A time capsule of the greatest financial mania in the history of mankind, told in real-time by regular folks and patriots. May future generations better understand the madness of crowds, and how power and money corrupt.

was that mozillo on dodd's backing causing him to piss all over himself?
Stop insulting those simians. They have much more integrity and intelligence than our politicians
The BofA Bailout Bill, if it survives with or without a veto, will be too little too late. . .the mess is now WAY beyond housing, now credit cards are melting down, auto loans are going bad, commercial loans are in trouble, and GM is one step ahead of Chapter 11 (thier bonds are now junk). . .so, the Senate will just go from problem to problem, and there will not be enough money to bailout everyone. . .we are at the same point the Soviet Union was in about 1987. . .broke and imploding.
Assholes on legs!
I had a hard time picking out Dodd, but Hillary was front and center at one point.
If it passes, I am quitting and going off the radar.
Liberty? Land of the Free? My ass.
Very funny! I was wondering how that debate was going! Looks like business as usual!
Boy, Barney Frank was really let them have it for awhile there, wasn't he? What a temper on that guy! You don't want to get on his bad side, know what I'm saying? Wow!
One thing I don't understand though: what were Mike Norman and Tom Adkins doing there? Seems like a breach of legislative procedure or something.
Greg Swann as usual had it coming out his ass
Mark, GM's bonds have been junk since 2005. Where have you been?
I noticed that the “piggy back” loan was very popular.
I fear you are correct Mark. At least you can jet off to Zurich. This country melting down would be one ugly scene. Yugoslavia would have nothing on the nastiness we might see here.
I almost peed myself on that one, it was so funny. Nice work!
Is that Newark?
Calling an ape a monkey is the biological equivalent of calling a lion a dog.
Ape = no tail
Monkey = tail.
Get it right monkies :)
Anyone think BofA will delay their close on Countrywide (originally planned for July 1) until they know for sure the lender bailout is going to get signed?
I still don't get it though. Even if the bailout goes through, and Countrywide dumps its cancer on the taxpayer, BofA still gets the lawsuits
Unless Congress passes some sort of lender immunity bill.
It is staggering just how openly corrupt DC is right now.
Wow. A family of stupid primates taping a slightly smarter family of primates.
Hey look, Congress just came out of session.
