Oh, please be Sarah Palin for vice president.. Please be Palin... But that would be too good to be true of course (since it would destroy McCain)

[UPDATE FOLLOWS]

"Biggest political gamble I believe just about in American political history...that is not hyberbole. I can think of no choice of VP that approaches this"

- Pat Buchanan, August 29, 2008

Mitt Romney? Tom Ridge? Lindsay Graham? Rudy? Tim Pawlenty? Mike Huckabee? Kay Baily Hutchinson? Condi Rice? Charlie Crist?

Noooo!!! Nope, John McCain believes Sarah Palin is the best and most qualified person in the Republican party to take his place if he kicks off (he is kinda old). President Sarah Palin.

John McCain is an unacceptable and dangerous candidate for the office of President. And he has now proven himself to be the unstable and unintelligent doofus we feared he was.

This race is over, and it will be a historic landslide. Unless Palin pulls a Harriet Miers and withdraws in the next few hours or days (which I think is likely). Or the GOP pulls its head out of its ass and gets McCain to withdraw, and a viable candiate runs in his place.

The GOP die-hards must be reeling today.

Picture the Biden - Palin debate (if it happens). Poor girl. Seriously, poor girl. Getting her ready in a few weeks will be impossible. "OK, Sarah, there's a country called Georgia. And there's another country called Kazakhstan... And now let's get you up to speed on organizations. There's one called the UN. There's another one called the EU..."

Who is Sarah Palin? Seriously, I have no idea who she is.

You are again drinking from Obama's koolaid jar if you think this will hurt McCain. It will be exactly the opposite. You are totally out of touch with America Keith, too much time in Euro zone. She is every bit as qualified as Obama for the top office based on life experience

Investigation to begin into whether Governor Sarah Palin abused her power in firing Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan

Lawmakers will hire someone within a week to investigate whether Governor Sarah Palin abused her power in firing Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan. The legislative council approved 100,000 dollars for the investigation that will find out whether Palin was angry at Monegan for not firing an Alaska State Trooper who went through a messy divorce with Palin's sister.

Sarah Who?

He picked a woman in the hopes that disaffected Hillary voters will vote for him now.

Seems like the move of a desperate man.

Won't matter much after we start throwing around the Keating 5 facts.

brokersleaveyoubroke said...

Maybe he thinks he'll pick up the votes of the disgruntled people who wanted Hillery to run. If she is the pick then that means that next year we'll have either a black man or a woman in the executive branch. It just warms my heart that this is sooooooo going to piss off Carl Rove who was pushing so hard to get Romney in as VP. Christian conservatives will find nothing to like on a McCain-Palin ticket.
I would not be surprised if Rove starts a slander campaign to torpedo her.

At least you're STILL a New York Senator and they Love You in Arkyville. Maybe they will let you and Mr. Bill stay a few nights in the Lincoln bedroom for the memories...

LIVE by the throttle, DIE by the throttle.

Alaska. BIG state! SMALL poplulation. Even smaller government. Smaller than NYC! Minimal TAXES!!! Revenue comes from oil royalties. They actually mail out a check to residents. So how has this governor had to make ANY tough choices? What are her qualifications in a state that has more money to spend than they do projects? She may be a competent administrator, but her political impact will rival that of Dan Quaile.

Anonymous said...

I like the choice a lot better than biden since Palin will anchor us back into american values.

Moreover, the news networks have more than enough foreign policy hacks that McCain can tap.

Two years ago, Palin was part-time mayor of a village of 6,000. Today, she's supposedly ready to step in to run this country in the eventuality that Sen. McCentury can no longer perform those duties?

You're a little freaked out now eh ? LOL !!!

McCain is +/- even in the polls.

B. Hussein Obama is a FIRST TERM senator....she is a FIRST TERM governor. IMHO a governor is a more responsible a position than a senator. But let's both are inexperienced.

Let me see....the speech at the "Barackoplis" last night was full of rhetoric, but "where's the beef" ? Who know hwere she stands. Her life is a chronihle of character.....Hussein's is without.

Think of all the democratic women who will now give the Republicans a second hard look.......yet I doubt there will be any significant number of black Republicans (ther aren't many anyways, correct ?)looking at the democrats right now.

ROTFLMAO.....!!!! You clowns have been sideswiped !!!!

I find myself, once again, standing alone against Keith and all of the other comments here.

I think it was a smart choice, a good choice, and the right choice.

