A time capsule of the greatest financial mania in the history of mankind, told in real-time by regular folks and patriots. May future generations better understand the madness of crowds, and how power and money corrupt.

What do you mean there are no more lifeboats?
Heck of a job Captain Smith... here's the medal of freedom.
Well, it's music till you drown or shouting and screaming. I think the former is more elegant and transitory for a the next spiritual plane.
This is easily the best blog on the net
Like the Titanic, our leaders made sure to only supply enough life-boats for those who own them ... the 1%, 2% of ruling elite.
Come on people, the Fundamentals of our economy are good. :)
Thanks, Keith.
You know, after watching/listening to that, I feel kind of sad...in the same way I felt sad listening to America the Beautiful last night before I logged off.
Hussein Obama is holding on to the rail and yelling: "I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD!"
We did our duty, as did most Good Americans.
We worked hard, payed our taxes, saved, and were kind to those less fortunate than ourselves.
We voted; gave our support to those we thought best able to improve our country for all our benefit.
We even spoke out against evil and greed, but were shouted down as un-American.
How do you like your America now?
Influential people in the world of finance who opposed the 1913 Fed were WHACKED at sea aboard the Titanic.
Tragically, I don't have CNBC on right now. I like to see and hear how Cocaine Kudlow explain this away.

Well I lost my ass today my friends. I took a million dollar loss on AIG stock.I am down to my last 50 grand now.My wife wants a divorce now that the money is gone.I am looking for work again.God bless you all.
hey keith,
i just want to let you know that i really do appreciate the bifurcation of the politics/econmics blogs.
your threads the past couple days are just like old times.
someone on your distressed flag thread suggested that housingpanic is like your decreasing sales yet stabalized product and your americanpanic blog is like your new high growth potential product.
my opinion is different. your housingpanic blog is your pulitzer winning material while your other one is your john grishamlike million others like it material.
great decision. look forward to your blog sticking around.
