Gonna be traveling again...

Catching the boat to England today, and yes, HP will be based there again, reporting from the new epicenter of the global housing crash. Might be a bit spotty on posts and comments for a bit until I get settled in, so be patient.

Do me a favor and post interesting stuff here and in BubbleTalk for the next few days. There's been a few things in the news lately deserving of their own posts but are being covered nicely in the comments, like
Ed McMahon owing Countrywide Toxic Mortgage over $500,000 and losing his home (how the hell does Ed McMahon go Casey Serin on us?). And the NAR losing their monopoly on the MLS. Nice to see the HP community picking up the slack...

Your first line makes me think of the 60's folksinger Jackson C. Frank's song "Blues Run the Game".
"Catch a boat to England baby, maybe to Spain, wherever I have gone, wherever I've been and gone, Blues, run the game..."

" The McMahons 'understand that they are in the same situation as hundreds of thousands of other hard-working Americans, and their hearts go out to them,' Bragman said.

The McMahons purchased their secluded Beverly Hills home in 1990. The mansion is huge with six bedrooms and five bathrooms."

No, the McMahons are NOT in the "same situation" as the rest of us. He, too, could have *lived beneath his means* and had a gorgeous house paid off. Those loans in 2005 - let me guess: HELOC? The banker must have told him to "come on down".

One day you're going to have to proof to us that you have so much money. I don't believe it. Something isn't right here. What, a millionaire who wastes his time to bicker daily with a bunch of loonies? Yeah, right.
