Keith, Keith, Keith ... this is desperate attempt to denigrate an intelligent woman, and will only shoot down your cause. Sexist much?

She has more experience than Obama. When she was the mayor, Obama was a community organizer. She's a mother of five, one with downs syndrome and she decided to keep her baby because of her beliefs. She told the good ol boys who were trying to build the bridge to nowhere in HER state to go screw themselves. She's married to a Native American who is a lot like the rest of us regular guys. She is a tough and intelligent women and did I mention that she's kinda hot.

That was classic. You tell it like it is.I Gave it a week in the poll you have.

Keith. The American people do not watch the debates. They don't understand the nuances of politics or the issues facing America today.

The dog and pony show is all about image. The "war hero", the "black president", the "female president" etc etc..

You have to keep it simple for the masses.

Therefore, this is a smart move by the GOP.

Now I didn't say it was good for America. I don't know if it is. But I'd much prefer to have Palin than those two warmongering Washington insiders Cheney or Biden as Vice President that's for sure!

It's also disingenuous of you to use the Miss Teen video to represent Palin. That would apply to McCain but Palin is actually quite intelligent and well spoken.

This pick has got the right wingers very excited for good reason because Palin is a good counter to Obama's "change and hope" as a Washington change agent.

You have to understand that America is still unfortunately a racist nation and isn't as progressive as your liberal friends in Europe.

Whether Obama is a muslim or not doesn't matter. It's the perception in the mind of middle America that counts.

OMG! When I heard of McCains selection I fell out of my chair!!

LMAO!!!!!!!!

BWWWA!!!!

Talk about desperation!!!!!

We all know criminals are dumb people - as the Bush regime goes down in flames, McCain tries to pull a fast one. The criminal GOP rats (con artists, evil-doers, slugs, elected officials, GOP CEOS) are scattering!!!

McCain knows his gang of thugs are TOAST. I can hear those 1,452 hand-cuffs now!

Anonymous said...

Geez Keith!

Let's take stock.

McCain: More experience than Obama in every sense of the word.

So Obama picks someone with as much experience as McCain, destroying his message of hope and change. Score so far: McCain 1 Obama 0

Obama's pick turns out to be bought and paid for by the banks, who want a housing bail out so they don't lose any money. Score:
McCain 2 Obama 0

McCain does what Obama couldn't. He finds a woman who is qualified, smart, and has more executive experience than anybody on either ticket, but won't upstage him or bring baggage. Score: McCain 3 Obama 0.

Obama and his flunkies (Keith included), pick on her for lack of experience (which is still more than Obama has), bring out ugly, bitter, lesbians to say that she won't get their vote, but that this woman who has 80% approval (which Obama and Biden couldn't get if you added their approval together, with Hilary's thrown in) isn't somehow qualified.

Refer back to your question of how McCain wins in a landslide, to answer: He does so by sticking to issues, and doing everything better than Obama has been able to do. Maybe in 2012, when Palin runs against Obama, he might have a little more experience and understand that if you want to sit at the big kids' table you have to be prepared. I don't even like McCain, but if he has the wisdom to pick someone who isn't tainted in Washington (or Chicago) corruption, he just rose about 1000%

A qualifed and competent woman as Veep or Prez would be excellent. I believe jobs should be colorblind and sex-blind. Best person for the job gets it. And gets equal pay.

If McCain had picked Rice or Hutchinson or Dole I'd have had political disagreements, but not competence or qualifications.

Palin is just a joke. But again, probably just a 1-week joke before withdrawing.

The PTA and Mayor of Wasilla Alaska to Commander in Chief? I don't think so!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasilla,_Alaska

Wasilla is a city in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. Its former mayor, Sarah Palin, is the current Governor of Alaska and the presumptive 2008 Republican Vice Presidential candidate.

Wasilla is part of the Anchorage, Alaska Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2000 census, its population was 5,470. The 2005 estimate gives it a population of 8,471,[1] although the city website lists the population as 6,715.[2]

DENVER - John McCain's risky choice of Gov. Sarah Palin gives him a running mate who doubles down on his maverick image, may appeal to "hockey moms" and other women, and counters Barack Obama's aura of new-generation change. But he may have undercut his best attack on the Democrat.

