Hey, it's only been two years. Nice to see America's most trusted weekly news magazine FINALLY write about the biggest story in the land.
HP MEMO TO TIME MAGAZINE EDITORS - YOU'RE INCOMPETENT AT BEST, CORRUPT AT WORST, AND YOU ARE IRRELEVANT. YOU MISSED ONE OF THE BIGGEST STORIES IN AMERICAN HISTORY, AND NOW, IT'S TOO LATE. YOU SUCK.
I'd give you more of their story here, but they add nothing to the debate and nothing to the story. If you subscribe to TIME magazine, you should cancel, and subscribe to a REAL news magazine, like The Economist, or better yet the daily Financial Times. TIME magazine is a joke. People-Magazine-like joke. A Screech-from-Saved-By-the-Bell-type-joke. A Hi-my-name-is-Scotter-Libby-type joke.

Definitions of Butterfly effect on the Web:
* In a system when a small change results in an unpredictable and disproportionate disturbance, the effect causing this is called a butterfly effect.

When has the Economist written a cover-story screed on the even more egregious U.K. housing bubble?
I.e. the houses that their most wealthy and powerful readers, and their top editors, own?
Of course they're less of cheerleaders, but where's the Professor Shiller of UK?
All the talk in the U.K. about the horrible price to salary ratio ends up being "how can we get another government program to help those first time buyers get on The Property Ladder"----and not----"we have to push home prices down any way we can."
I'd like to think that there are many other stories in American History that are much more significant than this greed based asset bubble of the last 5+ years.
What could be more significant than a huge ponzi scheme that destroys the economy?
Time and Newsweek are jokes

Skreech!
Porn dork!

At least TIME did'nt do a 9/11 cover-up piece like Popular Mechanics did a while back (or maybe they did?). PM published printed and documented lies about 9/11- which is scientific proof that America (and the world) was taken for a ride on 9/11 by a secret GOP group within the US Gov - and MASS MEDIA CEOs and related agencies.
What's even more chilling is these sheep keep attending and purchasing Bush-co GOP fundraiser plates who pay up to $10,000 for 2 hotdogs and a bag of potato chips -as they love to support Bush's continued massive failures, criminal operations and destruction of America. 100% Sick.
I've found that bush's national support numbers are more like 12% to 16% (just the people who recieved multi-million dollar military contracts, Iraqi construction contractors, american jews and brain-washed bible thumpers.)
Thanks Keith. More evidence NOT to trust the media about anything.
So sad.
PS: I noticed how the media is trying to HIDE the massive anti-bush, anti-war protest on Saturday in DC. Bu, bu.. but...other stupid stories will last for 3 to 5-Days!

HA HA HA HA. 1000 people is not massive dude. 100 times more people were at the Michigan - Notre Dame game than showed up for the protest.
And trust me the media is doing them a favor. If the American people ever saw who the leaders of the anti-war movement really were they'd throw up....Arabs, ex-hippies, and filth like that waving Palestinian flags.
Heh... Time magazine has been a well-known trailing indicator for a very long time. Once any major social trend hits the cover of Time, that's absolute proof that it's over. Heck, even back in the 1960s, when they put Hippies on the cover, the Hippie movement had been dead for a year. (I mean the original Hippies, not all the wannabies that came later and trashed the concept.)
only ten comments here, guess nobody is quite as concerned as you, keith.
