Aw, alright, busted. The Wash Post coverage today went to my head. But I'm gonna break it off with Britney. Promise.

Thanks ML for the great pic. Damn, some HP'ers got skill.

Check out the comments at the Wash Post article. OVERWHELMING against any kind of a bailout. Beautiful.

LONG LIVE KEEF

LONG LIVE KEEF

Pathetic to say the least.

Normal humans support this program. It is needed to save millions of people from losing their homes. Yea so they get a break. Get the fuck over it and stop being such a whiny little bitch.

Just keep electing Dems like Hillary, Nancy, Harry and Teddy. All will be well then, I promise.

Those comments don't mean jack for the same reason that Ron Paul's fund raising records don't mean jack.

100,000 determined people can make a lot of noise / raise a lot of money but in a nation of 300 millions and under a democratic system their weight is insignificant

People who lied on their mortgage applications and who knowingly bought more than they could afford DESERVE to lose their homes.

You are no doubt one of them.

loving these attacks on Ron Paul because it just means you realize there is a risk he could win. guess the record fundraising figures, the straw poll shut down in SF when they realized he would win, the strong military support, and the debate polls mean nothing. don't even go there on the telephone polls. they don't even include his name as a selection if you listen to the latest phone surveys on youtube.

Why isn't the government trying to bail Britney out too?

I am waiting for my brothel discount stamps to arrive in the mail.

My sex life sucks, it is not my fault that I am fat, anti-social, and ugly so I have written George Bush to bail me out.

Keith, you whore. You're worse than Fred Durst. I hear Brittany's pregnant too - if that kid comes out looking like a sock puppet then I'm never posting to HP again.

Allright, Hillary, Nancy, and Harry are no all-stars, that's for sure, but what exactly has Teddy been wrong on in the last 10 years? Hate on the Kennedy's all you want, but Teddy seems to be one of the few Dems left with any real stones, and it's hard to get the sense he's bought and paid for by corporate masters like so many other politicians.

As far as this "bailout" goes, it's nothing but a PR campaign to try to get people to keep paying their mortgage instead of bailing out themselves. If anything it's an anti-bailout, a ruse to fool people into thinking if they just keep paying they're huge mortgage payment each month there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. There won't be any light for them, though, but the banks may have a few less CDO losses to write down against there earnings.

Obviously, some of the more intelligent politicians are going to figure out that is the case and call for something more to be done. They're not necessarily wrong for thinking that. In a vacuum, if you look at the current crisis and are told to come up with a solution, the Bush plan is hardly much of one. Is there a good solution, though? To the current problem? probably not. To the underlying cause, though? well that's why Ron Paul is gaining so much traction.

What most supporters of this bailout seem to forget is that most of the subprime so-called owners bought with 0 down or/and have taken money out on the mortgage. In short, these owners have no skin in the game. In fact, the banks/CDOs investors are likely the ones to benefit from this bailout which is why it was instituted in the first place.
Remember Wall Street new motto "Privatize Profit & Socialize Loss"

If you don’t like this freeze…my question is do you like the Fed rate reductions? Isn’t it the same thing? What about the 20 to 30 billions or more per year the government hands out in various subsidies? Is that OK? This proposal is not even a subsidy. What about the perpetual 500 billion on welfare programs every year? Is that OK? This is government meeting the corporations half way. Let’s get serious, there is so much waste in the government these days that whatever this would cost is not equal to a drop of water in a big pool. This should be your least of worries. If you're so pissed about this socialist government, you got many more and bigger fishes to fry. But then maybe you got some skin in this game and not on the others. Vote Libertarian if you don't like it!!!

Here's what I'd love to see:

A detailed list of all the bills and proposals that went before Congress and the Senate the past several years that were either designed to 1) inflate home prices to ensure that the average American would be a debt slave for life and never really OWN their home and

2) the bills (if there were any) that were designed to regulate the lending industry and slow the madness down.

I want to see the bills and I want to see the yay and nay votes by all these politicians on every single one of them.

I also want to see the tapes of the different lobbying groups before Congress who wanted to enslave Americans with ever increasing amounts of debt, from the NAR to the Mortgage Lenders, to the Wall Street Banks, etc.

I also want to see the tapes of the honest guys who went before Congress and tried to stop the madness. Like the Appraisers group that tried to alert the politicians to the fraud that was showing up in their industry in the early 2000's -they were summarily ignored by Congress.

Perhaps a website could be created where all of these pieces of information are in one convenient place so that The American People could educate themselves on which politicians care about you and your family and which care only about kickbacks from Wall street to enrich themselves.

We've known forever that the Banks and Wall Street see the average American as pawns to enrich themselves.

Now let's find out which politicians are the most agreggious examples of the same.

For example, who voted to lift Fannie/Freddie limits every time it went before Congress the past 10 years, and who. voted. against. these increases? That would be one place to start.

"Politicians and the Housing Bubble" could be the name of the site. It doesn't need to be a sassy site, just the straightforward FACTS.

but what exactly has Teddy been wrong on in the last 10 years?

Open borders and amnesty for 30 million illegal aliens and all of their extended family, which will come to 90 million uneducated illiterate immigrants that will suck the system dry and turn this country into a giant slum with cars sitting on lawns and flash kidnappings along with thousands of unsolved murders, just like south of the border.

BOSTON — A Boston firefighter is mending from what could have been deadly stab wounds he suffered early yesterday morning when he was allegedly jumped in East Boston while off duty by a group of Hispanic males who told him they "don't want any gringo here."

Though police are not classifying the incident as racially fueled, the Boston Police Department's Community Disorders Unit is investigating. The 32-year-old jake, whose name officials were not releasing, is white.

Sorry, dopes, but they can't stop the housing crash. They couldn't even stop the dotcom crash, which was much smaller. This creature is 10x bigger. George, Hillary and Benny can piss in the ocean all they want. It won't change a thing.

Oh god, get a life and stop blaming your problems on scary brown people.

Why does Britney always make you sit in the back seat like that? Is that why you're breaking up with her?
