A time capsule of the greatest financial mania in the history of mankind, told in real-time by regular folks and patriots. May future generations better understand the madness of crowds, and how power and money corrupt.

the decisions people made will look so stupid years from now
goodness, what were we thinking?
greed got the best of us, so so many of us
there's a difference, a fine line, between greed and sane investing
but greed is human nature. greed is good, as we've heard before. I'm as greedy as the next.
But I'm also smart enough to get out while the getting is good, hope you did too.
greed is believing you can put $10,000 down and make $500,000 in one year.
greed is not buying $10,000 worth of gold or google and getting a 20% return
Yes, I got a chair.
A nice house free and clear from all the real estate bubble profits.
Don't care what the market value of my primary domicile does...
In fact would like it to stay same or drop cause that would keep the property tax from being hiked!
Its amazing how clear you can think when you treat your own personal house like your car... a living expense period!
A few trend chasers got into GOLD for the "free money" thing... this is drivin by GREED.
But most long term gold bugs have been accumulating for years and will continue to buy the dips until the global trade imblances level out and long term political stability returns. This may not happen for 20+ years, and if the peak-oil guys are right, it may never happen again.
Never stood up outta my chair and I'm the guy that sold the next to last chair as well. Wait until we find out 40% of the people who got chairs when the music stopped were only holding places for a few flippers. When the music starts up again 10 chairs and 6 players.
Own outright, no debts, owe nobody except for normal day to day. My chair is glued to my butt and will stay there. Never got up to play, never will. Feel sorry for those that did. (Well, NO, not really!!!)
