Uhh, midget porn?

Is that what the picture is about?

Sunny days and nature makes me happy. Oh and being debt free.

You make me happy Keith. It's those funny pictures, and your moral outrage. I look forward to reading your blog each day.

What makes me happy?

Being wrong.

Seeing the guilty punished.

Seeing a fully-loaded US Air Force One smash into a hillside with no survivors aboard...

This blog makes me happy.

When you are criticizing China, kindly be sure to point out how many people they have in their Gulags and use as slave labor.

They are the antichrist.

Thanks Keith.

Oh, and little people.

Sleep. Fresh Air. Sex...lots of sex, the more fringe the better.

Alas excessive school combined with work leave me for little of the first 2 lately - so I'm focusing mostly on the 3rd to stay sane until August when I finish the first grad degree. :)

Oh - yardwork/landscaping tend to relax me...no idea why. :D

What makes me happy?

I paid off my mortgage by flipping houses in Phoenix, what a feeling. The cars are paid off, I have no outstanding loans, I don't owe anyone anything. I have a great job.

I over consume Woo Hoo.

I got money in the bank, lots of it.

I eat what tastes good and I have never been overweight. I work out 3 times a week. That really helps the mental outlook.

I'm getting a nice bonus check for the first quarter of record sales. My salary has increased each year for the last 12 years.

I got laser surgery on my eyes and I threw away my glasses.

I don't qualify for the 600 dollar government give away, because I make too much money. You can have mine.

I'm out of the market and in cash positions. I sold off all my rental houses before 2006, except one.

My carbon footprint is 562 which is high, but I'm working on it.

The state of the economy is of little concern to me because I'm well positioned and prepared for catastrophe.

I'm very happy, I am well and I like who I am. I don't have to work, but I like what I do, so I work anyway.

What could be better?

There's a Spanish toast that goes something like "Salud, Amor, Dinero y tiempo para desfrutarlos" -- which translates to "Health, Love, Money and the Time to Enjoy it All".

That about sums it up for me -- I might substitute "friendship" for "money". The older I get, the less money is important, and the more I yearn for time to do the things I enjoy and see the people that I care about.

Knowing that my retirement is secure with a 401k plan.

The stock market can't survive without 401k investments. Who profits from these investments?? The government (taxes), Wall Street (fees and their take), and the Chinese (through SWF's).

Ever wondered why the stock market climbed so fast in the last 15 years? Why it was the BIG push to get everyone to start a 401k. Now, your money is "their" money, and when the game is over, the BIG boys are the ones who profited... not us.

Think about it. The game isn't to "our" advantage. It's so they can keep the game going. Without the 401k investments, this game would have ended back in 2001.

"Better maximize those 401k's, so you'll have a better future!!!"

Yeah right. It's so they will have a better future.

BTW, I'm sick of the word "portfolio." A portfolio is nothing more than a 10 cent paper notebook from the school store filled with uncompleted homework and failed tests.

Seeing my daughters grow, and that they're turning out OK, and knowing they are a reflection of me and how I have raised them.

The gradual easing of tension, and a growing familiarity, with each passing year of marriage.

Seeing my investments grow over the last 20 years into something substantial, despite all the external pressure to spend spend spend.

A good night's sleep; a good tasting meal.

Being at my recreational property and knowing that feet have walked over many if not all parts of it before, but the trails, clearings, and shacks that are currently there are all from my hard work and mostly work done with my bare hands.

This story

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/07/report-mccains-profane-ti_n_95429.html

John McCain's temper is well documented. He's called opponents and colleagues "shitheads," "assholes" and in at least one case "a fucking jerk."...

Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain's intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt." McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.

happiness - i am single, no wife, no kids to nag me about making more money. having bought a one bedroom, one bathroom condo in november 1996 at the bottom of the last real estate recession for $38,900, with $2000 down in downtown long beach ca. having paid off the mortgage, my only debt is $26,000 on a heloc because of a car loan and paying off the mortgage. watching the condo go up to $300,000, dropping to the current $240,000 and still dropping and not caring because i am never selling, my property taxes are currently less than $600 a year. easy job with the state, union with state pension making $36,000 a year, free time to do what i want instead of what a dependent would want me to do. eating well, plenty of sleep, no credit card debt, $20,000 in roth ira, $20,000 in stocks, spending money on my baby sister, giving an allowance to my mom, inheritance coming to me, my brother, and my sister in the form of a commercial business property all paid for free and clear. bottom line- no worries, retirement is taken care of. i do have a guilty pleasure in reading sad stories about other less fortunate people, what's the german word again? oh i am 41 years old.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens;
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens;
Brown paper packages tied up with strings;
These are a few of my favorite things.

Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels;
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles;
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings;
These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes;
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes;
Silver-white winters that melt into springs;
These are a few of my favorite things.

Schadenfreude...I got it reading your post. 41 and you've got 40 grand for retirement? Good luck if your inheritance is left to charity instead. You don't even have a grand for every year you've been alive. Pathetic. I on the other hand have 4K put away for every year you've been alive, and I'm 10 years younger than you. Loser.
