These *taxpayer bailouts* are actually a 9th inning ploy by Bushco to complete its neocon- mandated agenda of PRIVATIZING SOCIAL SECURITY.

The bases have been loaded and Hammerin Hank is batting 'clean-up' for Wall Street...

It only hurts when I laugh! Hilarious!
So sad that millions of hard working people believed they were investing for their future, when in fact they were giving money to big time gamblers. And now they have to cover the losses of those gamblers. Criminal.

You rabid Lefty's are so pathetic whining about your economy collapsing and all of your investment banks, mortgage giants and rampant inflation wah wah wah!!

Under George W Bush I'm earning way more money than I was 8 years ago.

Dubya is a real American patriot. He didn't grow up with a silver spoon in his mouth like you rabid Lefties. He worked his way up to the top from NOTHING. No help from nobody. He didn't have a rich daddy to buy him his first car or buy him a ranch in Texas.

He's a real cowboy and this is what real American PATRIOTIC cowboys do. They work hard, they don't complain, they party hard and they shoot ARABS, DAMNNIT!!!

Reply - It is interestingto me that suddenly there is all this money available. Why couldn't they have used it for social security?

I get no sound when I play this video. On the Daily Show site it comes up completely blank (video not loaded). I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.16. Any ideas or suggestions?

We taxpayers don't just own an insurance company, but we also promise to reimburse a mountain of toxic crap so lethal that the sight of it ruined the largest insurance company. And insurance companies have the largest piles of cash and highest profit margins of any companies.

Don't know if anyone remembers Linus the Lionhearted, Sasha Grouse and Billy Bird. "Just a rock, just a rock, just a rock," "Just a bird, just a bird, just a bird." (Billy Bird tried to make rocks money.)

to lost cause: I was wondering about that. I think "insurance" as it exists in the US is basically robbery - it's a gangster "protection" game that makes a lot of money for the gangsters. In a way it is good if done with the right motives. But that's not usually the case. By the way, a friend of mine from Viet Nam said the immigrants here have their own insurance - they all pay into a pot of their own and cover costs if anyone has a health problem for example.

Did he? Great!

I didn't watch the video - I came here for factual posts on the housing crash, not Comedy Central reruns. Facts seem to be in short supply around here.