I look forward, as always, to everyone telling me why I was wrong. But then again, I’ve been saying for months that picking a woman was the smart choice for McCain. The only surprise I have is that he actually did it.

Consider this if you will:

The real problem with the Bush administration is not Bush/Cheney themselves, it was the neo-con influence that destroyed both the Republican party and this country for the last eight years.

The neo-cons are the root of nearly everything that has gone wrong: the smug self-righteous attitude, the my-way-or-the-highway mentality, the shoot first, think later philosophy, and the total brain-dead economics.

Yes, Bush is the president, but he is not a thinker. He goes in the direction he is led, and he is being led by the neo-cons.

The neo-cons were insisting on either Romney or Rudy. By picking Palen, McCain has put a well-deserved thumb in the eye of the neo-cons.

This country survived Dan Quayle, the country survived Walter Mondale, Spiro Agnew and Nelson Rockefeller; it can survive Sarah Palen if it comes down to it.

Given the original primary field; given the possible pitfalls of a Romney or Rudy or Clinton presidency, and considering what this country has been put through in the last eight years of scorched-earth politics, I think that Obama/Biden vs McCain/Palen is about as close to a win-win as we’re going to get.

I honestly don't get it. Worst pick I've ever seen. I honestly don't get it.

Only thing I can think of is the GOP knows they're going to lose, so to go down with a woman on the ticket so they can position themselves better in 2012 as an inclusive (i.e. not all white men) party

But if he wanted a woman, Kay Baily Hutchinson or Libby Dole were waaaaaaaaay more qualified to be president.

The oldest candidate ever should not have picked the least qualified veep ever. Worse than Ferraro. Worse than Quayle.

His campaign is a debacle. Too bad, I wanted an interesting race. Now we have a blowout.

Unless strange things happen on the way to November. I don't see Palin lasting the week.

McCain is insane.

But damn, if this sticks, I can't wait for the VP debate. Popcorn for everyone!

Since you don't get it, Keith, let me explain that to you:

1. Hussein vomits about change, but who's showing himself as a change candidate? McCain by picking the FIRST WOMAN VP. Bang!

2. Hussein vomits about Washington politics. But McCain is already doing something about it by picking a VP who made her name as a whistle blower against politic malfeasance. Kapow!

3. Hussein vomits about GOP being about Washington insiders, including the Clintons. McCain picked a VP who's NOT a political insider at all. Splat!

4. According to recent polls and because of recent moves from Putin, about 75% of Americans are for oil drilling. Well, here we have a VP who's from Alaska and with projects for a pipeline. Meanwhile, Hussein and his corrupt Democratic leaders haven't come up with an energy policy. One week Hussein is against drilling, then next week he's in favor. One week he's against Nuclear energy, then next week he's all for it. Zap!

5. Mrs. Sara Palin is hot, has experience as a mayor and 2 years as a governor, after running against two formidable opponents. Hussein has 116 days experience voting "present" in the Senate. Boom!

Glad to help, buddy.

Hurricane-force winds, heavy rain hit Phoenix area
The Associated Press
Article Launched: 08/29/2008 06:32:14 AM PDT

PHOENIX—A series of fast-moving thunderstorms packing winds of up to 100 mph plowed through the Phoenix area, leaving tens of thousands without power, briefly shutting down the airport and ripping the roof off a brand-new college football facility.
There were no immediate reports of injuries from Thursday's storms.

Arizona Public Service Company said Friday morning it still had 32,000 customers without electricity, while Salt River Project estimated 11,000 of its customers were without power. At the height of the storm, about 100,000 homes and businesses without power.

Power for many downtown traffic signals was still out as the morning rush began, and some traffic delays were reported.

The storm swept into the city at about 9 p.m., dumping up to a 1 1/2 inches of rain and three-quarter-inch hail in some areas.

Sky Harbor International Airport was shut down for about an hour during the height of the storm, which blew out of the area by about midnight. Flight delays continued early Friday as crews worked to remove debris blown onto the runways.

National Weather Service meteorologist Leslie Wanek said Sky Harbor recorded peak winds of 75 mph, but radar indicated gusts of up to 100 mph in parts of the metro area.

In Tempe, Arizona State University officials said the storm damaged the school's new $8.4 million indoor practice facility that's mostly used for football.

A witness said the fabric roof on the structure was

shredded and the bubble dome had completely deflated.
The 103,500-square-foot facility was completed this month.