If Obama is an empty suit, as McCain has suggested, is Palin suited for the Oval Office herself?

Sarah Palin under investigation for ethics violations

Fri Aug 29, 2008 at 01:34:28 PM PDT

As if we needed more proof that John McCain will represent more of the same in Washington, his newly annointed VP pic, Sarah Palin, is currently under investigation for ethics and personnel violations. Just a few weeks ago, the Alaska Legislature voted to spend up to $100,000 to investigate Palin's controversial firing of state Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan in July. (Folks, when the Alaska Legislature votes to spend 100 grand to investigate you for ethics violations, you know you're in trouble!) Monegan has claimed he was pressured by Palin's office to fire her ex-brother-in-law, Mike Wooten, who went through a bitter divorce from Palin's sister and is locked in a bitter child-custody battler with her. Yes, Sarah Palin would fit right in with the ethics-challenged Bush administration.

davidkc's diary :: ::
On August 20th, Palin placed her boards and commissions director, Frank Bailey, on paid leave due to the investigation. A few days earlier, an audiotape surfaced of a call that Bailey made on Feb. 29 to a trooper lieutenant, Lt. Rodney Dial:

Bailey told him during the conversation that Palin and her husband want to know why Wooten still has a job.

"Todd and Sarah are scratching their heads, 'Why on earth hasn't this, why is this guy still representing the department?' He's a horrible recruiting tool, you know," Bailey told the lieutenant.

Bailey made several accusations against Wooten in the call, including that he lied on his application. Dial asked Bailey how he knew about any issue with the application.

I used to be a recruiter. I know a lot of times that information is extremely confidential," Dial told him.

Bailey replied he was reluctant to say but saw the application as part of Wooten's worker's compensation claim. Bailey, later in the call, then brought up Monegan again.

"I'm telling you honestly, you know, she really likes Walt a lot, but on this issue, she feels like it's, she doesn't know why there is absolutely no action for a year on this issue. It's very, very troubling to her and the family. I could definitely relay that," Bailey said.

Oh, and whose wife is a rich bitch socialite on Daddy's money who steals Vicodin from non-profits and washes them down with Stoli.

But no matter. The brainstems will still vote for them.

Man...your judgement and views are so narrow and so blinded by your love of Obama that you can't even spot a good thing when it happens. Out of all the VP's he could have chosen, he picked the one that is probably the best choice for PRESIDENT. She has little experience, but her values are what matter to me.

Not that it matters...Obama and McCain are avid globalists and no matter who gets elected, the globalist agenda will continue.

I am surprised that you have been so foolishly duped, Keith, into thinking Obama will do anything good for this country. Perhaps you just hate McCain so much you'd be willing to vote for anyone.

You have lost your right to complain about bailouts, or socialism in general. Obama is a champion of socialist ideology in ALL of its forms.

It's fun to see how much hard-core Dems and hard-core Reps hate information that disagrees with their worldview

They seek safety and shelter in media sources that spoon feed their own beliefs back to them

i.e MSNBC and the NYT on the left, and Fox News on the right.

Bye-bye ideologues. Thanks for stopping by. Go back to your nice warm safe waters.

HP is a blog of intelligent free thinkers unburdened by political party. Idiots and ideologues need not apply

IF you listen to your own quips of wisdom on this blog, the Republicons have trumped the Dems.
IF you trully believe America is full of lemmings, then most women will vote for Sarah in hope that McCain drops dead. Sarah will take the Hillary vote and the Soccer Moms vote. She will carry the Christian right with her five children. Her Army son will carry the military vote.No way the minority will overcome this one.

The Dems are stumped. Obama's youth vs McCain's age is neutralized by Sarah. The bitchy, acrid negative nature of Hillary that scared even conservative Dems, is turned around by Sarah's softer, non lawyer plain and simple style.

