Will George Bush (The Worst President Ever) and Dick Cheney one day face prison, or war crimes charges?

I think the Great Housing Crash and Great Dollar Meltdown may be what finally awakens Americans from their deep and immoral slumber.

Torture? Illegal invasions? Illegal wiretapping? Dismissal of habeas corpus and civil liberties? Who cares! Our home prices are going up! We're all getting rich rich rich!!!

Not anymore. It's time to pay attention to what the stench infesting the White House and Congress was doing while everyone was out partying these past few years.

n the context of war, a war crime is a punishable offense under international law, for violations of the laws of war by any person or persons, military or civilian. Every violation of the law of war in an inter-state conflict is a war crime, while violations in internal conflicts are typically limited to the local jurisdiction.

War crimes such as perfidy have existed for many centuries as customary law between civilised countries, many of these customary laws were clarified in the Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907. The modern concept of war crime was further developed under the auspices of the Nuremberg Trials based on the definition in the London Charter that was published on August 8, 1945. Along with war crimes the charter also defined crimes against peace, and crimes against humanity, which are often committed during wars and in concert with war crimes, but are different offenses under international law.

Article 22 of the Hague IV ("Laws of War : Laws and Customs of War on Land (Hague IV); October 18, 1907") states that "The right of belligerents to adopt means of injuring the enemy is not unlimited." and over the last century many other treaties have introduced positive laws that place constraints on belligerents (see International treaties on the laws of war). Some of the provisions, such as those in the Hague conventions are considered to be part of customary international law, and are binding on all,[1] others are only binding on individuals if the belligerent power to which they belong are a party to the treaty which introduced the constraint.

I think any contest to determine the "worst ever" prez of the USA would have to include those that owned slaves, and those that were in charge during WWII and OK'd the internment of thousands of Japanese Americans and the nuking of a couple of cities full of civilians.

I watched Alex Jone's new release "Endgame" yesterday about the NAU and the people who chose Bush as their puppet, err I mean presidential candidate, Bilderberg Group.

Keith has a very positive attitude compared to the 33 year old Texan and Reporter, Alex Jones.
(BTW, Dr. R. Paul gets a plug).

Now, what we have watched is History, in real time, since HP started. The VP Chaney power grab is about absolute global power, according to this documentary. Bush set up the new Terror Laws, (WITHOUT the checks and balances of the Legislative Branch of our Government's vote or knowledge) for future Presidents whom would need to quash dissent in the USA in the future.

Anyway, only 10% of the population had heard of the NAU. additionally our roads are paid for by taxes and sold to other countries as investments (tolls). There have been huge j6p protests in Texas which have been ignored by the MSM.

It is well and good that Keith keeps us informed, but we HP'ers are not the people that need the message, we are watching, partially with Keith's help. So, how to inform the other 90% of the hamsters?

The USA as you know it is friggin doomed, but not for the reasons you think.

A military dictatorship was formed under Federal law and by Bush, in which each state has no say. This is what we witnessed during the 'perceived wealth' part of the credit bubble...while no one else was watching.

Welcome the NAU ad kiss your hometowns ass goodbye.

Funny thing, Alex Jones thinks we can stop them. Do you?

Are you fu*cking kidding Keith?

Can you imagine if one of the current candidates for president ran on a "if elected, I will ask for an international criminal tribunal to investigate the possible war crimes of George Bush, Richard Cheney, Alberto Gonzalez and Donald Rumfield"

It just takes a patriot. It just takes someone with courage.

One problem though - the US Congress already pardoned Bush and Cheney for their torture crimes, so it'll have to be an international tribunal that gets 'em

http://www.rubyan.com/politics/2006/09/bushcheney_escape_war_crimes_p.html

Another problem - we don't have people with courage running for president. Not even Ron Paul.

Oh, you know why new attorney general nominee Mukasey couldn't say that water boarding was a crime? Because if he did, then he'd have to arrest his new boss.

Amazing.

We are way to weak as a society to even prevent these mistakes.
We as men ,and women,we have lost our self control.Maybe we never really had it to begin with.
To help your neighbor, and to sacrifice for family, and friends is the most anyone can really do to make a better society.Judges,Presidents, and
"leaders" have failed throughout history to accomplish that.