Hundreds of trees in central and uptown Phoenix were downed, and a large section of roofing from a new condominium complex was torn off and thrown hundreds of feet, landing on the lines powering the city's soon-to-open light rail line.

Windows were blown out of at least one high-rise building downtown.

Oh I think the GOP will be thrilled with this pick, its the DEMS who are sweating. What are they gonna say she isnt qualified? Oh gee isnt that the pot calling the kettle black, shouldn't the Dem ticket be reversed, the most qualified person is the VP on their ticket. Oh and the debate, yeah lets see i guess Biden might look better if he steals a bunch of speeches but oh wait that will be alot harder no with the internet oh what will he say with his own words.... maybe something about dunkin doughnuts??? or perhaps what he said when he was giving his speech after being into'd as the VP that his wife is hot but that shes smart and that I guess we will just have to deal with that(yeah I hate those pretty smart women to, dont we all like them dumb). Yeah the debate ought to be fun and she destroys him.

It's retarded 'cause Romney should have been the front runner, all along. McCain was a joke from the get-go, even before the "what's a rich person?/no of houses?" remarks. I don't think the Republican party can try to pretend to be Democratic, with a Ferraro-like move. It's suppose to be conservative and steadyfast but w/o the crazy neo-cons/pro-military b.s. which a Romney/Frist ticket could have been. Instead, they're trying some loonie-post-tramatic VietVet/North Slope roughnecker-Maverick hockey mom combo as a way of revitalizing and separating from Bush and Co. That's pretty pathetic. That's like Andy Griffith trying to be Snake Plissken just to seem cool and hip.

I think you overestimate the intelligence of the American people, Keith.

Do you think they care whether Sarah Palin knows where to find the "Stans" on a map?

This is the land of pop tarts Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

This is the nation that voted TWICE for an alcoholic, silver spoon fed, elite family, draft dodging, lazy, dumb, multiple business failure, Skull and Bones Yalie because they were fooled into thinking he was a cowboy from Texas !!

They thought Dubya was a down to Earth one of the good old boys!! They thought he was a "war hero" when he landed on that aircraft carrier and said "Mission Accomplished"!!!

Here's what the average American sees:

On the left: A scary black man with a Muslim name and an arrogant prick named Biden.

On the right: A white "war hero" who is not afraid of "the terrorists" and a cute young white lady that they wouldn't mind having a cup of coffee with.

Let's not forget that this is the population that voted for McCain as Republican nominee because they thought he was the anti-war candidate!!

BwahahahaAHAHAHAA!!! We're all doomed!!!

Maybe it's just that you and the other Obama followers on this board are more than a little worried that this will really fuel McCain's support.

And BTW, I think the "poor girl" is an excellent choice. She seems to have more grit than either Obama or Biden...and for the amount of time she has been in office she has an impressive track record.

Its obvious youve never hear this woman speak. Razor sharp, disarmingly charming, down-to earth and witty... she is a commanding presence the likes of which I havent seen since - well since Obama. Trust me, she will have no problem hanging with Biden.

I heard her speak a few years ago in DC. I was there for work paying no attentio to the speeches of various speakers, but when she spoke I stopped in stunned slience and remarked, who is this woman - shes F'ing awesome!

As a loyal dem - I remember thinking, thank god shes a woman, the repubs will never even know what they have here...well apparently they found her and we are in trouble.

Politico -- Palin won loud cheers from what was McCain’s largest rally yet by highlighting her gender.

She paid homage to Geraldine Ferraro , as well as to Hillary Rodham Clinton.

“It was rightly noted in Denver this week that Hillary left 18 million cracks in the highest, hardest glass ceiling in America,” Palin said. “But it turns out the women of America aren't finished yet, and we can shatter that glass ceiling once and for all.”

In selecting Palin, McCain counters the historic nature of Barack Obama’s candidacy. She’s young —three years younger than Obama — and she’s a woman

Anonymous said...

If you look at these VP choices from the perspective of a Tennis match or chess game, McCain's choice is a good move and makes Obama look foolish shooting himself in the foot by not putting Clinton on the ticket.

Now after all the hype is over and the emotions have settled we are all going to be left scratching our heads thinking "wow that was a good ballgame but what the hell are we left with?"

Two lame-duck tickets. It does not matter who wins, it will be business as usual. Pretty much anything will look like a positive change after Mr. Bush high-tails it back to Texas.

