Before he was taken out by a government wiretap, Eliot Spitzer had a few things to say about the REIC and the Bush Administration

I've gotta believe there were some in the government who knew of Spitzer's hooker problem for quite some time. And they leaked it right when they needed to - when he decided to go after the mortgage industrial complex and Bush.

Well, at least it was just a public shaming and loss of his job, and not a bullet.

i don't buy into the conspiracy theory but i do believe that bush officials were jumping for joy when they discovered that they had reason (they suspicious money transfers) to investigate spitzer and even more elated when they figured out what was going on.

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it for a second. Spitzer was whacked for spilling the beans on Bushco's collusion with the banks to allow the easy credit orgy that created the biggest housing bubble in history.

What were the aims of Bushco in doing this? Is it just to make a quick buck or are they deliberately destroying the middle class to ease the transition to the North American Union?

Of course they knew about it.

Yes but how often do you get the chance to bang an FBI undercover agent?

The aim of Bushco was to keep the idiots high on home ATM cashouts to 1) distract from Bushco's looting of the treasury and 2) hold power.

Living in Southern California during the 2004 election, nearly all homeowners I spoke with were convinced that Bush was instrumental in juicing home prices, and they voted accordingly. I suspect it wasn't any different in other bubble locales.

So all the homeowners in LA, San Fran, Boston, NYC and Chicago, Maryland voted for Bush? LOL You are a mental midget indeed.

Spitzer made alot of enemies and should have known better. I believe he also busted many escort serves while AG.

You better be squeaky clean if you're going after the big boys.

This is serious business with world economies at stake, big reputations and big lawsuits waiting in the wings.

It is up to the American people to speak with their pocket books. Stay out of debt and stop the excess spending.

Spitzer was a bully who strong-armed many people unfairly. He was just another Mike Nifong.

Someone else can out the crooks as easily as he can.

Spitzer got what was coming to him.

That vid is great reminder of just how incredibly evil and corrupt washington is.

I had no idea about the male prostitute visiting the white house. WTF??? What is his purpose at the white house? Is that really him with bush in that photo? Truly bizarre.

They wanted Spitzer out for a reason. Keith brought it up on a previous post.

Let's not forget that Barney Frank ran an under age male prostitution ring out of his house. Everybody knows about it and he's still working. Everybody has dirt on everbody else in washington, they just use it when it's convenient.

I was thinking Massad, but they're both under the same authority anyway...

Hope Spitzer's got more whores lined up 'cause he isn't getting any from the wife.

Spitzer was whacked because he was a democrat Super Delegate who openly admitted to supporting Hillary Clinton.

Obama's camp took the luv gov. down.

Rahm Emmanuel is keeping quiet on who he is supporting as a super delegate. I wonder what skeletons he's trying to keep in his closet.

Now you know what the Patriot Act is really for. Building a China Wall on the borders should be a priority and not eavesdropping on American citizens, if you're really concerned about internal security. Anyone can cross the border of Mexico for a fee, and avoid phones for a long time. Not hard at all, illegals immigrants do it all the time. But since I don't expect Americano to know how to apply common sense and logic, let's call it a coincidence that Spitzer was caught with his pants down (pun intended). What's on Idol or Faux News?

C'mon, this is really tinfoil hat type stuff.

Spitzer has long been an enemy of the Bush administration and of Wall street. To think that they were sitting on this information and only when Spitzer wrote an article that nobody ready, this is when they decided to call him out? Serious?

And then to get even crazier they accuse Bush of banging a male prostitute over 200 times - this is highly ridiculous.

I sometimes send friends to this blog and it's postings like this that hurt my own credibility for recommending HP.

This one's just a little too far out there.

Oh, I see, it's all Bush's fault... he really forced poor Spitz to violate the Law.

"Let's not forget that Barney Frank ran an under age male prostitution ring out of his house."

It was Frank's 19yr old (young, but of adult age) boyfriend. And once he'd admitted to the world that he was gay, the press ran away. They only go for heterosexuals in this country, not out in the open homosexuals.

Now here's a question, if Spitzer that chartered a flight to Amsterdam and had all his fun there, (with it actually being cheaper and of higher quality) where it was 100% legal and above board, would this have been another Paparazzi story ("Gov goes wild in Europe") rather than the one it is?

What does your gut-level feeling tell you?

By destroying the middle-class, Bushco (and future Bushco's, Democratic or Republican) will have free reign to do as they please - just like they already do
in 3rd-world countries.

OMG Forget impeachment, (because all of our elected officials have turned their heads anyway)

Bush and Cheney should just resign (and all the rest of them involved in their chilling secret cults).

For cris sakes, just admit to your tragic 8-years of clusterfvck management skills and pack up your shit go home.

Interesting stuff, but the narrator lets home buyers off a little too easy. If many buyers were "victims", it's only because they were willing victims-many saw their values rising and NOBODY who was making a profit wanted to rock the boat. Now everyone who is having a hard time has a sob story. Fair enough, I wouldn't want to admit that I was trying to make a bundle o' cash and got caught without a chair when the music stopped, but we still have to recognize the difference between the greedy and the truly disadvantaged.