Why would you ever use Keith Olbermann as a source? This former sportscaster pretending to be a newscaster is not only outlandishly left-wing (meaning he's dangerously off-balanced; imagine a plane with a giant left wing and a tiny right one), but he takes internet "news reports" (a.k.a. internet rumors, using showing up as e-mail) and reports them as fact.

As for waterboarding (a.k.a. water boarding) being "torture," who are these idiots kidding? Islamic fascists think nothing of kidnapping people and cutting their heads off, and posting it all on the internet for every to watch. And I'm supposed to worry about one of these monsters having a wet cloth thrown over his face in an effort to get him to tell where the next bomb is about to go off? I suggest those who think this is a bad thing all move together to one country (how about France?), invite all the Islamic terrorists there to live with them, and then TRY to report back in about twenty years.

So, is this some sort of oblique reference to Kucinich's gambit to impeach Cheney? The one that's sitting with the Judiciary Committee right now? Articles for impeachment of the Vice President are under consideration, and you would hardly know it. You were aware of this, Keith, right?
Your man Ron Paul helped shuffle it off to committee, where the Dems are hoping it dies. Paul's rationale was reasonable enough, and this thing is not over yet. Here's hoping. Contact your representatives.

No anonymous idiot, you're supposed to worry about patriotic Americans being tortured.

Or do you think the government never makes mistakes? Seems a strange position to hold and also support Bush - aren't the Democrats the "the Government can do no wrong, make it bigger, make it decide everything, how about some 5 year plans" people?

And of course those of us who are actually thinking humans also think that yes torturing actual real terrorists is also stupid. It's pointless - people don't tell the truth when tortured they tell you whatever they think you want to hear. But the far more important it violates the constitution and real patriots will hence be against it no matter how "useful" it might be.

What is this, the Ramboization of America?

First, there are and were quite a number of stone cold innocent prisoners in Guantamano.

And yes, you---we---definitely must be different from these "Islamic monsters".

As much as possible, in every way.

That's the whole fucking point.

In WW2, the USA captured many outright members of the Nazi Party and SS that were incontrovertibly heinous monsters (unlike today where it's some friend of a friend heard something or they read somethign in an Urdu chatroom) and they never tortured them, no matter how much they "deserved" it.

Why? Because that was exactly why we were fighting the Nazi fascists: they do that, we don't. Ever.

It served our strategic interests as well, as many voluntarily surrendered to the USA instead of being captured by the USSR. We got lots of intelligence value out of it.

Now, are we going to capture alot of real terrorists alive, now that everybody saw all the crap the USA does---or more specifically all the crap they *imagine* the USA does?

Not really. We'll get less information.

Besides, torture doesn't work. At all. All long-time professional interrogators say so. It's not like TV. They don't blurt out the secret plans. They do talk. They babble, all sorts of useless crap, whatever to make it stop. All the leads are BOGUS, time wasters.

What does work is patient, psychologically informed interrogation. Not testosterone poisoned teenage bloodlust that might even offend the Inquisition. (or now, it's all been outsourced to the lowest bidder who's in it for a paycheck, not patriotism. No joke.)

BTW: After WW2, the Allies tried and executed some Japanese officers (grade A war criminals) for heinous crimes. Along them was waterboarding.

Not for a minute. I can dig where Jones is coming from and it's heartening.

But, our controllers have worked long and hard on their plan...and they're not about to just walk away because a few of us cattle are restless.

The agenda has been set.

Since when is Olbermann 'Left Wing'? Is Ron Paul left wing too? Is everybody who questions and challenges the status quo a Left Wing kook? You have narrow vision of the world; black and white, left and right, dem and repub, etc....

Call it what you want but you better get used to it, there is more of this coming down the pipeline...

War is a criminal enterprise. The so-called International Tribunal was established and is run by the criminals of course. Might non-criminal humanity join together to prosecute ALL war criminals someday?

Olbermann and Bush are peas from the same pod -- they're both loons from their respective ends of the spectrum. BOTH will get you in big trouble, the only difference being, BUSH has/had power and Did, and Olbermann wishes he could.

