Senator Richard Shelby is a big influence and he should be contacted
and mailed . This Senator has a lot of power and is respected . He acted like he didn't like the bail-out by his comments .

The Chinese hold tons of dollars and tons of mortgage bonds that pay interest in dollars. What is any of this paper worth? I imagine they have been getting a little nervouse about it and that is one big driver behind the 700B.

Congrats to the gals who held the pink signs up right behind their evil heads!!!

THIS BAILOUT MUST NOT BE ALLOWED!!

THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA NEED TO DICTATE THE TERMS OF ANY HELP, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!

WAMU is going to be going down soon and it will be hard & fast. If the FDIC does not unwind them ASAP behind the seens & under the radar to keep the markets from freaking out then it will be a blood bath. Sticking the WAMU holding company with all the toxic slime and moving all the deposits and valuable assets to other banks it the only way to go. If Indymac took a 10% chunk out of the FDIC, then WAMU will take the rest and FDIC will have to tap its credit line with the Treasury!! DOW 10000 here we come!!!

[S&P] ... lowered Washington Mutual Inc.'s counterparty credit rating to "poor quality" of CCC/C from BB-/B. "The downgrade was due to the increased likelihood that a potential sale of the company may not involve the whole company, which increases the risk of default for holding company creditors," said Victoria Wagner, an S&P credit analyst.

The banksters are suffering from constipation.

Paulson and Bernanke are selling snake oil.

Snake oil is a laxative.
