None of the above.

I trust my own mental faculties and my own observations.

Conspiracy of Silence, a documentary listed for viewing in TV Guide Magazine was to be aired on the Discovery Channel, on May 3, 1994. This documentary exposed a network of religious leaders and Washington politicians who flew children to Washington D.C. for sex orgies.

Many children suffered the indignity of wearing nothing but their underwear and a number displayed on a piece of cardboard hanging from their necks when being auctioned off to foreigners in Las Vegas, Nevada and Toronto, Canada.

Conspiracy of Silence

At the last minute before airing, unknown congressmen threatened the TV Cable industry with restrictive legislation if this documentary was aired. Almost immediately, the rights to the documentary were purchased by unknown persons who had ordered all copies destroyed.

A copy of this videotape was furnished anonymously to former Nebraska state senator and attorney John De Camp who made it available to retired FBI Agent Ted L. Gunderson. While the video quality is not top grade, this tape is a blockbuster in what is revealed by the participants involved.

Well, definitely not Obama now that he has lied in quick succession on :

1. only accepting public campaign money on which he took a pledge. Oops, he didn't mean it.

2. the Repubs are making him do it due to their use of big money in 527s. As it turns out, almost the only big money being spent by 527s are for Obama/against McCain.

What a typical, lying pol.

Had to come back again, Keith, and see if THIS outrage will convince you to dump the lying liar of lies...

If not, I guess you have drunk the Koolaid far too deeply for the facts to matter.

I trust all of the above.

UNFORTUNATELY, it is to do the wrong thing.

At least that's something to count on nowadays.

Trust can mean two things that are not clearly separated - (1)expecting to hear the truth from and (2) relying on their help in bad situation. I trust quite a number of players on your list for (1), like the church, the serious media, the actual government numbers (not their predictions). I trust mostly my family for (2).

on the conspiracy of silence video, it is a story of how certain priviledged people used to go to boy's town in nebraska and pick out boys to go have fun with, if you know what i mean. also they used street children, or CIA was used to find a certain boy that fit the bill , for someone who was looking for a boy like that, to do what he wanted and to fasciliate his fantasy, etc. this is all true. it happened then and in the past. it still happens today. the bush family was in on this. so was ronald reagan. so was, oh my, that really nice man who runs Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett has been said to had been involved in the past in this sort of activity. now you look at him now and you think. what a nice old man. but he was not always old. at one time he was a lot younger. then we look at the problem we have in this country of 100,000 children disappearing each year and then you think. is there a corelation? perhaps. then you look at the core beliefs of practicing satanist, which also participate in things like this and then perhaps we can surmise that at least some of the missing children are appropriated for certain purposes, never to be heard from again. also many of these children are shipped to israel, where child prosititution is legal, according to talmudic law.

Here is a novel thought --- since we know the government and courts are taking bribes maybe we as a society should just pony up the cash and pay them off first "with the standard campaign contribution" to do the right thing for our nation rather than their standard traitorous actions.
Our "lobby money" agenda would be to close the border, throw lobbiest out of washington, prosecute wall street fraud and realtors.

Ron Paul. Political platforms aside, at least I know he's honest. But I also happen to trust his policy recommendations.

I trust the honesty of Robert Shiller and Mark Zandi even though they advocate lower interest rates and have never questioned the federal reserve.

I trust Stephen Roach.

I trust the honesty of Mish Shedlock even if the inflation/deflation debate is still mixed in my mind.

I trust Greg Swan to never ever admit that he has been very publicly very foolish.

I have a high degree of trust in the collective wisdom of HP. We've been pretty right lately.

Yeah, I guess I have no trust, no faith in any of the official apparati of the state (govt, fed, media, regulatory bodies, courts, etc).

I don't see how you can trust anything after watching this:

The Power Hour: 9/11 In Plane Site

This is one of the best, no nonsense, in depth looks at the glaring evidence that we have not been told the whole truth on 9/11.

Watch the whole thing. I DARE YOU TO. And then I dare you to come back and tell me that 9/11 was done by some third world Arabs.

Go ahead. Prove me wrong, genius. That includes you Keefer.