Putting idiology aside, you got to give the Republicons credit that they outfoxed the Dems. Let the games begin.

While I was in Alaska last month I saw Sarah in action. Obama and Biden better start taking mental stimulants, this gal is sharp without carrying an aloof stature like Obama.

Last I checked, the state Obama represented for four years in the Senate and eight years in the state house had 12.8 million people

Why so much ignorance? Why can't hard core GOP'ers admit that this is a bad pick? The GOP would be better off if it did a Harriet Miers on her and got this hilarious pick to go away, to be replaced with someone viable.

Wise up people. You're just killing yourselves.

Independents like me are beside themselves. This is without doubt, hands down the worst Veep pick of the past 100 years. Worse than Agnew. Worse than Ferraro. Worse than Quayle.

But again, I don't think it'll stand. Give it a couple of days. And then McCain/Romney or McCain/Crist puts up a real fight.

Man, I can't stand hard core party members. They can't admit the truth, even when it's slapping them in the face.

Anonymous said...

Palin could be bad news for the Republicans. Unconventional running-mate choices (and a first term governor who until recently was the mayor of a town of about 9,000 people is certainly an unconventional pick) signal desperation. Confident candidates make safe picks. Candidates who are trailing and need to make big moves make unconventional ones. McCain is taking a big risk by picking Palin because he has to.

But the latter group keeps knocking at the door. But, in a free society that's what you get, and, in a weird way, what you want. It's frustrating though.

When people can't tell the difference between community college and Harvard Law School, that's a problem.

Most of us here had never heard of this woman before today. So GOP, what's next regarding appointments? Target checkout clerk becomes Secretary of Labor. Keith's sock puppet gets Ambassadorship?

What would Sarah Palin say if your daughter were raped? Sarah would say that the United States government should force your daughter to carry the baby to term and give birth.

What would Sarah Palin say to a 12 year old girl who had been raped and impregnated by her uncle? Again, Sarah would say that the United States government should force this child to carry the baby to term and give birth.

Great choice for women, huh?

Anonymous said...

Let's just be fair, here.

1. A community organizer in Chicago probably has way more responsibilities than the mayor of some podunk Alaskan town.

2. Obama is not running on experience, he's running on judgment, neither of which Ms. Palin appear to have.

3. Senator from one of the most populous districts in the country gets way more national and international experience than the governor of Alaska, a socialist welfare state with a population much smaller than any major US city.

4. Obama just proved his worth in a long, hard fought Primary where he faced off against tough opponents in debates on the economy and foreign policy. Palin is completely untested nationally.

5. McCain has just destroyed his own "experience" talking points by choosing someone who is less experienced than Obama to be his next in line, a heartbeat away from the presidency.

blogger said...

Obama spent 8 years in the state house, 4 years in the senate, was a law professor before that, and the head of the harvard law review before that.

Palin was a hockey mom, PTA, mayor of a town smaller than the number of people at your local walmart, and now governor of the 47th largest state for a matter of weeks.

Obama was also vetted by 18 of the most grueling months ever seen on the American campaign trail.

Get real. Not even close.

And Palin won't last more than a few days. If she does, and makes it all the way to the Veep debate, it'll be an embarrassment for the GOP.

When you make a mistake, admit it and move on. Don't build on it.

Oh, wait. McCain (and Bush) don't admit their mistakes. They just keep on digging.

Oh, this will be fun. I thought Quayle was fun. No, THIS will be fun.

"A former beauty queen doesn't mean she is a moron. I just can't take the Obama lovefest anymore...I'll just have to go visit another place from now on. :( I liked this website too..."

Agreed completely, as to this entire post.

I don't paricularly care for McCain, but will vote for him, and am more pleased in doing so due to his selection of Gov. Palin. Based, at least, on what we know about her so far.

I actually voted for Obama twice at the state level, including when he was first elected as my state senator in '96 and as my US Senator in '04. He's an incredibly bright man, and a great voice for his positions in the legislature. However, his political views, by and large, are not libertarian. And, while he may be a fine leader, his policies, by and large, are not those by which I want this country to be goverened. That judgment makes me an idealogue?