Everyone will either be saying "Look how cool we are, we have a black president" or "Look how cool we are, we have a woman Vice President. America rocks! I am proud to be an America kumbaya
kumbaya" and soon after we'll realize that the country is just as screwed as it was before.

Oh. So NOW experience matters?

But, it didn't matter for Obama, or for Ron Paul, before him.

If you actually cared to look, you would see that Gov. Palin is FAR closer to Ron Paul than any of the other three individuals on the major party tickets.

Anonymous said...

As a Ron Paul supporter, all I can say about Gov. Palin being selected as our next VP is...how refreshing!

Gov. Palin is a Washington-OUTSIDER, she values life (anti-abortion), she's a mom with 5 kids and is married to a working-class guy. I know she's inexperienced in the "ways of D.C.", but maybe, just maybe that's what we need right now. Heck, I wish the ticket were the other way around, with McCain as VP and Palin as President!

A side note...Obama has just had ALL of the wind taken from his sails after last nights great speech. This election is over...McCain/Palin will wind by a large margin.

Anonymous said...

After she gets her makeover squared away, I actually think Palin is a great choice. She will appeal to women, small town folks, conservatives and the religious right.

Also, Obama needs to be very careful what he says about Palin as the sisterhood is watching closely....

Still not voting for either of these guys.

back to the point, mccain is going to get a HUGE amount of women vote with this. if you don't think a bunch of the women that wanted hillary will now vote mccain, you don't know women.

and palin is bats 1000 in the most important thing to women, FAMILY AND CHILDREN! women defend and fight for thier children like nothing else in this world. i've personally seen my wife go toe to toe with a neighbor defending our children. do not under estimate the motherly instinct man, do not do it. it is a very powerful and very beautiful thing.

unless the dems find some dirt on her in the family values arena(shes a former stripper/hooker, abused her kids, uses drugs, something), this babies over. i'm tellin you, if a women has kids, those kids ARE the ONLY THING that matters to her. and knowing that mentality, which way do you think most of them will vote?

"Since you don't get it, Keith, let me explain that to you:

1. Hussein vomits about change, but who's showing himself as a change candidate? McCain by picking the FIRST WOMAN VP. Bang!"

Because the first Black presidential nominee means more of the same?

"2. Hussein vomits about Washington politics. But McCain is already doing something about it by picking a VP who made her name as a whistle blower against politic malfeasance. Kapow!"

You are defined by the cmpany you keep...come on, all that money and corruption up there, and she was the shining star of rightousness...hmmm.

"3. Hussein vomits about GOP being about Washington insiders, including the Clintons. McCain picked a VP who's NOT a political insider at all. Splat!"

She does not even have enough experience to find the door to the capitol building - let alone get inside.

"4. Zap!"

Nuclear, I agree, he should have been for it, however on the energy policy, he has been VERY clear about what he wants. Oil drilling was just a stop gap measure, whereas McSame thinks it is a solution. Dumb....

"5. Mrs. Sara Palin is hot, has experience as a mayor and 2 years as a governor, after running against two formidable opponents. Hussein has 116 days experience voting "present" in the Senate. Boom!"

That is exactly what I want in office if McOld fart kicks, a hottie. She can be my concubine, mistress, waitress, or personal dancer, but NOT my VP especially with the OLDEST presidential candidate in history.....

Boom, Pow, Kaployee and whatever else you got from Batman reruns. At least Obama tries to surround himself with experience even if he does not know all. McCain just keeps making bad decisions, AND HE IS NOT EVEN ELECTED YET. Scary if he does get elected....

I'm actually pretty surprised by how politically clueless a few HP'ers are

Even the hardest of the hard-core GOP should take off the rose colored glasses, and understand that this pick makes McCain non-viable.

Like hard-core Dems knew that the Mondale/Ferraro ticket was doomed.

There were more qualified women, if that's what McCain wanted to do - not pick the best candidate, but the best based on gender.

Condi Rice, Kay Baily Hutchinson, Libby Dole, even Meg Whitman or that HP CEO.

But good god, this pick is seriously unreal. La-la land.

Like nominating Harriet Miers to the supreme court, this pick should be withdrawn. And if it's not, and we get to the VP debate with Biden vs. Palin, oh, wow.

Plus McCain shot his whole "not ready" argument about Obama in the foot. He killed his own campaign theme.

It's bizarre. It doesn't make sense.

Unless the Republicans have decided to take a dive, knowing 2009 - 2011 are going to be hell. And regroup in 2012.

Now that makes sense.

