These economic cycles happened, it was market psychology. Political contests occurred. Speculation occurred also. One did not always cause the other.

In a seemingly lesser correction about 1989-1990 many S & L banks went out of business. One of the Bush brothers was a part of the management in charge of the bankruptcy of a Colorado S & L bank. Another Bush brother has been running up the national debt to unprecedented levels. The government was pressured by Washington beaurocrats and government contractors ambitious to increase their department budget allocations and outspend their neighbors.

Ummm... excuse me, but George Bush, a Republican, has let in more illegal immigrants than all previous Democrats combined. Securing our borders after 9/11 should have been Bush's top priority. Instead, he thought pleasing big business with cheap labor was far more important. Even after losing Congress, he still pushes his rediculous amnesty program which he disguises has "comprehensive immigration reform".
Obama does not have enough experience. Nice talker, though.
The dems will rubber stamp the immigration amnesty. They'll also take away your gun rights! How can you protect yourself now?
I can see it now: I voted against Bush but whats up with this dem agenda? Oh ya, they did not have a plan during the election but they really have a plan.

The bad stuff will happen within the next two years. The dollar has already fallen below the 85 support level on the USDX. There is a huge devaluation coming my friends, get ready. What foreign central banker has yet to publicly say they are ready to diversify out of dollars?? The powers that be are attempting to shape your perceptions that we have voted for a new direction and that everything will be fine. Nothing has changed; the two parties differ only at the margins. The US and NATO countries had amassed the largest military armada in the Middle East. The NATO force is composed of troops and naval vessels from several countries and is lead by Germany. It includes Garman command naval forces, Italian navy, 2 Spanish warships, 3 Danish warships, 10 Greek Warships, 2 Netherlands warships, and French, Belgium, Turkish and Bulgarian troops in South Lebanon.
This is the largest amass ever of military power in the region, and it is gathering for a reason.
The US had started its military provocation on October 30th with its "Leading Edge" war game across the Iranian shores. Iran responded with a 10 days military maneuvers "Great Prophet" taking place in Gulf, Sea of Oman, and several provinces of the country test-firing dozens of its long-range missiles capable of reaching Israel and American military bases in Gulf States.

It’s not a scare tactic. It’s not even on the radar of the MSM. Just two ducks in Niagara County with a low pathogenic version of H5N1. A curious fact - our buddy D. Rumsfeld is a major stockholder in Tamiflu - not that it matters against H5N1 if it mutates to humans, but the scare tactic has worked in selling millions of units of tamiflu.
I would argue that H5N1 is not slow moving at all and the poultry industry in the far east and other parts of the world has been desimated in under 2 years since h5n1 appeared on scene.
To environmentalist - migratory birds have been culled by the millions to prevent migration of the desease to the north american continent.
Also I would add - the MSM (IMM) is not the standard for delivering factual news on ANY TOPIC.

As I have said before on this blog, all the ignorant Iran haters need to know the story of Mossadegh, the democratically elected head of the Iranian state who was overthrown in a CIA-led coup during the Eisenhower administration. Madeleine Albright once had the grace and good sense to publicly acknowledge the wrong itself and the cloud it cast over Iranian-American relations in the post-Shah era. Just spoke to one of my really smart friends. He does business Internationally, and I asked him about China's waffle with regard to a USD exit. He said Rummy wanted war in the Middle East and China does not want was. If the war started then China was going to dump dollars. SO, Bush fires Rummy and China is still.
