Remember that scene in Dr. Zhivago when he returns from serving in that estate hospital in WW 1 only to find that the communists have seized most of his property?
I always saw Hillary as that housing comrade who stares at Dr. Zhivago with murder in her eyes. "We had room for 15 families in this one house".
To which Zhivago answers: "Yes, comrade, this is a better arrangement, more just".
"When you start work you will get a ration book". The other says.
"I've always worked" Zhivago replies.
The stare that the woman gives him as he goes up the steps is enough to freeze your blood! You know the poor Doctor doesn't stand much of a chance.
Neither does the health care industry or the Doctors who will serve under it.

I am pulling for her. Never in a million years did I think I would want a Clinton to win. But the thought of Obama in the WH is scary. I think she is a vile, nasty woman, but still better than the alternative.

And yes it is because he's black, yeah that's it. Has nothing to do with the fact he was voted the most liberal senator for 2007. Has nothing to do with the fact he stands for nothing except bumper sticker slogans like hope and chance. Has nothing to do with the fact he has no experience. Has nothing to do with the fact he said he would attack Pakistan and yet gladly meet with Iranians. Has nothing to do with the fact he will raise my taxes by 50%.

Nope none of that matters. I must be a grand wizard of the KKK since I don't get down on my hands and knees and kiss the ground Obama walks on.

Seen in the comments section of another blog talking about the $600 rebate checks:
-------------------------------
I have been a practicing attorney of 25 years. My practice has focused on representing individuals who have been involved in accidents. One thing I have learned over these 25 years is that people tend to remember and have the most positive feeling towards the person who physically hands them a check at the end of a case. That is why , even if I refer a case to another attorney, I always make the final distribution of the settlement to the client. Tus the client will remember me and not the attorney who handled the case because I was the one who gave him the check.

The same principle is at work with these tax rebates. Yes it would easier and cheaper to simply reduce the witholding amount for a short period of time. This would get the money into people's hands faster and it would more likely be spent because it would be a smaller amount. However the main thing wron with this approach is that the people who are getting the extra money wouldn't associate the increase with the federal government. They would think of the money as theirs because it is in their paycheck.(Silly people). However if people get a check from the federal government they will have better feelings and associations with it even if they grumble about the amount and whether it is the right thing to do. Also the politicians will keep repeating the mantra over and over during the next few weeks : "we gave you a check" - as if everyone should be grateful that they got some of their own money back even if it cost millions to do so.

Therefore I conclude that the architect of ths plan must have been one of my sneaky brother lawyers somewhere in the anti-lawyer Bush administration. Although I like the fact that people get some money back, I am opposed to the way this is being done and I can see right through it.

If the democrats choose Obama then they'll end up with Michael Bloomberg. The financiers have a scandal brewing for Mr. Obama. They will take him down at just the right moment. But first they want to use him as a stalking horse to destroy Hillary Clinton's chances.

The overall plan is to install Bloomberg as a fascist dictator like Mussolini.

Bush drove me out of Republican party. Last 3 times I voted Straight Democratic.

Now if Obama Rama Lama:Tuttie Fruttie (Little Richard song comes to mind) is the candidtae, I am voting straight Republican. This guy's been Senator only two years, all he did was-

1. One of the worst absenteeism in Senate. Never come up with any major legislation.
2. Sold Books.
3. Promoted his candidacy for President.
4. He talks for hours saying absolutely nothing. Utter windbag like Jesse Jackson.
5. Republicnas pumped up this guy, so that they can keep the whitehouse. And Democrats fell for it.

I am going to predict he's going to loose to McCain in general election. Hillary, as much as people hate would have beat McCain.

Stop frigging demonizing this woman.

If you aren't doing badly now, just wait until this whole industrial complex is on it's knees, no one is going to be exempt.

We need someone as smart as her. She's got a mind that sucks up information like a sponge and correlates it all.

Got nothing against Obama. Just think he's a bit young, and untested under stress, and we are going to have stress like you wouldn't believe.

Attitude, spin, good looks, pr, excitement, pushing our greed buttons (people still shilling for re and stocks on tv, not the candidates)--none of the things this last generation was raised on are going to be worth a damn..It's going to be stark reality, more reality, lots of reality and it's going to need skill, brains, and more hard work than you can imagine to survive...not flourish, just survive...we need competence and more competence, never mind your piddling likes or dislikes. What works is what's going to work..

You don't sound like the kind of person who will believe it can all fall apart, but (by coincidence I watched Dr Zhivago last night), but if you think about it, it had all fallen apart in the movie. There is nothing about Hillary that suggests what you are implying; only that she doesn't want to see anyone suffer.

Did it ever occur to anyone out there that the reason Europe tends to be more socialistic is that they lived through major famines, plagues and wars and saw all the suffering they ever cared to...

In fact (Read Times of Feast, Times of Famine if you can find it), Europe started to do better when they began to make plans to prepare for the next famine and had means of transferring food to areas with food shortages. If your family is from Europe you are a survivor of a survivor...my mother's family was from Finland, which lost 1/3 of it's population in about 1690, and they knew the value of cooperation and sharing...same for my sis-in-law....humanity survives by cooperation far more than by division...

Hillary over Obama anytime!
Besides the empty suit character/politics of Obama and his naive part-time Democrat supporters:
Imagine the official office and residence of the President of the United States occupied by the following:
An empty suit mulatto,(mixed race), male of Muslim pedigree with a background of "neighborhood" organizer, (hustler), from inner-city, (ghetto) Chicago politics (corrupt).
A spouse who looks and acts like a cross between Aunt Jemima and Buckwheat. (First Lady of the USA!..haha!)
Two mixed race children of confusing identity.

You can't make this stuff up!
If this is the best the New America of the 21st century can come up with, this country is FOOKED!