Trust. What a rare thing to come upon nowadays. I honestly think that this will probably be the undoing of the last superpower on earth. It seems like the last ten years have been nothing but fraud. Just plain fraud, and it's not just the government; the majority of people in general seem to be a bunch of frauds. No wonder the housing bubble took off; it was all bogus to begin with. All of this fraud, this cronyism, this willingness to cheat with every breath I fear will come back to haunt quite a few people...very soon. When that happens, duck since I don't think any of the problems we are facing today will ever be fixed when that happens.

THERE IS NO HONOR AMONG THIEVES

Ron Paul, Howard Dean and Pizza Hut.

I knew Bush would destroy America however. I trust Bush will continue his cluster-fvck leadership skills because that's the only thing he (and his gang of criminals)are good at.

(PS: almost saw a riot break out at a local Michigan gas station yesterday because they lowered their price to $3.89 gal from $4.15 for just a few hours - as a special. People were yelling at each other to move their SUV's out of the fvcking way!! A cop showed up, traffic jam, cars honking, etc. Unreal!)

I mistrust Christians, especially Catholics and fundamentalists, more than I mistrust atheists. At least atheists are more honest and do not pretend to do things because their religion tells them so.

In God I trust to give Catholics children to fondle!

I lost faith in Government the day Robert F. Kennedy was shot down. I realized then, in 1968 that sinister forces were at work to prevent hope from ever being restored and any pride in American values ever again.
I lost faith in the Protestant religion as I watched preacher after preacher embrace or advocate a sort of physical prosperity Gospel, very anti=poor in nature, to the point that poverty was equated with sin in your life and a curse put upon you by God (Reverend Parsley claimed "Poverty is a CURSE".
I stopped believing anything written in the media as entertainment corporations began buying them up. Suddenly news concerned what was going to be on TV that evening or what Madonna was wearing that day. I no longer read any newspapers, they are nothing but propaganda sheets for their advertisers and how many times have one of their "economic" writers called "bottom" on housing?
I don't trust realtors at all. They always try to steer people out of areas they feel don't warrant your race or occupation. They are like the typical American concern today, who ask only two questions. What is your Occupation? Where do you live? They are worthless.
The Church, I deem to be the original one, the Catholic Church. I stopped going in the 1960s because I noticed that Sundays were becoming a show and people were only going because they were afraid of what their grandparents might say. Plus for 40 years now I have never heard a Priest take a stand on an issue. Never get mad at sin or tell people that they might be in danger of eternal damnation for a sinful life. I have heard nothing but "Love one another" from their lips, while I am being destroyed financially, by forces beyond my control.
I returned to the Catholic Church recently, despite all the scandals that we are familiar with. They are all in desperate shape now. I see only people over 50 in these events. No young people, or very little, most don't have any faith and many believe it all a fairy tale. As to the vocation itself, There are very few who volunteer a life of celibacy to conduct mass, or a woman who would give up their lives to serve in silence. This is because of the rampant materialism of our age, the empty promise of a "career" for women (they will be betrayed in the next great depression) and the outright liberal attitudes of local Bishops who feel that they know everything and want to make changes.
Foolish thoughts, 20th century attitudes on a Church that has existed for thousands of years in high and low.
Trust? These days, I am waiting on God. I know he exists and I know our end is very near. Civilization is getting ready to collapse into a period of violence, murder and death. It may start this year or next. But it WILL be here. I only hope that I escape and not have to bear witness to it in my old age. Thanks for posting this subject Keith.

I trust the NAR. No, really, they're pretty good.

After all, they ran an ad (in 2/08) telling the public that buying a house was a "good move towards building long-term wealth". Sounds like a promise, a performance guarantee, to me.

Here's the ad:

Oh, yeah, I also trust psychic Sylvia Brown.

On Montel Williams "Predictions for 2008" show, Sylvia Browne said the housing market will get stronger in 2008 (in her exact words, "yeah, it a wig, it a will, it certainly will"):

She also recommended medical stocks, and completely missed the whole commodities boom of 2008....

But what the hey, I still trust her.
