I like it but it needs the editing tightened up a bit, too much time spent looking at empty blackness...

...then again maybe that's what upside down flippers see as their minds lock up with fear.

I actually have an aquaintence who says,'We can Never go through a depression again!' Too many failsafes are involved!

Well, it may not be like in '29, but i would never say 'never!'

The next depression will be far worse, because most of us live in the city, and in the 30's there were more farmers who could at least grow there own food. Plus those people were a lot tougher than the present yuppies and boomers.

The "farmers" saved lots of Americans during the Depression. All the city folk in trouble went home to their families on the farm, where enough food could be grown to feed everyone. But how many of us today have relatives who live on functioning farms?

Well done. I liked the choice of B&W, and the soundtrack, but could not place the song; good stills. The parallel between 1929 and 2006 is inexact because the housing bubble crisis is glacial by comparison, and there are many different variables at play, some will mediate and some will exacerbate the problem. But the film's clear message is "never say never".
I have no idea if we are headed for Great Depression Reloaded, but I do know there are a lot of people who are blissfully unaware of how tenuous the economy has become and why that is the case. Unfortunately, it can happen here.
