No more faking offers. No more deceiving clients. No more paying off appraisers. No more whoring yourself out for a buck. It's time to get back to basics.

Forget the realtors - what about the slob profiled last week on ABC - the one commuting from the once sleepy Lehigh Valley ,PA. to NYC at 4 hr. 40 minutes per day. Wait until he and so many others hafta pay to heat the barns. Ah hahahaha.

Micky D's will probably not hire anyone who can stand up for their rights and can read English.
The realators will be in a bad bind and while they do have the skills to get into another line of work like apartment management they will not be able to afford their lifestyle from selling $1 million crack houses and the commisions that brings.
They will lose the Mercedes for a Toyota. Many will go into a deep depression and feel they are failures in life. There will be suicides I'm sure.
Well, at least the increase in hamburger flippers will boost the govt manufacturing stats

well, cavepeople, in a way they ARE worse than car salesmen and lawyers.
They deliver the pain that keeps on giving, month after month, year after endless year, paying a WAY too high mortgage on an overpriced junky house that they KNEW they sold you in a market that was unravelling.
Pretty despicable, yup.
PS: And if they didn't KNOW they were selling to you in an unravelling market and really believed that RE is still hot! hot! hot!, then they are too ignorant for a job that holds such resposibilty

Well, most of the female realtors I know already have the hair, clothes, and makeup to be "sex workers," so I'm sure they'll find a way to make an honest living, for a change.
Most realtors drive Lexus's since the Mercedes is in the shop to often. (I have owned both and know this for a fact)
Only the high end realtors who must provide the image have the Mercedes.
Traditional realtors (divorced old lady's) tend to drive big american cars.
At the bar on Friday - I was poured a beer by an realtor tending bar because the market is so soft. A realtor was sitting beside me. She began to tell me about the housing market and HONEST TO GOD, she said the local market was headed for a crash because properties were so overvalued. She has been in the business 30 years and cannot recall a time like today.
She started to refute all the relator talking point (economy, immigration, etc) at which point I stopped her and told her I already knew this since I'm an economist. Her eyes lit up and she proceeded to buy me two more beers and wanted to talk housing bubble and economics.
First honest discussion I've ever had with a realtor. Even the bartender thinks the market will go up after we get through this "soft patch".

Oh by the way, she wanted my phone number because he daughter is a model (pretty - saw pic) and "needs someone smart to be with". Me, her, and her daughter are going to coffee soon.

the last realtor I spoke with was quite honest. She said she was shocked by the prices people were paying and the poor finances of some of the buyers. Guess she must have known I was only a "looky-loo" and not a serious buyer.
I see the same houses for sale in my sister's subdivision everytime I have visited her family for the past year. A few fell into foreclosure and still haven't sold yet. One subdivision that was planned nearby last fall is now just sitting there as an empty field. Either it's been delayed or cancelled because there are not enough buyers. I hate to see this happen, but it's just like the dotcom boom. The crazyness always has to come to an end

As a lawyer, I assure you that we are capable of sending bills MUCH higher than your mortgage payment. Don't ever litigate anything if you can help it.