Your blanket characterization of anyone who would vote for McCain/Palin as as "hard core GOP," or worse, shows you to be either immature or ignorant.

It is too bad this website evolved as it has. I liked it too.

Anonymous said...

Palin more qualified than Obama? Uh-huh. Everyone knows that a journalism degree from a community college in Alaska followed by a stint as "Ms. Caribou" is the equivalent of 8 years at Harvard, appointed head of the prestigious Harvard review. Just ask any fortune 500 headhunter. No difference.

McCain’s ‘Hail Sarah’ Pass
His choice for veep is all but set up for failure in the fall.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/156258

Happy birthday, Johnny Mac! You're 72 now, a cancer survivor, and a presidential candidate who has said on many occasions that the most important criteria for picking a vice president is whether he or she could immediately step in if something happened to the president. Your campaign against Barack Obama is based on the simple idea that he is unready to be president. So you've picked a running mate who a year and a half ago was the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, a town of 8,500 people. You've selected a potential leader of the free world who knows little or nothing about the major issues of the day beyond energy. Oh, and she's being probed in her state for lying and abuse of power.

Scott said...

She has more experience than Obama. When she was the mayor, Obama was a community organizer.

McCain does what Obama couldn't. He finds a woman who is qualified, smart, and has more executive experience

Oh god, if this is the kind of IDIOCY and lack of reality we can find on THIS board--we're doomed!! Think how bad it is out in farmland!

Being mayor of 5000 people is a HOBBY. I have a programmer friend who is a mayor, but he's keeping his day job.

And she's been a governor for only two years--long enough to already be involved in an abuse of power scandal though.

This pick shows that, in addition to Obama being proven right on the Iraq war, right on a timetable, and right on talking to Iran, McCain now thinks he also right on youth trumping experience. And, he wants to avoid the disappointment of a later scandal by picking someone WHO ALREADY HAS ONE.

Oh, but that's right, only expensive hair cuts, flag pins, and scary middle names are a problem, not ABUSE OF EXECUTIVE POWER, which why you people voted for Bush, TWICE.

As electoral-vote.com says:

"Of the hundreds of governors, senators, congressmen, and business leaders available to you, do you really think that a 44-year old person who has two years' experience as governor of a thinly populated state is the best person in the country to be President of the United States after yourself?"

An IDIOT leading a party of IDIOTS. Q.E.D.

The good news is, this is looking more like a Republican Mondale/Ferraro ticket all the time--just wait until the debates LOL. Attack Dog Biden vs. the Baton Twirler? Geeeeez.

Who is Sarah Palin? Beauty Queen, devoted sister... socialist?

When the Alaska Creamery Board recommended closing Matanuska Maid Dairy, an unprofitable state-owned business, Palin objected, citing concern for the impact on dairy farmers and the fact that the dairy had just received $600,000 in state money. When Palin realized that the Board of Agriculture and Conservation appoints Creamery Board members, she simply replaced the entire membership of the Board of Agriculture and Conservation. The new board, led by businesswoman Kristan Cole, reversed the decision to close the dairy. The new board approved milk price increases offered by the dairy in an attempt to control fiscal losses, even though milk from Washington was already offered in Alaskan stores at lower prices. In the end, the dairy was forced to close, and the state tried to sell the assets to pay off its debts but received no bids.

I think Palin rocks, and it was a brilliant choice by McCain. He will cash in on votes from disgruntled Hillary supporters, soccer moms, Christians, independents, some libertarians, and conservatives.

Obama's judgment? His former business partner is in jail for fraud, his pastor of 20 years is a race-baiting bigot, one of his best friends is a unapologetic terrorist, and his choice for VP is a plagerist.

I'm willing to give him credit for his dubious claim that he was right about the war (dubious because he was not in the Senate to vote), but he was dead-wrong on the troop surge, so it's a wash in my book.