No doubt Olbermann wants to give drivers licenses to illegal aliens and hug the terrorists, since they're not really terrorists, but oppressed "freedom fighters" struggling to free themselves from Criminal Bush's grasp and Torture Empire.

I'll tell you torture, watching Olbermann for an hour... almost as bad as watching TV Religion on the religion channel.

And Olbermanns ratings prove it. Nobody is watching in terms of relevent numbers.

Thank god nobody is going to elect the Rosie O'Donnells and Olbermanns of the world into power.

Not that I want BUSH. JESUS what a mess that moron has gotten us into!

Kick his ass out!

Giulianni is the most realistic of the bunch now, and has actual leadership experience.

Nobody is going to be perfect, and even if Billary gets elected, you'll hate her after a couple of years.

BTW, even Billary isn't lefty enough for the loons on the left.

Great cartoon.

Pity of course that when they torture the innocent person they thought was a terrorist he'll say "It's at X" to make it stop. So instead of doing real police work/intelligence work their resources are sent to X and surpise surprise the bomb goes off somewhere else.

And when they do happen to have the right guy, he also says "It's at X" to make it stop - and again it isn't at X because he's a suicidal maniac who is going to die in the blast anyway.

Torture is an extremely efective technique for getting people to confess to things, even if they didn't do them. Which is good enough to religious inquisitions, Stalin, any dictator who wants to make the jailing/killing of his opponents semi-illegitimate.

Getting information out of people, though. Not so hot.

And on another note Giuliani would be disastrous for America. He's Bush with more brains. All the authoritarian crap, all the corruption, plus a better spinner. Of course Clinton would be just as bad - also authoritarian and corrupt.

Ron Paul, even though most of his ideas/policies are completely ridiculously stupid, is not an authoritarian and for the next President that's actually all that matters. There's only so much he can screw up with his odd ball ideas in one term, but he can undo the authoritarian steps taken in the last decade and frankly that's all that matters for the next term. Of course he won't be in the race let alone win it.

Translation: you're a left-wing, liberal, nut job who will be voting for Hillary. If you'd do a little research, you'd know that she supports exporting U.S. jobs to India despite what she says in front of the camera about "protecting the little guy".

No question about it. Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rummy and Powell and more are all going to jail for a long time.

The whole Bush Staff and all their Zionist puppeteers should all be flown to Baghdad and handed over to the Iraqi people......

1. They would be given a new pair of Nikes
2. They would be a given a 5 minute head start
3. It would all be filmed

THAT would be justice.

And we could use the proceeds from the DVD to help pay off the "war" debt.

Anonymous said...

Ah no I wouldn't vote for Hillary, not even if doing so would get me all the intern blow jobs. I'd be voting for Ron Paul, which is why I wrote "he can undo the authoritarian steps taken in the last decade and frankly that's all that matters for the next term".

Maybe you should try reading instead of foaming at the mouth when someone doesn't agree with everything you think.

As for why I think his ideas are on the stupid side, it's because I'm not a libertarian.

Also I think abortion is woman's choice. I think NATO is OK and that the US shouldn't just pull out of all it's military aliances. I think that sometimes their are external factors that make free markets not perfect. I think the gold standard is as flawed as any other. And so on.

But as I said, even though I don't agree with all his policies/views I do believe he is the only candidate who won't destroy America in the next decade. So none of those things matter in the slightest.

Hence I'd vote for him, except I don't vote. So I won't.

This International LAW was created for a reason! The Geneva Convention

“Noncombatants, combatants who have laid down their arms, and combatants who are hors de combat (out of the fight) due to wounds, detention, or any other cause shall in all circumstances be treated humanely, including prohibition of outrages upon personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment. The passing of sentences must also be pronounced by a regularly constituted court, affording all the judicial guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples.”

And why do I have to go and fight Iraq ? Did they bomb the U.S like Japan did in WW2 ? Did they invade the U.S or any of the U.S territory ? If not, then why do I want to go and fight a country that have done no harm to the U.S ? Can you explain this or you are uneducated so you have no logical answer for this ?