Palin kicked the incumbent republican governor out of office and has made ethics in politics one of her signature items. She is also supposed to look young and female, the latter for all disappointed female Hillary supporters (there are a lot). She has, however, to survive the debate with Biden on foreign policy, economy (Alaska has no debt), and on abortion and all "women subjects".

DENVER

A MASTER was at work last night. A politician who can inspire hope filled in the blanks of his program and articulated his vision with skill and panache.

Barack Obama, never short on inspiration, gave us specifics. He delivered a State of the Union Address, laying out his programs fully and well. He gave exactly the right speech with the right delivery and balance of detail and rhetoric.

And he wove his background and his philosophy into and around his proposals, combining moving words with specific proposals. The speech will surely give him the bounce he needs - turning a deadlocked race into a potential landslide.

Absolutely brilliant move. If you ever played Chess game you will understand it for the following reasons:

1. John McCain made the Dems attack the Red Cape ,instead of the Matador. He diverted their attention to attack the cape.

2. They played down inexperience question for a moronic corrupt Presidential candidate. The more they attack her inexperience for #2 slot, the more they will highlight BO's inexperience for #1 slot. VPs can always be trained on the Job. Presidents are expected to be ready from day #1.

3. Some % of Disenfranchised Hillary voters will vote for McCain. I dont know what % that will be. I estimate about 5 to 10%, even as high as 15%. Thats enough to tilt the election in McCain's favor. And it will also help down ballot races for Republican party.

And as for you Keith, I got nothing more to say about you why you have become self destructive to ruin this blog and made it a free ,advertizment to a most unqualified candidate ever run for this office. You proved to be an absolute idiot ,as usual.

blogger said...

Do I have a typo somewhere? Yes, Palin is the first GOP woman VP candidate, not first VP candidate. Ferraro (who was almost equally unqualified) got destroyed with Mondale 49 to 1 in 1984, running against Reagan's masterful "morning in America" campaign

You know, one based on hope instead of fear

I think we should all not get too excited about Palin though. This could end up being a 48-hour pick. Then Romney steps in, and it's a real race again.

They all share that with Palin. They are also all connected to Bush and business as usual, unlike Palin but like St. Barry and the Babysitter.

Biden is about to get his balls handed to him. Her son is going to Iraq as an infantryman. Like a lot of people's sons and daughters at home. His son is JAG. If he even touches a weapon, it will be to present it as evidence as to how evil America is.

Her other child has Down's Syndrome, and she made the difficult choice to keep the child and to raise it, like every other mother out there would. His other child is a lobbyist for groups that have bought and paid for Biden and St. Barry's careers.

She has experience in leading. Biden-nope, Obama-nope. The fact that you and all the other liberal mouthpieces are shitting yourselves trying to portray her as somehow less qualified than your own pathetic choice only goes to prove that St. Barry is toast.

he he he he haw haw haw haw now that was funny when i saw it on tv. i said who the hell is she, never heard of her before (the same reaction people had to obama) and she is young and cute, and the first question i asked was did she give it up (johnny boy did like lookin at her didn't he) and is she smarter than obama (didn't sound like it) and does she even know anymore than obama (apparently it doesn't really matter) so what is the republican argument about age and knowledge (and obama isn't bad looking either) so i say what does it take to be either a president or vice president to make people happy, I think you just gotta be white. he he he he he haw haw haw haw haw oh I forgot pictures of Geraldine Ferraro played in my head like one of those penny hand crank movies at the county fair. Thanks McCain.

only a non-Christian would support the war.

only a religious bigot would judge somebody based on the religion of a father they never knew.

BushCo: we blow'em up and then build'em up; making money both ways since 2003.

Obama is this country's last hope.

Wow. One would think you'd run out of people who are "fed up and leaving this blog for good" at some point. But, no. Every time you post about Obama or McCain, more and more of them magically appear to tell you they are leaving forever.

" This election is now over; on so many levels, selecting Palin was the absolute smartest move McCain could have made. "

But not as dumb as I thought you were. Only a fool would bet on McCain in 2008. This race is over.

"His dad was Muslim"

And my dad was both a drunkard and a racist. So far, as a social drinker, I'd only gotten completely slothed on New Years (along with everyone else at the party) and my friends are from all over the world and of various races and ethnicities.

Let's not kid ourselves Keith, you were hoping for Tom Ridge. Then the 'out of touch' thing would start to stick like glue.

Ridge is an unbelievably poor and boring communicator. Romney is also boring, but not to the same degree. McCain made the right choice.

