Failures.

BOTH parties failed the American people

BOTH parties are corrupted by lobbyists and corporate interests

BOTH parties are to blame for America's economic and foreign policy mess

And anyone who still unquestioningly supports EITHER party is complicit

Vote the bums out this November. All of 'em. And keep voting the bums out until they get the message

LIAR!!

Democrats are wonderful. Once they control the house, senate, presidency and supreme court all will be well.

PS: gas was at $2.50 when Nancy and Harry took over.

You have to look at gerrymandering

This is why the same bums stay in year in and year out THE DISTRICTS ARE FIXED for one party or the other

Enjoy the DIE OFF said...

Just e-mailed Feinstein, Boxer and Bella Lugosi Pelosi this rant with my added comments.

Really, it felt GOOD. Too bad we cannot imbed taser probes into these corrupt bums and when they lie (talk)just give them a little shot of their own medicine from time-to-time...

Californians, it's PAST time all three Grandmas are thrown under-the-bus to suffer a very public and humiliating career death...

Remove ALL incumbents, especially Liberal Grandmas in California...

Enjoy the DIE OFF

As a recovering Yellow Dog Democrat I cound't agree more. There are barely even shades of difference, the only distinction is in the nature of the lies that precede the rape.

Obama will CHANGE things, we promise!

The Democratic congress just signed on (by WIDE margin) to expanding the wiretap rights of our government.

This was the one thing they said they would fight till the end.

What a laugh? Voting them out is too good for them....

Keith,
How about putting up a poll on who is willing to vote against all political incumbents in the next election (with perhaps the exception of Ron Paul)?
If this country is to survive we must start a grass roots revolution and drive the corrupt politicians from office. We need to begin to believe and act on the idea that it is up to us to return this nation to sane policy.

bitterrenter said...

By all means, return control to the republicans.

After 30 years of conservative dominance, that should put 90% of you in tents over the next 30.

Or perhaps you could support that magical "third way" where you get a first rate country and don't have to pay for it!

What you brainstems fail to realize is that the Congress acted on the priorities you elected them to carry out- tax cuts for the rich, immediate gratification over a vision for the future, neglect of the infrastructure, indifference to the needs of the masses. You were too busy electing them to create increasingly draconian punishments for crime, end a woman's right to an abortion and stopping gays from marrying. Those are the issues most elections of the last 30 years were decided upon.

Now enjoy what you've done. You can replace every member of Congress all but their replacements will be no different as long as the same brainstems-YOU- elect them.

Anybody who says they want to cut off the nuts of somebody who has no nuts to begin with is just stupid enough for public office.

If Hillary had gotten the nomination, then I'd vote for a third party or independent.

However, with that nutjob wacko Obama running, I feel I have no choice to vote for McCain, no matter how crooked and slimy he may be. Anything is better than Taliban Obama.

Voting out all incumbents is idiotic. While I suppose that'd be very American, why wouldn't you leave 3 - 5 people that have a clue (which every party) that would then have seniority?

I'm generally happy with my two "liberal" state senators so why the heck would I want to vote them out and likely end up with some inexperienced extremists?

Wow, I could not have said it better. Remember in the last election, every right-wing nut job was out villifying anyone who was not a perfect Christian family unit. God forbid they would have to practice TOLERENCE. While all these idiots were debating whether you need to add an amendment to the constitution defining marriage as between a man and a woman, the banking industry was raping our citizens, Bush and the cronies were putting our kids further in debt to China for "the war on terror", oh and then there is the department of Homeland Insecurity - I guess you could say that now we are on "high alert" for the US to go down in a flaming hulk of a mess.

As far as the "evil doers" the reason we have not had a terrorist attack, is quite frankly, once Bush was elected, the "terrorists" figured they don't need to bother, they are making money while we destroy ourselves. No bombs needed.

Bitterenter and the Democratic party priorities:

1. Gay Marriage
2. Abortion as birth control, because it's so hard to buy a condom or take a pill with a glass of water everyday.
3. Section 8 and food stamps for the welfare queens who show up to get free goodies driving a Escalade or Camrys.

We can really see the good job that the ultraliberals did in California the past 20 years. And idiots still live in that rip-off state, paying taxes and fees up the wazoo to support all the welfare parasites. Good thing that the same Birkenstock and abortion lovers who destroyed California are now moving into Oregon and WA en masse. Why do you think that real estate isn't sinking that much there?

So get the popcorn and watch ultraliberal Californians destroying OR and WA, just like they did to CA. Oh, the Mexicans and welfare queens will follow them because they need ultraliberal taxpayer fools to support their a$$es while they breed like flies.

Here's a little reality check on the excellent job ultraliberals are doing in the West Coast:

The National Insurance Crime Bureau today released its Hot Wheels 2008 auto theft report for vehicles stolen in 2007

Four of the top 10 hot spots for auto thefts are in California, with all four of those in the top five. Modesto, Calif., ranks at No. 1, with San Diego/Carlsbad/San Marcos, Calif., in the third spot; Stockton, Calif., in fourth; and San Francisco/Oakland/Fremont, Calif., in fifth place. The city in third place, the only one in the top five not in California, is Las Vegas/Paradise.

