I think I met the world's only smart realtor yesterday at an open house.

He told me not to buy now. He says the winning strategy is to make insulting lowball offers today, and that the desperate homedebtors will come crawling back to me in 6-12 months to take the offer when it's foreclosure time.

I finally met a realtor I like! Too bad I'll buy direct from the desperate owners and he won't get my 6%.

Ladies & Gentlemen, we have reached a new low. And we thought it was impossible.

Nice sign and presentation skills. It's evident that attention to detail is his forte.

More of the same to come in the months ahead.

Many realtors helped destroy the housing market for the greater population, and now are finding that they've made themselves obsolte through their own greed.

Holy crap!

When you finish your plate, you may have your just desserts.

It looks like to me this real-estate agent has gone back to his old way of life - Standing on street corners hustling for a dime.

I would've got him to look the other way, stole his sign and run over his feet, as I was spinning my tires to depart.

How low will they go? next thing they will be running around in thongs toteing no money down.

Pretty soon we'll be seeing pictures of realtors on milk cartons and Ramen packages. Problem is what would the caption say?

I could not stop laughing. It is such a great market I am standing on the corner with a sign made from the same cardboard I conned the bum around the corner out of.

Those stevedore jobs down at the docks pay soooo well there is sure to be a crunch for $750,000 and up houses - buy now before Jacksonville is all full up!

The sad thing is that I can't tell whether that is a joke or real.

'I wouldn't buy in Chicago or NYC.' Umm, both cities which have done ok, relatively.

"I" would definitely NOT buy in Florida. A port? Drugs, strong unions, and warehouses...the rock-bed of a strong economy.

Now that is what I call a well-done roasted Americano realtor...

Ooooo Weeeee...

Hurt, ain't it ? Uneducated, trash of the human race...

+++++

This nation and most of its citizens, residents, dwellers, occupants have no ethic, no moral, no responsibility, no duty, no honor, and last but not least, no brain. What it has in plenty is greed, self-centerness, self-righteousness, ignorance, pompousness, lust, materialistic craze. An Easter-Island society comprising of no family value, no respect or caring for the world and the land they live in, the surrounding environment, no caring, husbandry for the long term future

The housing bubble is a shiny mirror in which the Americano can look at itself and ponder upon what may the future brings upon this land of the Snapper Turtle AKA the land of the Skunk.

A nation that mostly comprises of wallowing, scaby pigs feeding, tearing, roosting, chomping at the trough.
A nation with most of its dwellers obese, fat, diabetic, and plain ugly like a chimpanzee.
A nation where a Walmart cashier can buy a house for $500K.
A nation in which its citizen's brain IQ is lower than a snapper turtle.
A nation which rules by turkeys, skunks, and rats.

The Americano nation is as toasted as a roasted armadillo skewered from mouth to ass sizzling, fat popping, juices oozing with melted golden fat over a bed of white hot charcoal.

::: Yummy grilled Snapper Turtle :::
::: Yummy roasted the Americano nation and the Housing Bubble :::

I'll tell you what. I live in Jacksonville. It's a decent place to live. It's not like South Florida. We have seasons (but no snow). The cost of living isn't bad.

It used to be better. It wasn't that big when I moved here. It now looks like every other suburb in America. Strip malls and traffic.

We had a bubble run up here too. I bought my house long before the bubble started. The house price barely budged for years. Which made sense. There are a few large employers and not a lot else. Bunch of small places. But the job market isn't that big.

Then the bubble came. House prices got stupid. There are four houses for sale on my street right now. One of them has been for sale for at least a year. Nothing is moving at all.

I'm glad I didn't do any of that cash out refi-crap. I actually looked at my house as a long term place to live. Ten more years and I'll own it instead of the bank. When I bought it it was cheaper to own it than to rent.

House prices here have a long way to go (down) to get back to that point.

There's a new subdivision across the street from mine. There are spec houses from 2 years ago that are still vacant and half the lots are empty.

If it's such a great time to buy how come nothing is selling?

Never trust a Realtor, they are idiots.

This is REALLY SICK! A young Estonian man allows a tattoo with a logo of real estate development (not built yet as you can see on the video) as an advertisement on his forehead and gets 10%-30% off. (This info is "confidential")

I hear this same story everywhere I go. I think that's the moral of the story here. Everywhere you go, there is something special about this town.

Dny

So many bitter people here. Don't blame the stupid realtor - blame the idiots making $30K per year who made the decision to buy a $400K house!! Blame the idiots for letting people tell them what they wanted to hear in the first place!! "You can do it!! Your 400K house will be worth 600K in a year!" Where do the idiots come from???? They come out of a US education system where they're never taught how to even balance a checkbook or do a budget.
The idea of Colleges giving bachelor degrees and Masters degrees to people who can barely read, do simple math, or think critically is the formula for a doomed society.
Blame the realtor????? How utterly ridiculous. They're at least as stupid as the the buyers - perfect together.
And, 99% of mortgaged homeowners DO make their payments like clockwork every month. And, 25% of all american homeowners own their homes free & clear.

frank, the fact that you stalk Realtors is creepy. It's sick, dude.

Get a life.

Going to work today I saw a license plate that initially I thought was obscene: (Heart symbol)2succd. As I was traveling behind it, I noticed the plate frame: Successful Realtor. It was only then that I realized the driver/owner loves to succeed, and not the other thing that I thought she maybe loved to do. Wonder how much she's succeeding now?

BS I wish I met the guy. I live in the Orlando area. I would have used the "have a ramen" routine.

I found a way to handle the panhandlers that infiltrate the area in the winter. Never know whether to give a guy or gal money when their hand is stretched out at an intersection. Do like I do and keep a couple of bricks of ramen under your front seat. Drop your window and say hope it helps. You'll get two reactions. They will thank you (honestly they were in the dumps and you will feel better that you did the right thing) or they'll get PO'd ( and you feel good that you F#$%^^ em). And if they really get mad and throw the package at your car, no worries - it won't dent. don't try this with cans of soup or chili.

In the case of the bozo on the street corner, maybe it would humiliate him a bit. That too would make me feel better..

So you see it's all win win for you. Have a nice day.