Damn, it's been a bad couple of weeks for the dems.

I typically agree with you hombre, but in this case I think you're the one that's insane. I think this is a great choice... in fact, I decided today that instead of not voting I am actually going to go to the trouble to get the stupid absentee ballot just so I can vote for this woman. You're right, in a debate about foreign policy Biden will probably smoke her. But energy policy? Being a good and decent person? An agent of "change"? She's going to call him out for exactly what he is... a career hack. Its been a long time since I truly LIKED a politician. I know its early, but I honestly like this woman.

Wow, you guys mean to tell me that Sarah Palin had the courage to “take on” a Governor who had an 18% approval rating and ended up finishing 3rd in a GOP primary?

What this pick really tells us about John McCain is that he thinks he will live forever. A 72 year old who questions the readiness of a 4 year US Senator who served 8 years in the state legislator and was President of the Harvard Law Review is willing to put someone “one heartbeat” away from the Presidency who is not even a 2 year Governor of a pork addicted outpost in the northern wilderness whose previous experience consists of running a city 1/4th the size of Valdosta.

What’s with McCain’s former-beauty-queen complex?

I remember when you were a Ron Paul fan, Keith, and I have been mystified by your throwing-in with Obama. I watched the 80k dwellers in Plato's Mile High Cave cheering at the temple images, and shook my head. It's early, but so far I find Palin far more formidable than Barky or Biden, and think it may have been an ingenious choice.

I see a lot of quotes to the effect of Sarah not knowing where Georgia is I would like to know if any one on this post or in Washington could point out Alaska on a map if they can see what Alaska borders IE:2 foreign countries one of which is Russia.

Heard she had a downs kid. Is that Trig?

Wonder what she looks like when she undoes her bun.

I swear I heard her say ""I had promised Todd a little surprise for the anniversary present and hopefully he knows that I did deliver." Oh, you mean vp pick?

I bet you a stack of high society, that's right, $10,000, that the GOP wins in November. I'm setting up my BetFair details soon. Let me know when you're ready.

What do you expect from a guy who finished in the bottom 1% of his graduating class? Just what we need another low intelligence president.

Would you rather watch that lop-ear Obama or that fake smile of Biden for four years?

Or watch that total babe for eight???

Check Mate!

Folks, you’re looking at this the wrong way.

Is this pick bad for McCain? Who cares. This election will not be the status quo. It’ll shake things up a bit.

We’re going to have one of these scenarios:

A black president
A female VP
Or a third party (Go Ron Paul!)
In office.

Let's see here, Miss Alaska is the Gov for the wilderness welfare state of Alaska. About 600,000 people. Before that she was a part time mayor of 5,000 people and was also involved in the PTA! WOW! That sure beats a US Senator representing IL and was a State Senator before that.

You Republicans on this thread are just like your republican party: morally, ethically, and intellectually bankrupt.

Bye Bye Repubs. Enjoy your next 40 years in the wilderness. No, not Alaska, but as the minority party in Congress

Actually, this accentuates the Obama isn't qualified.

She has equivalent, arguably better, experience than Obama.

Except that she is a real reformer, fighting corruption, rather than rhetorical reformer of Obama who carries the democratic line.

The harder the attack, the easier the redirect to O.

By all means, let's compare Obama's unremarkable stint carrying water for the Cook county political machine in the state legislature to Palin's experience as a mayor.

The harder you attack her, the harder the redirect on Obama's history hacking for corrupt urban political machines. This is difficult to bring up, until the Dems make it a fair issue.

God I hate the low IQ republicans on this blog.

ain't there a blue collar comedy special y'all could be watchin'? here's one: if you voted for George Dubya, twice, (say it with me now) then you might be a redneck...

Should be grand.

Some folks here are mad at McCain for choosing a VP ALMOST AS INEXPERIENCED AS OBAMA.

What a hoot.

Anonymous said...

McCain! You horny old geezer. Perfect pick; A Hokey MILF as VP! Sure helps us country folk connect with your cause. Four more years!

Repus: The point is that McCain nominated someone with the same quality (no experience) that he criticized Obama for.

--Repus: The point is that McCain nominated someone with the same quality (no experience) that he criticized Obama for.---

Nope.

The point is that all who find worry in the inexperience of McCain's VP pick should have even more to worry about regarding the greater inexperience of the Dem's Prez Pick.

All Ironical, ain't it ;)
