I feel like sending the flying monkeys over to stir up another blog. Any suggestions?

It was sure fun to disrupt the hilariously unaware bloodhound blog. Remember the good times telling the truth over at firstrung.co.uk? Then there were HP'er hilarious reviews on the corrupt David Lereah's book on Amazon. And of course, the attempt to shake up Paranoid Ben's Boring Blog up a bit (but he censors every post so that nobody can mention HP).

So where should we go next, HP flying monkeys? Who needs a bit of truth today?

I'm leaning here, especially after this funny troll's (Paranoid Ben?) wise words yesterday:

for anyone who actually visits this blog to track bubble issues, may I suggest the following site:http://thehousingbubbleblog.com/

It is focused on topic and does follow wild tangents touting failed liberal ideas. You will not find the following there:unintelligent bashing of things not understood (i.e. Christian haters: if you think that televangelists and the like is representative of the true faith, then you are truly uninformed - try reading the Bible yourself).

Elite wannabes with vain babblings about Republicans being the great Satan, GWB a chimp, etc and the mighty Democrats (or Secularism) saving the world for all...was this site hijacked by Air America or George Soros?

No bitterness about life in general and displaying anger about things they have no power to change.and, no trash-talking, name-calling Sophmorish clique behavior that truly shows just how unrefined one is despite the apparent facade.A refreshing change...see you there.

Yea, I thought that post had nothing to do with anything except it was a lot of negative advertising by the blog owner, trying to increase his readership by recruiting HPers over to his much too quiet blog.
It reminds me of the Political Negative TV and Radio advertisements outing their opponents.
The funny thing, the distinctive personalities and personal posts that he attacks are the Heart of HP. duh.
At least he did not say you are gay Keith.

Seattle and South Florida, while slowing slightly, continue to show robust appreciation, significantly outpacing the majority of the nation. The U.S. report gives you insight into the top 36 metro areas, showing that median home values in the top markets are still on the rise, measuring average appreciation of 4.8 percent year-on-year. While this is still considered healthy appreciation by many standards, it's a dramatic slowdown from the double-digit appreciation many homeowners have come to expect in recent years.

I read the 3rd quarter report for phoenix and it revealed some interesting information. I am referring to the Phoenix "neighborhoods" section of the report, one of them (Central City) actually had appreciation of about 30% year-over-year! I think your report makes a really good point about the least expensive neighborhoods in Phoenix actually have some decent appreciation while the most expensive ones depreciated and lost value! I think the media often gets all crazy and hypes up the "median value" statistic when it is clearly misleading since what real estate investors actually care about is what is going on in the "micro" markets of where their property is located. I've been watching the comps near the neighborhood where I own a house (I think it is the encanto neighborhood mentioned in the report) and values really haven't been falling...they actually have increased! It just goes to show you can't always believe what the media says is the trend for your city or the nation and assume it is the exact same trend where your property is located!

".....real estate investors actually care about is what is going on in the "micro" markets of where their property is located."

Real estate investors could care less if the whole damn neighborhood drops into the 9th level of hell as long as their property stopped at level 8 and sold for a good profit. Gimme a break!

Maybe you should start with allowing the truth to be told here again?

I think that post had quite a bit of truth in it. Cannot we just return to the housing bubble situation? All this other stuff is boring and a pain to weed through to find the real meat of what I dare say most come here to discuss.

If not, how about changing the web address to something more fitting (at least it could not be construed as false advertising like some would view now)?

That guy really opened my eyes. I admit, I DID think that evangelists represented a good portion of Christianity. I was so wrong. I am now reading the Bible myself and finding some awesome guidance. The next time I see my neighbor gathering sticks on the Sabbath, I'm going to stone him to death.

Seattle area considered tops for owning office property
By Amy Martinez

Seattle Times business reporter

GREG GILBERT / THE SEATTLE TIMES

A new report ranks the Seattle-Bellevue area the most desirable region in the nation for buying and owning office properties. Pictured is an entrance to the Civica Office Commons in Bellevue.

For the first time, real-estate professionals nationwide have named the Seattle metro area as the most desirable place to buy and own office property, a distinction likely to mean more buildings selling for top dollar in the coming year.

The No. 1 ranking is revealed in a report being distributed today by the Seattle chapter of the Urban Land Institute. It reflects the views of about 600 commercial real-estate brokers, lenders, developers, investors and consultants.

I propose that we since we can't troll over at paranoid BJ's boring blog that people report various circle-jerkisms commonly found over there. Things like "good post!" and "I wholeheartedly agree" would qualify. If you find one that goes: "txchick57, you are so smart, would you share some of your rare wisdom and insight with the rest of us?" you get bonus points.

More total BS from Seattles Marlow Harris on Seattle PI (local newspaper sponsors it's own bullshit lying sack of shit blog!) Seattle Real Estate Professionals

We're so great!!!!

The report calls cities such as Seattle "expensive and elitist," meaning that "people pay a premium to live in them." But companies pay handsomely for brainpower, so employees can afford to live in these places. In turn, an affluent population supports the art community, which drives tourism, it said.

Seattle made it into the top five regions nationally for the first time in the history of the report, said Kelly Mann, executive director of the institute's Seattle District Council. "Specifically with respect to office -- Seattle is on everybody's shopping list," she said.

As a result, local developers are snagging big-time interest from investors. "Suddenly you're everybody's new best friend," Mann said. "When you're meeting New York investment brokers or pension fund leaders, they want to get to know Seattle real estate professionals."

I have read the bible from cover to cover, you Tooth Fairy believing idiot. It contains such gems as the following:

Deuteronomy 25:11: When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets (AKA testicles). Then thou shalt cut off her hand..."

Yeah, your book's just dandy!
Clearly, Easter Bunny boy, you have never even cracked open the bible save for on sundays when your dummy preacher selectively chooses some of the less unsavory passages to focus on. Reality is that the bible is a book written by and for very primitive and backward tribal nomads.