Your hypocritical mock outrage for anyone criticizing Obama is quite ironic. You post juvenile attacks in your blog, then anyone who disagrees with you in an intelligent manner is branded by you an idealogue, and ridiculed by you for failing to discuss the issues.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

In all your public ass-kissing of Obama, I've yet to read a single article by you regarding Obama's stance on the issues, and how you agree. The closest you have come is to admit that his housing policies are in conflict with yours...then you immediately go back to extolling his supposed greatness.

I have a challenge for you. List the policies of Obama that you agree with, and why. REAL policies of which he is on record, not something you fantasize about. By the way, "hope" and "change" are not policies, but campaign slogans.

Then do the same with McCain. REAL policies of his where you disagree, not talking points such as "he's 4 more years of Bush".

Given your lack of intelligent debate on the election, here are some suggestions for REAL issues: housing (since this is a housing blog), taxes, the economy, the war on terror, the environment, healthcare, government corruption, illegal immigration.

Then again, I guess it would be easier just to label me a Fox-watching, God-fearing right-wing idealogue than open the floor to intelligent debate.

I wouldn't place too much emphasis on the Harvard Law School pedigree. Late 1980s? Two words: Affirmative Action.

Was he smart enough to get in without preference? We'll never know. And, he has never released his grades or LSAT scores.

Sarah Palin is amazing!

When Mccain first made the announcement, I thought WTF? Is he nuts?!

Now, after listening to her speak, I think McCain is f%%%ing BRILLIANT!

She's smart, she's gutsy, and, best of all, she hasn't been sucking on the Wall Street teat to get where she is.

Chance of more Wall Street bailouts at the expense of hardworking Americans are OVER if McCain/Palin gets elected.

Absolutely brilliant. Thankyou McCain, for nominating someone with integrity.

I can't wait for the VP debate in October. She'll cream that banker-loving Biden.

America back to the People! Finally!

"gigi: 1. A community organizer in Chicago probably has way more responsibilities"

Unjustied logic like that is why I'm going Palin. She has 5 kids and her husband runs a fishing business and she became a governor. Most importantly, she's bringing in non-washington centered viewpoints.

I've recently switched from lifelong Democrat to Independent. The switch was in response to watching in horror for the past year and a half as the Democratic Congress demonstrated its' severe hatred of ordinary Americans with one scheme after another to try to keep home prices high, finally culminating in these despicable bailouts for Wall Street gamblers and all their deadbeat counterparts.

Obama is for the Bankers and the Bankers only. Biden is for the Bankers and the Bankers only.

Perhaps a McCain/Palin win can save ordinary Americans from the hellride the Dems have in store for us should they win.

Palin was a great choice.

Obviously, you have not heard her speak Keith, or you would KNOW she is a great choice.

She took on the Oil Companies in Alaska! That gal has Guts!

Commentary: Is McCain out of his mind?

http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/29/begala.palin/index.html

(CNN) -- John McCain needs what Kinky Friedman calls "a checkup from the neck up."

In choosing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate, he is not thinking "outside the box," as some have said. More like out of his mind.

Palin a first-term governor of a state with more reindeer than people, will have to put on a few pounds just to be a lightweight. Her personal story is impressive: former fisherman, mother of five. But that hardly qualifies her to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

For a man who is 72 years old and has had four bouts with cancer to have chosen someone so completely unqualified to become president is shockingly irresponsible. Suddenly, McCain's age and health become central issues in the campaign, as does his judgment.

That kind of mentality got us into the biggest foreign policy disaster in this country's history. It got us torture. It got us illegal wiretapping. It got us an economic collapse.

That crowd is hopeless. A cancer in America.

Palin was mayor of a tiny town a few weeks ago, with no record before that beyond the PTA. She is the most uniquely unqualified candidate in the country's history for president (remember, a good number of vp's became prez).

Yes, she's hot. She seems nice and bright. But good god, she is not ready for the unbelievably complex job of president.

37% of HP'ers have clicked that Palin is more qualified to be president than Biden. I hope they were laughing when they clicked that. Because if you truly, truly believe that, you are a fool.