Thank God my grandparents' European
country of ancestry allowed me and my children to qualify and obtain dual citizenship.Nice to have options, just in case.

Go see the movie "Definitely, Maybe" it's a pretty good flick and will remind you why we don't need those damn Clinton's back in the whitehouse. Even the most ardent Clinton supporters will be backing away from this Clinton scum.

When Abraham Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth on April 14, 1865, questions were raised as to who was really responsible for his assassination. In other words was Booth simply a tool in a much larger conspiracy?

Why was Abraham Lincoln assassinated?

There have been many theories. British bankers were against his protectionist policies. Some people in Britain believed that British Free Trade, Industrial Monopoly and human slavery travelled together. Lincoln's policies after the Civil War would have destroyed Jewish commodity speculations.

After the war Lincoln planned a mild reconstruction policy which would enable a resumption of agricultural production. The bankers however were betting the other way on high prices plus a tough reconstruction policy towards the south.

Lincoln was seen as a threat to the established order of things.

Undoubtedly his greatest trangression stemmed from his reaction to the need for money to pay for the war in 186l. When he approached the Secretary of the Treasury, Solomon P. Chase, he was offered loans at 24 to 36 per cent interest, which Lincoln refused. He called on his friend, Colonel Dick Taylor, to help him figure out how to finance the war. Dick replied: "Get Congress to pass a Bill authorising the printing of full legal tender Treasury Notes. Pay your soldiers with them and go ahead and win your war."

In 1862 and 1863 he printed 400,000,000 dollars in interest free "Greenbacks". An editorial in the London Times revealed the bankers' attitude:

"If this mischievous financial policy which had its origin in North America shall become a fixture that government would furnish its own money without cost. It would pay off debts and be without debt, it would have all the money necessary to carry on its commerce. It would become prosperous without precedent in the history of the world. That country must be destroyed or it will destroy."

Shortly before he was assassinated, Lincoln made the following statement :

"The Money Power preys upon the nation in times of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy."

do any of you really think that somehow things are different now than they were back whenever? if you do, then you are blind to reality. it matters not who is president. until we get control of our money , then we will never have any power. can you not see this? until we get the power of our money, we will always fight wars for others to profit from, we will always give israel money and arms, we will always take care of the israelis before we take care of ourselves. we must print our own money backed by silver and gold. when we do that, many of the problems we now have will disappear. the only sound you will hear is the sound of the moneychanger carping about lost profits...

Usually when you taste something for the first time and keep repeating it, it grows on you. I watched Hilary Clinton several times in the past few months and I had no prejudice whatsoever. Now I can't force myself to watch her. The last straw came when she said that her opponent was selling "speeches" whereas she was bringing "solutions," that he was all "words" and she was "action," and that "words were cheap."
It was all too much rhetorical for my taste and her remarks made no sense to me. She failed to realize that she was making a "speech" of her own when she said what she said. Her words sounded even cheaper.

yes , but the clinton dirty tricks committee, has been meeting about this problem as of late, i am sure and they will come up with a answer for the problem of this upity nigger as the clintons call him......and that is exactly what they think of him, no matter what anyone thinks.....and if he thinks for one minute the clintons are going down without a major fight, he has another thing coming. these people are mean and they have many friends.......and they can call in many favors and probably are doing that now.....mark my words. she will not go down peacefully....

Anonymous said...

matter of fact, i think , that as bush has done to the republican party, so to, shall the clintons do to the democratic party, if this thing plays out like it may. make no mistake about it. if the clintons are not the democratic candidates, they will stop at nothing to destroy the democratic party. they will use a scorched earth policy and if they can't have the presidencey, no one else will either...

I would vote for a politician I don't like if I can trust him or her enough to do the right things. Hillary Clinton's proposals so far, especially for the housing and mortgage market, don't inspire any trust in her.

what about the demand for higher wages caused by the higher taxes on those higher and higher tax assessments on property caused by the higher and higher prices, beyond the crime when business says no or rising costs of everything, and all "bought" with borrowed monies?............

no worry business will take all the jobs away and buy the lands for unpaid taxes and "assume" the former owners as vassal serf slaves

Anyone good enough and capable enough for the job wouldn’t want the job of being President. The people who run for President are the second-best crowd.
There is a real problem, this time (this election). The new President will not be able to fix what needs fixing. The economy will not be fixed by the President. The war against terrorism won’t be fixed by the President. Along with the economy, the employment and housing/lending problems won’t be fixed by the President. These items are not fixable (except terrorism in the long term) by a person or group of people. They must run their course. The newly elected President will be remembered as ineffective, and their party will have two strikes against it at the next Presidential election. I pity the fool who runs and wins.

I guess you've never held any type of position of power or had to defend yourself for anything or competed in anything???

You MUST be the type of person who would give up at the first sign of defeat. Very sad.

Challenges do not build character. Challenges REVEAL a person's TRUE character! Strength or Weakness?

frankly i don't know what you are babbling about but i must emphasize. the clintons are the most vile, corrupt and evil people that have ever lived in the white house since its inception. they kill people that get in their way. do you understand this? be sure you understand. they play for keeps and have a vaste political machine that is just now starting to get in gear. i figure they probably thought she was a shoe in and all of this sort of caught them by surprise. but it is not over by a long shot my friends. we shall see. if obama must know anything he must know that his very life may be in danger. in order to win the white house again, they will stop at nothing. nothing....

Some of you have a long way to go to learn that: Elections are about the lesser of the evils.

You can say that again. In 2000 the Supreme Court pushed the Conservative Libertarian Bush on America.

In 2004 Diebold counted the votes and did the same.

I can't wait to see what the Big Money Boys pull this time to stuff a Conservative down America's throat.
