Pick the poodle

Those of you who watched the pathetic Mozilo and Friends hearing yesterday know what I'm talking about...

"It is always easy to blame people with a lot of money," Issa said in a statement.

Issa is the reason we got Arnold as governor. Now that we have another $15 billion finacial crisis, where is he with his recall bankroll?

The only difference this time, is that Bush's buddies haven't stolen $18 billion of taxpayer money outright.

Yeah just how much money did Countryslide contribute to Issa's campaign?

His headquarters is right off the 78 freeway in SD county. One of the small pleasures in life is flipping his staff the bird as I pass on by. Makes me smile.

This Issa guy is the most overt sub lackey to the rich and powerful, I have ever seen. His goal at the session was to negate any and all negatives thrown against the three stooges. He must have been paid an enormous sum to show such disdane on a nationally televised forum. He risked public censure to look like a puppet of the REIC. I shudder to think that he gets reelected and even more so, he is young enough to cause major damage to this Country.

I felt like that Congressman should of declared that he was Mozilo's lawyer . What a Joke .
Why did the CEO'S go into a big ordeal about how great they were .
Martha Steward could of gone into a big ordeal about how great she was to ,but it's not relevant to the damage they caused to millions .
Maybe a question should of been ."Do you believe that in light of the billions of dollars you cost borrowers and investors alike ,do you deserve your pay ."
What a way for Mozilo to go out ,destroying the Company he started ,along with tons of peoples lives .Mozilo gets his pension ,but what about all the people that lose their pension because of his acts?
He made a big deal about working for the Company for 40 years . I'm sure a lot of people that had anything to do with Countrywide are going to lose their life savings and maybe their pensions .

Mozilo is evil .

But I thought this was free-market capitalism (with no regulation) that every fiscal conservative is such a fan of? Did this not work so well for you? The last eight years all I heard is stop regulating and give the free markets a chance to correct itself. I'm still not impressed. After so many years of this hogwash, isn't it time to say that we need a free market but with oversight and regulation because the wealthy will succumb to greed and they will tilt the balance in their favor every time. Does anyone deny that has not been the case in this whole debacle.

I read in the paper today that California is not 15 billion in the hole it's 18 billion. So far it's gone from 10 to 12 to 14 then 16 and now 18 billion, do I hear 20 or 22 ?