An Astonishingly Arrogant V.P. Selection

It may be John McCain's birthday, but it seems like he's the one giving out gifts today. The selection of Palin doesn't simply, as others have pointed out, undermine the notion that Obama is too inexperienced to be president; it gives Obama the chance to actually take the edge on national security while making John McCain's age a central issue of the campaign.

Whatever the political calculations involved in picking a veep, the most important qualification for the vice presidency is the ability to assume the presidency in a crisis. Given that of the last 12 presidents, three have either died or resigned, this is hardly a hypothetical consideration--in fact, given that McCain is 72, it is a very real consideration. Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, and Gerald Ford all faced multiple foreign policy crises immediately upon assuming office, whether it was the onset of the Cold War, the North's invasion of South Korea, the Vietnam War, or the withering of détente and the resulting increase in nuclear tension with the Soviet Union. The next president will have to finish the denuclearization of North Korea; prevent the nuclearization of Iran; organize a departure from Iraq that maintains some level of stability; defeat a resurgent Taliban in Afghanistan; establish, nurture, and make the most of a relationship with Pakistan's new leaders; and confront a revanchist Russia while preserving and enhancing its cooperation on nonproliferation and climate change--to say nothing of working with India, China, or our allies.

Could Sarah Palin conceivably manage this task? Her tenure as a small-town mayor and Alaska governor has given her no foreign policy experience whatsoever. True, Obama has little foreign policy experience either, as McCain and others have pointed out again and again. But during his time in national office he has demonstrated a clear commitment to the most pressing issues in American foreign policy. Take nuclear proliferation. Early in his tenure on the Foreign Relations Committee, Obama joined Richard Lugar's efforts to secure weapons of mass destruction in the former Soviet Union. Obama's first trip abroad as senator was to Russia and Ukraine to learn more about those efforts firsthand. In 2007, he cosponsored legislation with Senator Chuck Hagel calling for ratification of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and negotiation of a fissile material cut-off treaty. And he was the first major presidential candidate to embrace the steps laid out in 2007 by Sam Nunn, Bill Perry, George Shultz, and Henry Kissinger through which the United States would fight nuclear terrorism, reinvigorate the nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, and ultimately eliminate nuclear weapons.

The Worst Vice-Presidential Nominee in U.S. History

There was a TV ad for deodorant that said, "Never let them see you sweat." The John McCain campaign has just showed the world that it is drenched.

Selecting Sarah Palin as its choice for a vice presidential candidate is perhaps the worst such choice in American History. To be fair, maybe there are worse choices, but I don't know how bad William O. Butler was when he ran with Lewis Cass against Zachary Taylor.

But it's far worse than Dan Quayle, who was a sitting senator. Worse even than Geraldine Ferraro, who at least served in Congress for three-terms. And far worse than William Miller, a choice so obscure when selected by Barry Goldwater that he (honestly) later did an American Express commercial asking, "Do you know me?" And that ad was after the election. But even Miller had been a Congressman for 12 years. And been a prosecutor during the Nuremberg War trials against Nazis. Sarah Palin lists her credits as a hockey mom.

2. Act as ceremonial head of the city;

State Senate President Lyda Green said she thought it was a joke when someone called her at 6 a.m. to tell her the news.

"She's not prepared to be governor. How can she be prepared to be vice president or president?" said Green, a Republican from Palin's hometown of Wasilla. "Look at what she's done to this state. What would she do to the nation?"

Green, who has feuded with Palin, brought up the big oil tax increase Palin pushed through last year. She also pointed to the award of a $500 million state subsidy to a Canadian firm to pursue a natural gas pipeline that's far from guaranteed.

House Speaker John Harris, a Republican from Valdez, was also astonished at the news. He didn't want to get into the issue of her qualifications. "She's old enough," Harris said. "She's a U.S. citizen."...

