We need a few US citizens with the guts of the Tankman.

Unfortunately, the chimp believes he is just that man. And he is going to stand down Ahmanijehad in the style of a shootout at the OK corral.

I agree, but is it too late for the citizens of the U.S.?
Every year at tax time, my wife gets all worried about our taxes.."did we file them right? Did we make any mistakes?"(we still qualify for a 1040) She thinks the IRS will bust down the door for honest mistakes. I have to remind her that the government serves the people, not people serving the government. The fear should lie with the government.
Hers is a small fear, but it is a vein that runs deeper in our society. I’m not asking what my country can do for me. I ask what my government can do or has done for the people. I don’t want or need a hand out. I want to know that my tax dollars are well spent for the good of this nation. Are they? At the end of the day, it’s a quantitive “no”. Other than running for office, what can the common person do? Well, you can’t run for office. The common person does not have the connections nor the resources to run and succeed. Well, the common person can vote. Yea, for the lesser of the two shmucks running. I for one vote as crazy and as far out in left field as I can. The crazier the better. Maybe, just maybe, this crazy contender will make it. And maybe, this office holder will be crazy enough to expose the scandals that go on in our government. Well, at best, this crazy office holder might screw up and take down a few shmucks with him.

Sounds like the chimp that is now in the WH....the one that thinks the US Constitution is just a piece of paper. And who thinks that he is god's avenging arm...

The schmucks he's taking down are 20,000 US military casualties in Iraq. And probably the US economy as well before he's finished...just watch what happens to the $USD if nukes are used against Iran.

So, you’re unhappy that Saddam is not in power. What other terrorist organizations do you support? Iran?
So which is it, are you worried about your $$ or the 20,000 US military casualties? Nuke them all, save U.S. lives and keep your $$.
To really escalate the situation, I’m thinking about voting for Hillary next election. I mean come on, talk about taking some shmucks with you, she would clean house!

Time for a reality check, Bob"

Oh, I see, Iran is our friend, Saddam was a swell guy after all, he just wanted to keep throwing dinner parties, and Bin Ladden was just doin us a favor??

Yea, some reality check.

Robert,
I am also hoping Hillary wins in 2008. It would be a disaster that so many richly deserve. Just as those schmucks in Iraq deserve being killed and maimed for supporting the US government instead of their own families.

Ah, a true red blooded American; this is the soul of America right now. Terrorist afoot? Send in the Military, then lament about casualties over your Latte whilst you plan the next election and how these lives, not protect you, but how many points these lives gain for your candidate in the next election.
Just a quick lesson in semantics, the Military does not support the government. The Military defends first and foremost, the constitution (look up the Service Members oath) in turn, serving the People of the United States.

Well Bush I thought so. Haven't you seen the picture of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam?

Anyway, answer me this, Bob. Who would you rather have running Iraq - Saddam, or the Iran-allied fundamentalists who run the country now? Don't think too hard.

Slight addendum to above - I meant Reagan and Bush I.

Why would Rusted shake hands with Saddam? Hello!! Can u say I-R-A-N? Is your knowledge of the Middle East limited to recent coverage by CNN? Yes of course it is obviously.

Gee, should I pick A)Terrorist or B)Terrorist?
Now, don’t think too hard and come up with option C. Say, ….um, I don’t know, how about Terrorist?
