I'll miss the GOP. They sure were good for laughs.

The world is laughing. When they're not freaked out and scared by what America has become.

You are funny Keith. Check out today's polls. I'm thinking you might want to reconsider the last 5 or 6 posts.

I said McCain would win by 40-50 EVs. I stand corrected, it will be 70-80.

DOPES!

The question is what are the rest of us going to do about it if these people have an unbeatable electoral majority?

Sit idly by like the Jews in Germany?

Carve out a Zion for the thoughtful?

The Neocon invasion of South Ossetia showed that the American people will believe whatever they are told and march off to whatever war they are directed to.

This is the type of people that invite a Hitler.

I've been told that Jon Stewart has a lot of talent. After seeing this, I know where his talent lies - in destroying people. That video showed pure cruelty and mockery - there was nothing funny or talented about it. The standards for comedy have fallen to a very low level, as demonstrated by this video.

Mimimimimi mimimimi, nah I'm just kidding with yah.

Still getting your "news" from a comedy show, eh?

Is the world laughing at us the way we laugh at France? You know, deriding other countries is pretty normal. In your naivete you are making something of nothing.

4 out of 5 polls now show McLoser leading in Ohio.

and the democrats are always good entertainment. It is amazing to see how they can, over a period of months, manage to nominate the one candidate that is not a "for sure" thing.

It boggles the mind.

One big problem in America is the number of people who think Jon Stewart is real news.

smiling all the way to the bank (coming back from intrade)!

I am up 15 points on my mccain to win contracts. thinking about selling some off and rolling the dice on hillary. I don't think the dems are smart enough to replace obama with hillary but to double my money hillary contracts only have to move a couple of points.

One thing you can always count on is the stupidity of liberals. You can take that to the bank, baby!

obama killed his campaign by revealing his true self with the "cling to religion and guns" comment to a bunch of san fran liberals. with one short cutting comment (boy obama is good with words!) he managed to belittle about 80% of the american public. mccain then picked a gun toting, religious VP that can beat obama senseless with the "cling to religion and guns" comment.

hmmm, can you short on intrade? need to look into that. there is good money to be made on the downside of obama contracts.

Hopefully, after losing in november, obama will reflect on his loss and get back to his political roots and re-emerge in 2012 to help save america.

OMG, I just read that some democrats running for office are canceling co-appearances with Obama because they are worried that being seen with him will be a political liability!

It just feels so good to this country of old-time Europeans (i.e., hillbillies) to live in the same ol' house with Grandpappy (John McCain) and Momma (Sarah Palin). Grandpappy will lie on the sofa all day and snore, while Momma will go out and hunt and kill our dinner fer us, bring it home and cook it up. Hell, she will also drill fer our oil and use it to fire up the ol jaloppy when we want to ride into town fer our supplies, like flour and ammo.
Gawd, I love this here country of ours.

No, you're confusing the actual presidential campaign mudslinging with this video. Did you click on the wrong link?

This video was hilarious. I loved the guy who was a lobbyist. It's pretty sad that he was the only one who could actually speak coherently.

Well, that video pretty much sums up what's going on in too many parts of this country still ... "small-town values" ... right up there with the clan.

It's nice living here along the coast though, where many small-town thinkers are good at
keeping a "low profile".

Also, at their trailer parks.

Remember Keith, you made a remark that this election will be about housing market, get this:

Lose your house, lose your vote

http://www.michiganmessenger.com/4076/lose-your-house-lose-your-vote

The chairman of the Republican Party in Macomb County, Michigan, a key swing county in a key swing state, is planning to use a list of foreclosed homes to block people from voting in the upcoming election as part of the state GOP’s effort to challenge some voters on Election Day.

“We will have a list of foreclosed homes and will make sure people aren’t voting from those addresses,” party chairman James Carabelli told Michigan Messenger in a telephone interview earlier this week. He said the local party wanted to make sure that proper electoral procedures were followed.

The GOP needs to bottom out and retool. It is right now a party of hateful idiots with no positive ideas. The only thing that gets Republicans excted is insulting liberals. Then they call themselves patriotic. How exactly is it patriotic to hate such a big portion of your country? That's not patriotism, that's vapid brainlessness. These idiots talk about small town values all day long and can't even define what they're talking about. That pretty much sums it up. The GOP has become beyond pathetic, and that helps explain why are country has followed suit after we put these morons in charge. Lets not do it again, please.

Mockery is good - Stewart is mad at what he sees. He's intelligent and can accept those not as intelligent but what he sees is the buffoonery of American politics. Mockery is all that's left so enjoy it - and protect your wealth.

I spend a lot of my work time driving through and around small-town America and I can surely say that there is little culture left and few values. All of the downtowns are boarded up. There are few jobs and everyone seems depressed. All the folks I talk to can't wait until the weekend to drink away the sad reality. Drug use is rampant (mainly meth) and teen pregnancies are higher than most large cities (http://www.raconline.org/info_guides/teenpregnancy/teenpregnancyfaq.php).

It is hard to see what has happened to rural small-town America.

So conservatives are a bunch of narrow-minded special interests held together with a rubber band that should have exploded already, and liberals are a bunch of high-minded do gooders that cannot or will not accept the rules of arithmetic.

They all just wanna steal your money and give to *their* friends.

If the libertarians ever get a geographical base, stay away, since NATO will get the job of melting it...
