.

Hey, it looks like the Sunnis are already calling this event a Shiite/sectarian run execution.

I called it! This was going to be recorded as a kangaroo court style execution which is why he should have been handed over to the Hague and then fallen ill to a mysterious illness.

Dude, this whole thing was just another giant jew production. Do you really think that Saddam was convicted by a jury of his "own people", or that the current government of Iraq is anything but a jew sponsered puppet government? This giant jew lie is so apparent that even most of my lemming patriotard friends can see through it...... Wake up you brain-dead zombies!
