The Only Housing Bubble Is In the News Media Reporting
The National Association of Realtors reports that home sales should be leveling out in the months ahead at a lower pace, according to an index based on pending home sales, a leading indicator for the housing market published by the National Association of Realtors(R).
While the negative rhetoric continues to gain steam, there still remains minimal evidence that the real estate market is in a "bubble bursting" environment.
What the mainstream media seems to forget is that 2005 was the best year ever in real estate from a sales and volume perspective. And the pending home sales index is only down 16% versus July of last year.
Market watchers will recall that July and August represented the peak of the market. By October, sales had started to stall. Over the next couple months, we expect to start seeing the sales comparisons versus last year normalize and get better.

Yeah, because people in Florida making $12 a hour can afford a $280,000 condo, or a $350,000 single family home. I'm SURE things will stabilize in the coming months with this latest 5% drop in prices!!
Do these people believe in Santa Claus too??
I predict that a 40-50% price reduction must go into effect before the market in Florida stabilizes. However, I believe a bigger correct is needed in California, Arizona, and Nevada; maybe as much as a 70% reduction out west.

These are the same clowns that put the power point on their website arguing that prices are comind down and there will be a hard landing.
Fuck these people.
"The National Association of Realtors reports that home sales should be "leveling out" in the months ahead at a "lower pace"..."
Yes, and some of these leveled-out, lower-paced properties may still face "involuntary conversion" -- even the ones that Suzanne researched.
Shall I take a picture of the overgrown with weeds failed housing development for these morons? NO BUYERS.
Suzanne researched this and we can do it.... if....
If we both work two jobs, take no vacations, sell blood (and maybe an organ or two), collect aluminum cans, heat with wood that we chop, have no air conditioning, grow our own veggies in the backyard, whore myself and our daughter out on the weekends and holidays, have no disruption in our work or health for forty years, you and our son "perform" for the men who hang out at the public restroom at the park, and we eat the stray dogs and cats that we happen across in our day to day "living".

ARM it and HELOC all the way! That's usually the pitch for the strapped buyer.
I suppose that once the sales volume hits zero it has "leveled off".
Professional liars one and all.
I have one word for Suzanne:
"Barbizon."
No really, honey. Look into it. Soon.
That's about right. You must understand that "leveling out" means crashing down and coming months means next few years. It's like everything else they say. One must interpret.
The association of realtors has done a great job ruining their entire business and our economy with their ridiculous hot air... include HGTV too. Just one look at those idiots buying the 800,000 crap holes and it's clear that those people represent less than .02 percent of the population with half a cerebellum.