I stopped voting a number of years ago and became active instead. I figured out that voting doesn't do anything and I was just wasting 15 minutes of my time going down to the voting booth.

Stop voting. When it comes to the point where only 35%of eligible voters actually vote in a Presidential election, people will then take stock of the awful situation we are in and then we will have real change.

You are ridiculous. Voting out everyone without giving thought to the opponent is stupid. Would you vote out Ron Paul? Yeah didn't think so.

Whenever I read a a post like Anonymous 10:46, I smile. Then I laugh and a wave of smug satisfaction washes over me as I imagine the brainstem who wrote it and his dull offspring suffering under the effects that 30 years of conservative-dominated governmental policy has had on the country.

I giggle like a fool when I picture him living in relative squalor, anxiety-ridden over his shrinking lot in life, as he sees his kids inheriting a society that is harsh, cruel and indifferent to them.

Then I practically piss myself with glee as I realize he still doesn't get it, that I don't give a shit about him or his kids and hope nothing but more misery for his type as I go about my own life quite happily, despite the mess conservatives have made of this country. See, I don't have kids and I don't care if the earth burns up and blows away in 20 years.

I have conservative family members who sound just like him, who are increasingly frustrated but continue to blame the wrong people. So I can't offer my sympathy but rather my contempt at their ignorance and my indifference to their pain.

As long as people are going to resist being human, I don't care how bad things get for them. And as long as they continue to support conservatives, things will NEVER get better.

PS. We're glad, oh so glad you brainstems HATE the West Coast. We don't want you here. Stay in the land of your boring strip malls, chain restaurants and morbid obesity. Obama was right when he pointed out what ignorant crackers you people were.

The few conservatives we do have here should leave. Immediately. We hate them and would like to see them GONE. They'd be much happier in some shithole of the south or midwest. After all, if it's so horrible on the west coast, why not leave San Diego, you useless, cowardly, brainstem?

Las Vegas might as well be in Cali. Full of Mexicans and ex-Californians. Used to me a nice town before the invasion started 15 years ago.

Okay, so you vote out the incumbents. I totally agree.

Problem is: who do you vote in?

Whoever you vote in is also bought and paid for by monied special interests like the REIC.

This is the consequence of your 2-party system and the lack of restrictions on the activities and contributions of lobbyists.

They've got us right where they want us. Nothing will change until we wise up to this fact.

I will vote against every incumbent, including the judges, on my ballot. If I were in Texas, I would not vote against Ron Paul unless he encouraged, which he could, voting against everyone currently in office. I believe he would sacrifice his own office to see this succeed.

Want term limits? Vote against all incumbents.

Wnat change? Vote against all incumbents?

Want to get rid of the revolving door between Wall Street Investment banks and the Treasury Department? Vote against all incumbents (and tell the new folks why).

Why do you think they keep passing FISA type laws? Each time it gets more intrustive. What Constitution? They know what's around the corner. They've designed and prepared the demise.

An excerpt from Wikipedia re: the book, "The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" by Edward Gibbon:

According to Gibbon, the Roman Empire succumbed to barbarian invasions because of a loss of civic virtue among its citizens.

They had become weak, outsourcing their duties to defend their Empire to barbarian mercenaries, who then became so numerous and ingrained that they were able to take over the Empire. Romans, he believed, had become effeminate, unwilling to live a tougher, "manly" military lifestyle.

In addition, Gibbon argued that Christianity created a belief that a better life existed after death, which fostered an indifference to the present among Roman citizens, thus sapping their desire to sacrifice for the Empire.

He also believed its comparative pacifism tended to hamper the traditional Roman martial spirit.

Lastly, like other Enlightenment thinkers, Gibbon held in contempt the Middle Ages as a priest-ridden, superstitious, dark age. It was not until his own age of reason and rational thought, it was believed, that human history could resume its progress.

BitterRenter,
That was an awesome post! Said it better than anyone I have heard in a long while! Beautiful, really!
And so far as those who want to see obama/mccain, or even ron paul, 'save' the country, I think they shouldn't! Thats the problem, we put these pols up on pedestals! First it was 'Oh, Reagan will turn things around!'. Then it was 'Clinton is the guy to pull us through!'. Then came GWB and we know how that disaster went down. WTF is up with all this hero worship? We are supposed to have a system! Even with only two parties, if Americans were more involved with their party we could only then see real change, change you would deserve! Believe in that! But no, people have been sitting on their fat asses watching idol and ordering dominoes, interested in only themselves, so naturally the political parties had gone to the corporations with their hands out! How much money did the average dem/rep send to their party? How much time did they spend on the streets getting in peoples faces? How many letters have they written? NONE! And so now, every four years people perk up their attention and say 'oh this is bad. Who will save us?'. Well, their is no savior now. Just like mccains economic advisor has told us, 'deal with it!' Too bad for us! We have a great country and we just sit there while it slips away, too busy watching tv to do anything about it...