Do you ever wonder what some people see in a progressive blog like this that mainly deals with economic issues. Some of the comments on here are written by ideologues who probably know very little about economic issues and how they impact their country and the world. What's in it for them to keep hanging around, they are not going to have any impact unless they can make a reasonable argument that doesn't come off as party-driven dribble. There are plenty of other blogs for them to get their fix. If you hang around here please try to personal well-reasoned point to make without sounding strickly like a party hack, especially when it comes to economical issues!

Let's compare Pallin and Bush before his first election. Experience? Running a State as Governor. Both Oil States, both corrupt. Bush had a few years on Pallin, that's all. Bush's other mamangement skills were pitiful before he was Gov.

Bush survived 9/11 by using the people around him. The hypothetical Pres Pallin would do the same.

At least Pallin seems to have some brains that Bush the frat boy hid with his stupid grinnin' and jokin'

Abortion is still the main divisive issue between many people left and right. An intelligent pro-life woman is going to be very welcome among conservatives and highly feared among progressives. Attempts to paint her with sexist stereotypes is a strategy doomed to backfire. She's probably more intelligent than you - certainly more successful. Careful.

So now the republicans have a ticket consisting of:

A hockey mom whose biggest task was making sure the kids didn't eat yellow snow and who when she did get some power, fired a state worker who wouldn't fire the state trooper who was divorcing her sister.

An albino freak who spent 5 years in a cage eating bugs after being too stupid to avoid capture, who crashed several gazillion dollar planes and who is too stupid to NOT live in Arizona where albino freaks are destined to get skin cancer. Oh, and whose wife is a rich bitch socialite on Daddy's money who steals Vicodin from non-profits and washes them down with Stoli.

But no matter. The brainstems will still vote for them.

Still better than the Dems who have a ticket consisting of:
A shill bought and paid for by the big banks who want to get their money’s worth and whose son is a lobbyist for the same groups that own Joe’s vote.
A Chicago boy who’s only leadership experience is playing with his Star Wars toys before being told that an affirmative action appointment to Harvard qualified him for President. A boy who grew up being indoctrinated into racism at a church he claims to not remember going to, by a minister he calls his uncle, but threw under the bus for telling the truth. A boy who considers among his friends an admitted terrorist with aims at the Pentagon and a convicted felon who helped buy his house (wonder how much that would cost the people for him to repay his services). A boy who uses those who are close to him and care for him as shields against any criticism (how proud his mother and grandmother must be to hear themselves described as typical white women—they should have drowned the ungrateful little bastard as an infant). A man who married a woman who claims to idolize her father who got up with a debilitating disease and worked and struggled to put her and her brother through school, but who slaps his memory in the face by saying the government could have done better for her, and who is only proud to be an American because her husband is somehow slipping through to the possibility of the White House.
How far up your ass is your head to believe St. Barry has a better ticket.

Or maybe that's what you want? 2012 comes pretty quick.

So of all those people he represented, what leadership did he provide?
(crickets chirping…,)
Okay, let’s try an easy one. What laws has he written or sponsored that have been even a little dangerous to his career, or against party lines?
(“Oh look! Tumbleweed)
The truth is, Keith you and all the other little Obamatons are scared now because Palin cancels out the only thing St. Barry had going for him. Now all they have is “If you don’t vote for me, you’re racist!” How far do you think that will get him? I thought it was an interesting choice until I saw MSNBC (a station as completely in the bag for St. Barry as they accuse Fox of being for any republican, and apparently Keith’s source of what goes on in American politics). When I saw them scrambling to get fat, ugly, lesbians (as opposed to normal, everyday lesbians that I see all over Southern Cal) talking about what a poor pick Palin was, I was convinced that McCain is craftier than St. Barry gave him credit for. Your fear and anger over this choice confirms it Keith.

2. Obama is not running on experience, he's running on judgment, neither of which Ms. Palin appear to have.

Where exactly is this great judgment you claim he exudes?
August 30, 2008 1:25 AM

Exactly right! Additionally, how much hope and change will Biden help bring, being that he has been in Senate longer than McCain, and is more entrenched in shadiness and politics as usual. Biden seems to be playing the part of the Democratic Cheney. Pulling strings when he couldn’t get the nomination legitimately.
