Enron's Skilling and Lay Guilty - so who will be doing time for housing bubble crimes?

Bob Toll?
David Lereah?
Mortgage brokers?
Fannie Mae execs?

Appraisers?

All financial bubbles result in greed-driven crimes.

Bush will pardon them so fast in 2008 it won't even be funny.

IMO- They can't put these two scumbags in prison fast enough. The sentencing isn't until September and neither Lay or Skilling is under house arrest. I guess they get to spend the summer at the country club. WTF!

Is Bernie Ebbers in prison yet? These greedy bastards and the politicians who let it happen, have ruined our country!

I also wonder how long until congressman William Jefferson goes to the pokey.

Bush and Ken Lay go way back. He'll be pardoned in 2008.

Hey, his wife still look very hot. If he goes to prison, I will be over at his house every night.

I don't think Ken Lay will be pardoned, even though Bush can be pretty damn stupid about things. Corporate corruption at these levels, with this much publicity and the pain that the fall of Enron caused, will not be forgiven by any president. It would not be interpreted as anything other than letting the fat cats go free. Democrats would take over Congress and the White House in short order.

Well, in fact, they probably will take over anyway.

Lay and Skilling should die in prison, and they might, if their friend Bush doesn't leap in and save them, as his daddy did with his Iran-Contra co-conspirators.

But what we really need in this country is for all the very rich to go up against the wall.

Their greed has wrecked us all.
